It had been several days sense the Quake that claimed so many lives. While many had started to get back to their normal lives, the residents of the towns around the Temple of light had no lives to go back to. she thought long and hard, walking the temple grounds. she flew up high above the ground and looked down on her new Island and smiled, she knew what she would do. Her plan was simple take this new nearly 100 SqMi Island and turn it into a walled sanctuary. She set out quickly to contact the crafters that had helped build the temple, one by one they all agreed to help with her new project, the wheels were in motion. Before long hundreds of crafters were on the Isle starting work on the perimeter wall with hundreds more coming to start rebuilding the homes that were lost. Her plans were going extraordinarily well but she was not yet happy, she needed a way to protect the people, a way to shield the isle from future destruction. She thought and looks at her island with all the crafters and people working together to rebuild, that's when she saw the new ley-line Node. She Knew the quake has disrupted and shifted the magical Ley-lines but to have a Node under her temple, this was an unexpected gift but she knew all to well it could be a curse. She set off for XDC to talk to her mother Rita, she knew her mother had been working on new devices, magical machines like golems or something, she didn't understand the details but she knew they held the answer she was looking for.
In Rita's lab Sakura told her Mother what she wanted to do, Rita got a long look on her face and said " What you ask is a slippery slope. The Deities of Tyran are extremely powerful, and on top of that My Aether tech while still magic based is frowned upon, this land does no embrace much in the way on technology even if its almost 100% magic based. " Sakura pleads with her mother " I know but I have to protect them! I know the Risks of using the Aether tech but ... " she frowns " I'm their ..... their priestess, It's my job to protect them all and protect any who come to the temple. If the Trinity comes to complain I will deal with them but PLEASE just give me the devices I need to protect my people! " Rita smiles as she listens to her daughter, as she hears Sakura talks she thinks Harmony would be so proud hearing this just as proud as she was, her daughter, a girl born to a cursed legacy, fated to become a destroyer of worlds had changed her destiny. She had Chosen a path and learned that there are people out there that would love her for who she was not what she was, she had learned to embrace her past but reach for the future and most of all she had learned to care for others more than her self. " Ok I'll do it. the ley-lines will allow me to send you 5 nodes they will channel the Aether of the ley-lines and when in need will use the ley-line to draw on the power of my Dragon realm phasing the island out of time for a few moments. " Sakura smiles and Hugs her mother " Thank you " Rita smiles back with just a thought 5 devices teleport to the Island 1 in each corner and the 5th atop the Memorial Spire at the Islands Center, It would Shine bright white like a star, it would be a beacon of Hope for all that saw and all that came to the Island. Rita Looks down to Sakura and says " Your a leader now, people look to you. You must always be ready for any situation and always be ready to face the consequences of your actions; However, you need not always tackle your problems alone. " and with that she sends Sakura on her way. Sakura smiles and heads out of the lab and starts her way out of the stronghold.
