finally felt like she understood him when she spoke of faith and trust, he had been trying to make that point from the start. He raised a hand to her cheek, cupping her face lightly. "Alani, I have already decided if you are worth the risk. I don't stay because of that decision, but, it is what keeps me close to you. Even if you deny me, I will remain. These people have become my family as well, this building has become my home. It would just be a bit warmer with you beside me." For the first time in a long time, he spoke in the whole truth, no deceptive riddles, no half truths, just honestly from heart he had left.

Kita:Sat on a couch in the living area, curled up with the same book she had been reading. She was more than half way done by now. Her furry ears moving lightly as she heard mumblings of Asher and Alani speaking behind closed doors. She couldn't hear what exactally they were saying but she knew they were talking. She wasn't paying attention to them. Her eyes were upon her book.

Alani:She didn't flinch nor did she even back away as he raised a hand, it moving to her face as he cupped it lightly. His next words though had her truly contemplating. Was she truly ready to open up and let someone close, six months had come and gone. Six months that she had spent cleaning and finishing the last details on the Sanctuary as she had waited. Lips parted and a hand lifted the coldness wrapping around his fingers as she took his hand "I am willing to give this a chance Asher, see where it goes and what happens." She was giving him a good amount of trust and it scared her more then anything.

Kita:finally closed the book. she was finished reading. The first book in a long time she read. She smiled softly. The first true smile she had in a while as she moved to stand. She could still hear them through the walls. Maybe...she will wait to return the book and choose a new one. She didn't want to interrupt....

At the monent her hand touched his, he felt something inside him come back to life, a part that died when he did those many years ago, it was back. He understood how much faith she was placing in him, he was risking the same uncertainty offering himself to another again. In the moment his fingers laced between hers, a small smile formed on his lips. "I will do my best to make sure you do not regret this." He could feel the presence of Kita, knew she was about, and knew their solitude was short lived. It was okay though, finally they were able to have the soul baring talk he had wanted for them.

Kita:breathed out softly as she moved from the room. Crossing the hall to the kitchens. She wouldn't go in. Not till the door opened. She set down the book and got a drink of water. She ran her fingers through her hair and caught snags. When was the last time she brushed those red locks? She couldn't remember. She cleaned her cup and put it away when she was done. She hummed softly. It was neither a sad nor happy melody. Just a melody she remembered from some time ago..

Alani:She lowered her icy hues as his fingers laced within hers, she truly seeing now that she was in this. His words had her looking up and a small smirk played upon her pale pink lips as those hues lit up with amusement "If you do I might have to use that blood ritual on you but not in a good way." There was a hint of teasing in her voice as soft laughter slipped from her lips "I have just as a good chance of messing up as you do so do not fear."

Sarah:Sarah let out a scream . A scream for all screams. But it wasn't a scared scream it was angry scream someone had been cooking in her kitchen. She immediately began noise as she began throwing things into the wash . And recleaning everything . Sarah's kitchen was spotless. And whoever cooked in her kitchen left spots. Yes Sarah was regaining her voice. Screaming was one way to vent a frustration . After being out of controll most if her life she had now become controll freak about a certain few things. One of them hey kitchen . The place she set up her bed . Where she spent 90%of her time she left for a little bit and people had invaded that space .

Kita:flinched as the scream scared the daylights out of her. She had her book her her hands...well...had...it jumped out of her hands and onto the floor as she placed her hands over her ears and tried to curl down a little. Frightened and now her ears ring because of the scream

Could only grim mischeviously to her tease. "Is there a bad way to use it? " the hint if a purr in his voice before he moved from her, not yet ready to break the physical contact yet, he kept hold of her hand for as long as she would allow. "I feel the others stiring..we shouldn't be locked away from them for too long." And there it was, the scream from Sarah, he knew that sound all to well. Before he moved to far away he remembered something...a show of trust he would offer Alani, and her alone. "A demons true name, is something they never reveal..it holds power over the owner. With it you can summon the demon anywhere, any time.." He turned back to far e her. In a low tone that only she would be able to hear, he whispered "Zepher" His true name. He had never spoken it before, in all those years.

Alani:That smirk only grew as he spoke of there being a bad way to use it, "Would you like to find out?" The words were cut off though as she heard Sarah's screams worry etched into every inch of her body. As he spoke again and she heard his true name a soft smile touched her lips she squeezing his hand knowing that was a lot of trust he gave her. Her attention though quickly shifted back to the door "I think we need to go check on Sarah though." She would begin to walk to the door she still worried.

would have enjoyed seeing what she spoke of, and yet there was a more pressing matter. He went with her toward the kitchen, wondering what Sarah was upset about this time...he didn't do anything...yet..that he remembered anyway.

Sarah:Sarah in her very plan dress that resembled a potatoe sack was stomping down the hall ways. Not her usual quiet as mouse pitter patter of foot steps . She was finally expressing emotion . Anger right now but it was emtion and different ention then fright. " Mama ! Sister ! " She called out she was using her voice now too . The gentle working of alani were paying off.

Alani:Caught sight of Kita before she saw Sarah running down the hall towards her those hues shifting back to Asher the worry evident as she turned back "Sarah what's going on are you alright?"

Kita:flinched lightly as she heard Asher. "That scream scared me...hurt my ears..." she uncurled. Taking her hands from her ears as she reached to pick up the book. The fur on her ears was standing up...making them more poofy

Sarah:She gave an evil look Asher as he joined them still not have forgotten the amount of work he gave her a week back . And then his lack of knowing how to process an animal . Only added to that anger . First she pointed at Asher " that man expected me to process. " She gave on a list of like 30 animals . " And someone has been cooking in my kitchen ! They did not clean " she pointed a pan . That actually looked clean .. but was not shined again after it was washed . Talking in a normal voice though the other too would not realize it was a huge step for Sarah .. and actually very very rare

Alani:Turned as Asher moved past them and too the kitchen before turning back to Sarah "I am sure it was a misunderstanding my dear." Her gaze shifted from Sarah to Kita and then back again as she looked to the pan she was holding. She knew how Sarah was and she was truly grateful to see her coming out of her shell. She was a different woman from the first day she had found her.

looked to kita, seeing she was alright he sighed in relief. He heard sarah, what she said and didn't understand why the cooking was such a big deal..the kitchen was clean. "We will sort this out." He told Kita before moving away from the kitchen and back toward Sarah and Alani. "I did bring in those animals, as many as she said. Our stores of food were a bit low. And I tried my best to help with the processing...im just not as good at as I am hunting." It was one of his weak points.

Kita:turned hearing Sarah "Your kitchen?" she blushed softly as she backed up a little. "I..I am so sorry I didn't know it was your kitchen. I saw some food that was going to go bad soon...so I made a big batch of stew for everyone. I thought I cleaned up very well but....I..Im sorry..." She sighed softly feeling really bad she upset her. She moved to leave the kitchen looking very defeated

Bestel heard the yelling but she was laying on the couch in the living room in her human form "oh bloody hell who is yelling i have a headache and now im hungry." she said as she sat up and looked around "well who is making a ruckus about animals and shining pans." she said rather annoyed with sarah right now "you know you could ask for help." she said as she straightened her dress out and looked around
