She was not staring at anything in particular ..she had just lost herself deep in thought about the personality structure of different races. "Perhaps but elves besides dwarves .. but dwarves are more into tradition rather then I inherently thinking they are right , that would be interesting experiment to run . .. perhaps the elven orphan we get at the house of light . I will see if they can get adopted by a family of a different race , and see if the personality triats associated with different races change or stay the same . "
[gwen] giggles "Try to be a dwarf and buck tradition and see how much the others think their way is the right one. But I do get your meaning, nature of a being versus the way they are raised."

She nods gently to gwen " yes we will eventually have to go inside the cave , but we should explore the area. See exactly what we are dealing with around here . We might even get some answers about the plant inside from the animals or forest spirits. "

She got up and stretched before their walk in the woods " I am not sure . What ever it is, it does not like visitors of any sort. Even the wondering animal , but it very well could be just misunderstood as well , "

She brought her alchemits bag where she could take samples of pollen the seeds of plants . Draw images if she saw anything unique . As the walked and of course to take written notes .
[gwen] walks with Abi listening to the mixed song of life about her, the complex intertwinings of magic that tie everything together "I wonder, if mother was the fae they knew, how she came to leave here. Did father visit and take her away, I know he traveled some when he was younger, when my grandfather still lived."

Abigail didn't k ow how to answer her questions " that would be hard to answer , with out really knowing your mother, it could be possible to find other clues . Maybe . Since it was so long ago . " She would need over to a flower that she had never seen before . She began to sketch it's picture .. then take a sMple of the dirt around it and put it in her mouth .. first tasting its minerals and pH balance. Then putting a sample. of the dirt in a tube .
She the would mark on her map where the flower was .
[Gwen] nods "Yes, given the stories here she would have had to have left long before meeting my father anyway. If I am thinking about it clearly."

Abigail patted Gwen on the shoulder " I would like to know why this Faye left though, should it be your mother , perhaps loneliness ?"

The forest was lovely to walk in it was cool and there was slight breeze . The energy felt good . It wasn't long before they would come across some ruins . Upon closer inspection . They would see it would be one the anchient elven glades going back nature as it had been built by nature .
[Gwen] looks over the ruins with a small smile "It like the forest is well on its way to reclaiming this. I wonder how it compares in age to the rest of this."

She would look tongwen a little arch if her brow " well .. Gwen , you do speak to plants .. why don't you ask " she smiles wide at her teasing her a little but. But also wanting to know her self
[Gwen] giggles "I can try, but their notion of time can be a bit difficult at times." she picks a large hardwood tree and begins whispering to it in the fae tongue introducing herself and asking about the weather before asking if it remembered the old buildings

Abigail always found this part of the Gwen's nature fascinating. And she wished there was a way to record her speaking . It sounded always so beautiful . She found the tones and vibration of each tounge enchanting upon the ear to listen too.
[Gwen] chats with the tree for a bit giggling once or twice before turning to Abi and sighing softly

[Gwen] smiles and looks around "It is woven in most everything, but the trace is faint."
Is there anyway to tell of it is of the same relationship like mother daughter .. father son ?

Abigail frowned . " That's unfortunate. But at least we can now concur that the original teachings from the Faye were corrupted from the elves . ..

[Gwen] nods "I would be curious to find what those orignal teachings were, but like most fae my talents lie in the here and now, not in tracing the past." she crouchs down and strokes the ground lightly singing a bit as she does, lines of light glow as she does making a complex webwork of interactions visible
Abigail watches with curiosity, as gwens magick lit up the ground in the complex patterns. She followed them being able to read them once they were visable " we still might be able to find the original works. It rare elves destory anything , but rather they hidenit . ..I bet .. there could be a hidden library some where . "

[gwen]s eyes light up at the mention of library, the woman loves to read, both books and patterns. She examines the webwork of lines and points into the woods "That way I think."
Abigail giggles at her . She looks in the direction was point using the lines as her guide as they walk for a time they find the library but unlike the other parts of the ruins it was perfectly in tact protected by magical wards there were stong and had not lost there glow over time . " Hmm " she began. To try to break down the ancient elven language upon the door. This would take some time " they really made this. Complicated "

[Gwen] nods and looks over the door listening to the song of the wards with a soft smile "At least it isn't fallen to ruin." she gives a little tilt to her head "All wards share commonalities you know. There are only so many ways to accomplish the same task." a soft laugh "Which was useful to know back when I made my way a thief, once you learned the weaknesses it made it quick to bypass them."
Abigail had never done anything illigeal in her life. So this had never occurred her but it didn't sense once Gwen had something and she looked for a pattern. In the languages she had then all written out .. on the she Bagan to speak then words to the best of her ability. As no really knew what those languages would have sounded like .. unless you were alive perhaps a Millenia should which was doubt full in this case . And the first if wards went down . As now they were much stronger and more magical on nature she would let Gwen get second wards .

[Gwen] smiles at Abi with a twinkle in her eye "Very nice, now lets see..." she seems to be staring at the wards and then sings a single resonant note and the wards shiver, the light of them pulsing faster and faster as she holds the note until they finally fly apart
She claps as Gwen uses sound. What an ingenious way to gaurds something then a third set of wards " my my they really wanted to make sure .. then what ever was in here did not get into the wrong hands .or anyone to find it she read the words carefully and nothing happens ...she read then again" oh I see . It appears we need to use both song and voice .on this " she would gentle hold Gwen's hand and wait for her to find.the words .. and then she would start with the spoke. Word .

[Gwen] squeezes Abi's hand lightly and starts to sing using it to support Abi's words at they peel apart the third layer of wards
It would take a couple tries only because abibwas not getting a certain nuance of the accent right . But after a while in both spoken and singing word. They would peel away and the library door would appear

When the door would open there would be wals upon walls.of books shelf upon shelf and at least three stories tall . It smelled like.old pages..but the enchamentz kept the books from molding..or damaging " I should my daughter Luna here " she said with slight amusement " tell her I was 'll the books cataloged.. that might keep.her out of trouble for a day, this is amazing .. can you imagine the history in this building right now. " she closed the door behind them .
[Gwen] gazes around in awe for a moment "So much to learn in here. I love books you know, I read them in sets." she moves quickly to a shelf to scan the bindings

Abigail had to agree there was nothing like discovering a long lost library . Who's ancient books might hold secrets lost to world . Discoveries to be rediscovered. To read tales of villains and hero's lost to the years .
would find a shelf of fiction.
Poetry as a matter fact . Long epic poems of love gain and lost. Poems of adventure on the grand scale . And poems about villains and cruelties.. Poems about life
[Gwen] giggles at the find "Well I suppose one can learn a great deal from the poetic works of a culture after all. I wonder if they kept all the examples or only the good ones."
