Day XX Month XX
You know, it's so hard to hold on to the many fading memories I have. Sometimes I find myself wondering if my adventures and life really happened in that other world. Whether or not I lived them or if it was all some sort of crazy fever dream. But whether or not they were real, I want to preserve my experiences here in this book so that I never forget them. Real or not.
I remember the first few days I spent in that land. I was on the run with a man who had promised he knew someone who could get me home before we were attacked and I ended up in a river. How long and far I travelled in that river I do not know, all I know is that I awoke in the place that I called home for most of my life there. The grove, homeland of the unicorns. How I arrived however was where this story begins. For I was a legend amongst them, known for many years as the lady of the lake, the lady who tainted the lake is more like.

Several days passed when she had drifted along that river, bleeding from her knee. Several days had passed before she awoke. Warmth on her face from some sort of external source and some sort of soft material laying atop her. Her head was on something soft and she heard movement nearby. She groaned softly and eased her eyes open. Maybe she was back home in her own bed and one of her mothers would be coming in to wake her up. She eased her eyes open slightly. Green-yellow hues wincing as the light stung them.
"Nngh...." She groaned.
She heard shuffling nearby and through the blinding light, she watched a female form rise from a nearby chair and walk over. She heard water before a cool cloth was pressed to her forehead, "Welcome back to the land of the living sweetie." Came a melodic, calming voice with a curious accent she did not recognize.
The cool cloth felt good on her forehead and Rhemi was content to close her eyes again and just rest for a moment. After all, she felt a strange dull pain in her right leg and she had an idea as to what it was. Rhemi took a deep breath before speaking, "Where...am I?" Her voice was slightly hoarse and cracked slightly as she spoke.
"You are in the grove. The sacred home of my kind, the unicorns. And you, are very far away from home it would seem."
Rhemi took a moment to digest this information. The grove? Lilliana had once told her of the place and of how it had been burnt to the ground. It would seem this was not the case in this land, "So the grove...still survives here?" She asked as she sat up slowly, a wave of nauseau rushed up to greet her as she did so and soft hands quickly pressed down on her form, guiding her to lay back down.
"Eaaasy there. You've lost a lot of blood and have been sleeping for several days. Best to take baby steps. But, as for your question. Yes, it still survives. One of the only places in this land that has."
Rhemi eased her eyes open again, the light a little nicer on them this time. She was in a curious circular room with straw for a floor. The windows were all open air and the door was simple braided grass hanging in strands from the frame. Her eyes came to rest on the woman who was speaking to her.She had a waist length mane of silvery blonde hair and striking purple eyes. Her features were sharp and yet elegant and she was dressed in a long, flowing green robe which clung tightly to her form.
Rhemilya knew who she was staring at. She'd been told about her many times. Those purple eyes were a pair she had stared into many a time.
It was Lillianas mother, Aurora. A woman whom was dead where she came from.
"Aurora...?" She stammered.

Day XX Month XX
I remember that first day when I met Aurora. It's uncanny how much her and Lilliana looked alike, she was every bit as pretty as she'd been described. More so perhaps. I don't know how different she was from the world I came from but she was pretty. That was for sure.
I recognized her almost instantly. It was her eyes that gave it away, deep and worldly purple hues. Hehe, that's always been my favorite feature of Lilliana. Her eyes. Like amethyst orbs you can stare into endlessly. *scribbled out words* Ehm, moving on. Aurora was so very kind from the very first day we met. In fact, she's the whom who raised me in the other world. If it wasn't for her, I don't think I would have made it another day in that land.
She's the biggest regret I have returning to my own world. She was there the day I left and her eyes were the last thing I saw as I pushed through the gate back to my own world. Maybe some day we will meet again in another life, but with the gate closed behind me I doubt that will ever happen.
Aurora guided me closely in my first week in the Grove, explaining how things worked and why I was there. Only maidens of pure heart could see unicorns or enter their grove. Well, I know my mothers raised me right. That's for sure. For that first week, I managed to stop worrying so much about being lost in another world. At least for a little while.
Well, when I actually got to spend a week there. Many events happened during my time in the grove.
