Grins upon hearing him, "Batou.... you are.... BRILLIANT!!!" she exclaims and brought her arms up to wrap around him in a quick friendly hug. "You can pull off anything. Lets just hope he doesn't make some crazy request half way though the building" she lets out a laugh, knowing Regna, he probably would too.

Batou chuckled, giving her a nod and patting her back gently as she wrapped her arms around him. "Yeah well... heh." he said, blushing as she praised him and gave her a grin. "Well you know Regna is exactly the kind of guy to do that sort of thing. I have some room for adjustments if he requests something in the middle of the build, if it's too spectacular we would just have to build it seperately... perhaps I will have a bunker built underground somewhere near the castle just in case." he said, starting to think of ideas. "Or maybe I can build an underground castle somewhere. Just dig out rooms and turn a couple tunnels into a castle hidden out of sight and mind." He said with a chuckle, the gears in his head turning once more.

Listened to his ideas, a grin forming on her lips once more. "Why not just an underground Castle but underground tunnels as well. We could have them go underwater to the capital. Hell we could build underground tunnels to all major parts of Tyran, not just the capital, but gaius, new arisalon, new haven the carrion lands, the xenothrian lands. So many possibilities"

Batou let out a laugh and looked back to Kissimi. "Kissimi we might be bad for each other." He jested with another laugh. "I was thinking something similar already although it would be a very long time to have tunnels dug that far. Some of those places would require crossing the ocean." He said, patting on his chin with his index and middle finger. "Although it's not impossible to do... it could take longer than our lifetimes to achieve unless we had just the right help." He said, thinking of a way to do something so ambitious. "I may or may not have a couple ideas though." He said with a grin, thinking of ways to get by the whole ocean dilemma.

Kissimi would grin from ear to ear hearing that he was thinking of the same thing. "Well, we can focus on all that after we get the Castle, crops, and buildings settled. You know our workers they hate being idle for too long so when we are done, they can have a reprieve while we work on ideas for grander things."

Batou nodded to her, giving her a smile. "I agree whole heartedly." He said with a chuckle however that didn't stop him from thinking about it and possibly writing up some blueprints in his spare time. "Did you want to grab a bite to eat since you are here?" He asked her, noticing that neither of them had a specific job at the moment.

Looked to the workers as they continued to dig out the hole to start the foundation of the castle. She heard him ask her if she would like a bite to eat. "Of course, I am a little hungry, been letting the men get their fill before I touch the food myself"

Batou chuckled, giving her a smile and a nod. "You must be absolutely starving then." He said with a laugh, throwing things out of proportion jokingly as he walked with her towards the large fire pit the tents were situated around. As they approached he would offer Kissimi as seat, setting up the spit over the bonfire and taking up a chunk of elk that had been recently cleaned and prepped for cooking. "You relax and I will fix us dinner." Batou said with a smile, setting everything up and beginning to cook the meat over the open flame.

Kissimi would laugh at his words as they walked. "They are my men, I must take care of them and make sure they have the energy they need to work." Once they reached the bonfire, she sat as he offered and watched him as he began to set things up and cook. Eyes looked to the meat, she could not wait to get the foundation and castle started.

Batou continued to cook for her, watching it slowly to ensure he didn't overcook the meat as he sat and listened to her. Once the meat was finally done he pulled it from the spit, drawing a knife from it's sheath and making sure it was clean before slicing a piece off for Kissimi. "Sorry that we don't really have anything to go with it." He chuckled as he took a wooden plate from nearby and placed the hunk of meat on it before handing the plate to Kissimi with a smile before making to carve his own. Once he had his own piece he would sit down by her and eat.

Batou let out a laugh as she repeated herself from earlier, remarking once again on his idea of a multi layered basement. He ate mostly in silence, having been taught not to speak with his mouth full from a young age but it was a pleasant silence, taking moments between bites to relax and savor the flavor. He let out a sight after a moment or two before looking back to Kissimi. "The entire basement is going to be stone... Using dirt and wooden beams between the floors for support." He said as he looked back towards the dig site as he ate. "I want to build some paths in the walls... moving walls and secret passageways. I've always had this dream of a crazy castle with countless secrets and now that I am building this one, I was hoping to make this castle the one. My magnum opus." He said with a laugh before looking back to Kissimi. "This is going to be fun."

Took the plate that he handed her, "Thats alright. Just the meat is fine." she would offer him a smile. Those eyes watched him as he moved to sit beside her. She began to eat as he did, listening to his ideas with the castle during the times he spoke. A light chuckle escaping her lips as he spoke of making this castle his magnum opus. "It will be grand." she smiled to him once more before going to take another bite. She thought of all the different hiding spot ideas, a secret wall within a wall, a moving bookshelf... oh the possibilities he could come up with.

Batou went on as they ate, thinking of more and more elaborate idea's. "How about a bath... a pool? The water would be filled to the brim and we can have some kind of system in the walls..." He he began as he swallowed his next bite. "Like water wheels within the walls that could carry water up and have the water flow like a waterfall from the ceiling of the room and rain down on the pool... Then I could make a pulley device that would cause the water to drain into a hidden basin in the works and the bottom of the pool could open to reveal a hidden stairwell?" He said with a chuckle, trying to imagine the workings of it. "That might take a lot of work... I do like the sounds of it." He said as he began to eat again. It seemed almost as if the cogs of his brain were ever turning, belting out more and more even crazier ideas every time he opened his mouth. It got to the point that it didn't even occur to him that he was only talking about the castle and failed to ask anything about Kissimi or her operation.

Kissimi allowed Batou to ramble on as she ate, listening to his ideas. When he took a break, she asked him curiously. "If you filled the pool to the brim, would water not get everywhere outside of the pool when water came down from above?" She thought some more on the pool idea, "How could you have a staircase at the bottom of a pool without releasing all that water into the staircase?" She wondered if he thought these ideas through instead of just spewing them out. Then again he was only tossing around ideas, but she still wished to hear his solution to these issues.

Batou stopped a moment, thinking before he would answer her questions. "Well... I will have two separate water basins in the walls where the water wheels will be, Those basins will be able to hold all the water in the pool and when the waterfall is active the water should circulate through the vents into the basins and up the wheel to the falls fast enough that the water shouldn't get all over the place. I was thinking the pool could be round with the room and very big. As for the water into the pool... that is a good point." He said, taking a moment to think. "Perhaps I can find something that could help seal the cracks in the secret door so that minimal water escapes into the tunnel below." He rambled on, rubbing his chin as he thought about it. He let out a chuckle after a moment and looked to Kissimi. "I have some kinks to work out... I like the idea enough to try some things though so I will think about it." He said with a smile before taking the last few bites of his food. "I am thinking of add-ons to the castle anyways, the pool isn't part of my original blueprint right now so I will have that built once the rest of the castle is done.

Kissimi listed about the water wheels, then about the secret door. "Batou, its not just the cracks in the door you'd have to worry about. It's also when someone opens the door." Hearing that the pool would be an add on later, she nodded her head. The men had quit working for the day and began to gather around the bonfire to eat, drink, and be merry.

Batou chuckled and turned to look to Kissimi, thinking of how to explain it to her however after a moment he just shook his head. "It's a work in progress... The door will be forced locked as long as there is water in the pool." He said simply, finishing his meal and taking a hearty drink of water as he sighed and looked around the bonfire. He looked to the men, seeing their smiles before smiling himself back to Kissimi. "It's nice to see happy faces despite the times." He said as he pat against his knees before standing to his feet. He stretched his arms, letting out a yawn. "We'd better get to sleep... the build starts full tilt tomorrow." He said, giving Kissimi one last smile before turning and walking towards his tent. "Have a good night Kissimi!"

Kissimi watched Batou as he stood and walked to his tent, "You as well Batou" she would say then looked back to the fire and watched as it burned for a few more moments. Afterwards, she looked to the men, "You all heard him. Time to rest, we start the build tomorrow." She watched the men as they headed to their tents, saying goodnight to them all. Kissimi would then walk over to Batou's tent and paused outside it for a second before moving to her tent and going to sleep.

Batou moved into his tent, taking a moment to stand and just simply stare at the contents of the tent's interior. It was almost as if he seemed lost, like he was trying to find something or at least trying to figure out what was missing. He yawned suddenly and stretched his arms after a moment, moving to take his equipment off and set down on his cot. He sighed as he lay back, looking to the flap of the tent for a moment before rolling over and closing his eyes. He wouldn't sleep however, in fact he would stay awake, lying in the darkness of his tent with his eyes closed but awake. His mind rolled on for hours after he lay to rest, thoughts and ideas for the castle dancing in his head until finally he was too tired to think and sleep took him.
Despite his lack of sleep, Batou would be one of the first to rise, his mind too eager to start the build and couldn't stand to rest longer than necessary. It would be evident by the look on his face that he hadn't gotten much rest however he didn't show it more than a look or two, letting out a sigh or a yawn here or there as he oversaw the first group of workers. He helped with the digging as well until the correct measurements had been made and the lot properly dug. He knew he would have to lay the foundation first before building more than a single basement, knowing the dungeon Kissimi was excited to see would need to wait. It wouldn't be too long, perhaps a three weeks to a month for the first floor to be properly built before he would start work on digging deeper but with the foundation he knew everything would hold fast and that was the most important part of the castle.

Kissimi slept through the night. When she woke, she moved outside and saw the men, already hard at work under Batou's lead. A smile formed on her lips as she mosied on over to the dig site. Those eyes watched Batou for a few seconds before she spoke, "Morning". With that, she grabbed a shovel and jumped down into the dig site to help.

Batou smiled to Kissimi as she spoke, giving her a nod. He had since pulled the table from his tent out into the sun near the dig sight, his blueprints scattered across the table and held down with rocks so they wouldn't fly away. Batou helped dig with Kissimi, ever so often taking breaks to survey the dig and make sure the dig was going according to plan and schedule.

When they were done digging, Kissimi grabbed hold of the rope that was tied to a tree and began to climb out of the hole. Body was covered in sweat and dirt. Hands callused and bleeding in certain areas. Once she found her way out, she dropped the rope back into the hole for the next person to climb out.
Kissimi looked to the area, smiling to herself. The next day would be the day to lay the foundation. It had to be hard, strong. One so strong it could hold a castle that built to the clouds if necessary. Though this castle would not of course, but the thought of it made Kissimi grin. All the rooms that could go into a castle that big. All the hiding spots and secret passageways. A soft chuckle escaped her lips at the thought.
Kissimi grabbed her horse and headed to the ocean. She needed to bathe, it would be her first time doing so since they started the work. She did not say where she was going, but if any saw how she looked, it would be quite apparent. She rode, enjoying the wind against her as she did.
Upon reaching the ocean waters, Kissimi slid off her horse and stripped down to nothing. Grabbing her clothes in her hand, she made her way into the water to clean her clothes off first as the horse drank the water. Though a little on the cool side, the water felt good against her bare flesh.

Batou continued to help dig, only stopping to notice Kissimi climbing up and readying to leave. He could tell she was filthy and it was obvious that she was most likely going to the river or the ocean to take a bath and clean up. He gave her a wave as she rode off before turning back to the dig, climbing out himself later to move to his table and look over his blueprints once more.

Once her clothes were cleaned, she draped them over her horse's back to dry. Allowing the sun to beat down on top of them. After hanging her clothing, she moved back into the water and began to cup it into her hands, bringing it to her face to wash the dirt and muck off. Kissimi spent a good amount of time in the ocean, allowing her thoughts to collect while her clothes dry. When she finally let the comforts the ocean was giving her, Kissimi walked back to her horse to see if her clothing was dry yet.
The material felt dry and stiff against her fingers and she began to slip it on. Darkness was starting to settle in and she mounted her steed once more, heading back to the site in which the castle would be built.
Upon reaching the site, she would find Batou staring at his blue prints once more. "Copper for your thoughts" Kissimi moved to sit down next to him. She looked clean, young, and refreshed once more.

Batou was indeed hovering over his blueprints with a look on his face that suggested he was deep in thought. His mind would snap back quickly however when Kissimi spoke to him, causing him to look up rather quickly to her almost as if he were startled. "Oh Kissimi... welcome back." He said to her with a smile before looking back down to his blueprints once more. "I was just going over my blueprints again, deciding if there were any changes we might need to make." He said to her, looking over his blueprints before looking back to the site before them. "The real thing usually pales in comparison to a blueprint. Often times revision will need to be made as the vision on paper begins to take form in reality." He said to her, choosing his words as if trying to make himself sound more intellectual. "How was your bath?" He would ask her after a moment, making note of her cleanliness with a half cocked grin.

Kissimi slipped onto a tree stump across from him and brought her own eyes to the blueprints. Those eyes looking them over, wishing that she was smart enough to make one herself. There were many ideas she had in her head for how she wanted things to look, but when it came down to putting it on paper, well that was where she faltered.
When he asked her how her bath was, it caused her to look from the blueprints up to his face. Seeing his smile, caused one to form on her own lips. "It was delightful, relaxing." a soft chuckle escaped her lips as thoughts entered her mind. When she calmed again, those eyes looked back to him, "What do you think? Foundation building tomorrow perhaps?"

Batou chuckled a little at her reply to his question. "That sounds wonderful... perhaps next time I should join you." He said with a laugh before turning his eyes back to the blueprints once more. "I would like to hope so... foundation building tomorrow would be a best case scenario considering everything goes according to plan. Often times things rarely go according to plan but all these men work exceptionally well." He said with a smile, looking up towards the hole the men were still digging. "The Sef clan are truely an exceptional bunch if I might say so myself." He said with a chuckle as he looked back down to his blueprints once again.

When he spoke of joining her next time, Kissimi blushed slightly. She had wanted him to join her this time, but would never say that out loud. They had a job to do and that was her priority. He spoke of building foundation tomorrow being a best case scenario and how things rarely ever go according to plan. "Well lets hope for tomorrow then but expect it by the end of 5 dawns time." A smile formed on her lips as she said this.
Kissimi sat down and looked to the blueprint once again. She tried to imagine what the castle would look like by it, but she just could not. Her imagery and him being able to put it down on paper was what made them work well together in jobs like this.
