Baracus: Baracus sat in his abandoned arena going over the conversation he had last night with the young Darling. She had proposed a decent offer and he did still want to see the world burn so he would lend his aid to her.
Amika: had come to the Arena sometime in the morning hours. She hasn't really slept. She felt....anxious for an odd reason. Something she couldn't put her finger on. So she came to check upon her friend. The familiar feeling the arena gave her, sent goosebumps upon her skin. The child within her, hasn't moved yet today. She didn't pay any mind to it. "Baracus..." she spoke his name softly as she stood there inbetween two columns. She knew he was there...she could smell him.
Baracus: He knew she was there. And she had this odd smell. Not in a take a bath kinda way but something he had smelt before... familiar. "I'm not coming back, Tyr can find another guardian to betray...I'm done with the temple."
Amika: shook her head as she went to where his voice was. "I'm not asking you to come back. Can I not simply visit a friend? One of the few I have left?" she asked softly approaching him. She was uncomfortable. But not with him. He would see this easily upon her.
Baracus: "You reek of that temple, and that kid of mine." He would stand and throw a large tunic on stepping out from the cell he used to lay down in. "Besides, I really don't want that around me." He pointed to the child she carried. He knew it was hers but it's other half was someone he couldn't stand. He wouldn't kick her out so she was free to stay and talk.
Amika: wouldn't approach further as he spoke. Her brow furrled as she persed her lips. "I am still a Priestess of the temple you so hate but you know me, Baracus. And I know you dislike the child that I carry in my womb." she said with a soft sneer. "What has happened, Baracus? You and I were so close....then you cut me off like...like.." she snapped her fingers trying to think of the ward. "Off like an overdue bar tab." the analogy wasn't quite right. She knew but she said it nonetheless. "You are still my friend. My dear friend. I miss our talks. I miss our drink..." she said with a soft chuckle. "I miss us."
Baracus: Baracus came into view. " Right now, I'm friends with half of you since right now your one of two beings in a body. Forgive for not liking Regna's b@$tard child. Him, the Sefs, and the unwiped ass sitting in the ToE are things I wish would vanish. I'm too old to let this crap roll off my back. Once your just you I'll be more myself but that will never be welcomed here."
Amika: looked to him. Regarding him. "I understand, Barry." she used her pet name for him. "For now...can you speak to me as if I am not pregnant? Speak to me as a friend and not something that carries what you despise most of all...." Chuckled weakly. "Although I'm sure you want to eat the baby." she added.
Baracus: Baracus looked to the kid...'Naw, don't eat sh*t. But yeah...stay..go..whatever. He grabbed a bottle of fyre wyne popping the top and drinking. "Don't mind the mess... I've given up caring."
Amika: chuckled softly as she moved closer to him. reclining against the wall. "Before now, I never cared about mess....You should see the temple...its relatively spotless now."
Baracus: Baracus walked by her heading to his forge surrounded by exquisite weaponry and armors. All being hidden by a curtain before. The forge was already lit but on a low temperature so Baracus summoned a hotter fire ball and added it to the fire pit."There, it'll be ready in a few minutes." He went to the rain water collection bucket and swapped it with another. "Sorry I'm not talking but I'm used to being alone."
