He walks over to the goblin and yanks off the gauntlet off his arm. He jumps up reaching for it, " hey give that back." Ronnie leers coldly as he equips it on his left hand, "I think not." He glares, " you don't even know how to operate that." Ronnie says, "Oh I don't. Ronnie presses a hand and a dark portal appears in the sky and the giant orc is sucked back up." He falls to the ground, "How, Ronnie says, "don't worry about that, worry about your fate." The Merchant got up clinching his fist, "yeah, not so big without your big orc to back you up."

Ronnie closes his eyes for a moment as the roles was reverse and the Dwarf was now begging for mercy. Ronnie spoke, "wait do not hurt him." The man spoke,
"what why not he deserves it." The Dwarf says, "Yeah yeah what he says." Ronnie spoke, "I will pay for the damages that was caused, I want to give you a chance to do something important." He blinks, "Wait you want to trust me little me with something important. The merchant blinks, "you Breteuils' are a weird bunch what would you want with trash." Ronnie suddenly raised a sword at him, " Stop judging people, people are more than what we see." He backs up, "whatever do what you want." Ronnie holds out a hand, "Welcome back Bridget, "I have another message for you, sorry for working you so hard today." He pats the little pink dragon and then pulls out a small scroll and imprints his light on it and slides it into the holster on her leg, "Well until next time." He watches it fly off, "Well, your decision." The dwarf scoffs, "like I have a choice." Ronnie looks at him serious, "Everyone has a choice."

Ronnie stood outside the out by the boat with his new dwarf companion and he asked, "where are we headed. Ronnie spoke, "To the former land of Breteuils." The dwarf says, "what the original home or prison I should say of the Breteuils." Ronnie nods his head, "yes we are going to ressurect it." He looks at it, "what wait how." Ronnie says, "don't worry you will see." He sighs, "fine, don't have much of a choice." Ronnie suddenly turns around as Matthew, Brock and Danial suddenly stood there. Brock spoke, "Ronnie big news, the temple of evil have a big force close to the Capital." Ronnie responds, "How is that our problem?"

Brock says, "Well if they try something and we help it would help our standing with Laelia." Ronnie laughs some, "My apologies but helping the capital in their basic situation will not help, plus Laelia as neutral and smart as she is, she still has poor judgment." Matthew says, "pardon." He folds his arms, "For some reason she allowed the Temple of Evil to open their church. It shows that my belief in her potential was misplaced." Matthew motions a hand, "so, do we abandon the Capital and just use them for basic trading only." Ronnie says, "we will do that, but we have to show Laelia that she should listen to us."

Daniel responds, "How would we do this?"Ronnie looks at them, "You know this is hardly the place for it, but my business will be done tonight and I want you to assemble at the Purge and inform my fiance as well. We will begin the Operation without Laelia's consent, not that we need it for the testing phase anyway." Matthew says, "How will we do that?" Ronnie motions a hand, "all will become clear, just know our ambitions for purging the Capital is still in effect, Laelia will soon see that her neutral approach will not produce her any worthwhile results for her Kingdom." They nod their heads and begin to leave. Brock turns, "wait will Shrick be there." Ronnie says, "yes, I am sure he will have stuff he wants to say as well." He nods and they walk away." The dwarf speaks, "my my, you have a lot on your plate." Ronnie responds, "don't worry about that, our purpose now is more important than all of that, especially for me to go for my greatest ambition." The dwarf says, "what purging the world?" Ronnie responds, "no."

Ronnie decides to get on the boat only hiring one person to drive the boat out to sea." The dwarf spoke, "so, what is the plan." Ronnie moves a hand in his bag pulling out a gauntlet with two stones install in it. He looks, "wait is that Gauntlet." Ronnie responds nope, this gauntlet is different than yours, You are going to use this to revive the island that sunk." The Dwarf eyes widden, "How am I going to do that?" Ronnie responds, :all will be explained in due time." The Dwarf scoffs, "you are a jerk you know that right." Ronnie retorts, "yeah."

Ronnie and the Dwarf arrives to a fog and the boat driver speaks, "we are entering a dangerous fog." Ronnie raises a right hand and suddenly the fog seems to present and open pathway. The dwarf, "I see so only one of you can get through this safely." Ronnie spoke, "yes, it won't be long now."

Ronnie closes his eyes and moves back to his pouch, "well it is about time." The Dwarf speaks, " For Wh.." He looks ahead, "there is nothing here but empty water space." Ronnie hands the Gauntlet to the Dwarf, " He speaks, "wait you are giving this to me, why." Ronnie says, "with this gauntlet currently you can manipulate water, wind, earth and fire, You will use this power to ressurect the fallen island." He looks at Ronnie funny and says, "fine, give it here." He will take it and then would give a smirk, "Hehe."

Soon the Dwarf motioned his hand at Ronnie and suddenly water flows into the sky forming into water spears and directed at Ronnie. "Did you really think I will just become your pawn, ha you are a fool for trusting me." Ronnie chuckles, "I gave you a chance for redemption, but now you shall be a pawn."He says, "Just di..." He screams in pain as several light needles protudes out of his body, "what is happening to me." Ronnie says, "If you just focused and did what I wanted, you'd be ok, but I suppose sacrificing yourself will be fine." He says, "what, what are you talking about." He suddenly screams as his arm raises in the air as the two stones install begins to glow, one glows blue and the other green and brown. Ronnie looks ahead as a whirlpool begins forming in the center of the area incased by fog." The boat begins to rock violently as a strong gust of wind seems to be blowing.

Ronnie looks ahead calmly as the Dwarf screams, "You planned this from the start." Ronnie folds his arms behind his back, "you should know life is a test and you both passed it and failed it." Ronnie listens to the rumbling it is beginning, don't give up, you can do it." He yells, "like he hell I can." He tries removing it but he can feel as if the gauntlet is taking control and he screams as the boat is pushed backwards from the forces at work. Ronnie smiles, "finally, home will be revealed again."

Ronnie walks around the ground and looks at what looks like ruin playground." He would remember a child version of him with two of his friends playing ball and slay the monster." Ronnie smiles a bit at the memories and then resumes his walking.

Ronnie ran to try and hug his dad but he passed through his body and fell face first into the dirt. Ronnie hand squeezed the wet dirty ground and clinches his fist as he fights tears in his eyes." His father spoke, "rise my son I did not come back to see my great son in the dirt."

Ronnie stared at his Dad as he spoke, " You are no longer a boy, you were forced to grow up fast, faster than some. You have forged your own path not bounded by just our family goals but yours on its own and now it his lead you to this place, for but one reason. Ronnie speak yes, "For the Light Source Power." He nods, "I knew you come for it, No Breteuil has been close to the temples to be revived and thus none was able to find the secret.

His Father nods his head, "yes only Breteuils that have died know this, but because none are like you, no one was able to return to life and tell the tell and for good reason, that power is too strong for any normal person." Ronnie clinches his fist, "I know but I am no normal person, I am your son." Ronnie points a fist at his dad, He spoke, "son you are skilled, strong mind, strong body, strong spirit, but you have it, that weakness and it is sharp." Ronnie blinks and asks, "what?" The dad spoke seriously, "Hatred and fear, every since that night you have been fearful and having hate guide you." Ronnie steps back, "What? Everything I done is for Tyran!" He chuckles, "calm down it is ok to have personal goals, but when your goals are rooted in hatred and vengence as to justice your soul will be stained and your light will be weakened, most of our family have this weakness." Ronnie looks down, "So, am I suppose to let go." His father walks to him, "No, you do not let it control you, don't worry about what happened to me, if that creature needs to die, then do it for your justice, but not to satisfy your hatred, fear and vengence, now tell me, do he really need to be slain." Ronnie backs up, "yes....I don't know." His father spoke, "Ronnie don't be like me and a cocky fool, you have alot of potential and your goals are noble, but your vengence will cause you to lose the most important thing, yourself."

Ronnie goes quiet and looks down, "I can't let it go he needs to die for what he did." His dad sighs some, "Son, everything does things according to what they are programmed even the abominations, he killed me because I tried to kill him, you do not need to take the burden of finishing my mission, plus don't you have one, determine if killing him is more important than beating him." Ronnie says, "I will try...." He smiles, " Son no this I am proud of you." His form suddenly goes hazy and begins to fade out." Ronnie extends his hand out, " wait Father don't go...."

Ronnie would look ahead when Shrick landed in front of him. Ronnie spoke, "Shrick....." Shrick stood there and transformed into his anthro form and looked down at Ronnie seriously." Ronnie looks down as he wasn't sure what to do." Shrick says, "Hmm, where is strong willed Ronnie." Ronnie looks up at Shrick." Shrick says, " losing someone important is rough but losing self is worst." Ronnie sighs, "Me loose myself." Shrick nods, "Shrick hear conversation, Shrick know Ronnie can do it, just don't lose sight of your light and you can do anything." Ronnie chuckles some and laughs, " You are right plus there is no turning back, I will walk forward with courage and no regrets." Shrick smiles, "good, and remember." Ronnie raises his fist along with Shrick, "THE LIGHT!"

Tyrannights is a free-form play by post RPG with a medieval fantasy setting. It was formed in 1997 by Shawn and Doreen with many different owners and versions over the years. Its current version is Tyran: Tales of Legends owned by Sinead and Laelia.
Tales of Legends is world and character building focused with and original setting. There are no forced character aps or registration, so come stay in Wendy's Tavern for a drink. Have you character serve one of two Tyran gods. Rule a city of your own, or serve Tyran's Queen. There are limitless possibilities for your character's story... so what are you waiting for?
