turned his head feeling the magic in the air stop he listened "Are you undoing my work?" he looked like he was almost staring at her one could almost swear he was for all intents he was. Now it was that awkward wait to hear her awnser, a breeze had picked up usually the desert was not so kind to offer up a breeze in the short span of a week he had learn't what a breeze meant and that was a sandstorm the kind that ripped flesh from bone with coarse sand, but he held his ground staring at her.

The shaman's lips tipped up at the corners. "Work is something you do on purpose. I am undoing your mistake." The breeze stirred her long black hair and set the skirt to fluttering around her legs. Dark eyes shifted away from the visitor to the sky and she clucked her tongue. "It is too late. You've angered the spirits."
She quickly retraced her steps, moving from one stone to the other until she reached him. Her fingers clamped around his wrist. "Follow me." It was not a request. "You've power, Blind One, and together we can get the wards up in time." The large scarab on his shoulder chittered, nervously twitching its antennae as it sought safety against the side of his neck.

he thought he found a new friend the Scarab he was unsure of the woman herself but he was blind so she led him for all he knew he could be firiing up some sort of magical cannon and destroying a small village, guess it was better then getting chewed up and spit out by a sandstorm again and having to heal with his magic first time was enough. He reached up with his other hand his helmet flew up into his palm and he place the Scarab in it tucking the fabric over it like a tent he craddled it under his arm protecting it. "Spirit aren't really my thing they see me know and are jealous of me coming back".
Haydeh - Today at 12:49 PM
She nodded briskly, focused on the precise placement of her steps as they walked the pentagon around the Oasis springs. The wind roared and the magic potential increased exponentially with every stone they passed. By the time they returned to the start the air was thick with gritty sand and pent up energy. Haydeh squeezed his hand, grabbed the bone amulet around her neck, then threw her head back and stomped a bare foot.
For an instant time stood still.
Or did it? It happened so fast it was hard to be sure, but there was no missing that beat of utter silence in the moment before a mystic blue light erupted from the shaman and spread into a protective pentagon shaped barrier around them.
Suddenly exhausted and weak, she lead him a couple steps forward towards the water and away from the barrier at their backs. "Don't touch the ward," she said softly, letting him go and sinking down to the damp bank at the water's edge. "You'll break it and...well, we'll never have to worry about anything else again," she ended wryly.
The shaman was cold and clammy to the touch, her black hair damp with sweat and her dark olive complexion nearly drained of all color. Whatever she'd done it had take a lot out of her. The scarab in his helmet chittered and tried to crawl up the sides of the slick metal, its movements frantic beneath the makeshift tent.

he looked down at his helmet hearing the chinking from the Scarbs feet and pulled back the Fabric it was clearly a reaction to her sudden weakness, it was not unusual to have Shamans with Avatars animal creatures he lifted the Scarab out and set it gently down on her shoulder to watch her "I got you " He kneeled It was almost poetic the heavily Armored figure made sure to stick to her rules but supported her, watching to see what the Scarab would do if nothing he wold intervene then, but sharing his magic meant memories, something he truly did not want her to bear for him.

The beetle scampered down her shoulder to the top edge of her choli top where it crossed over the upper swell of one breast and then disappeared into the intricate scarab tattoo on her chest. The ink glowed for a moment, then faded back to normal. Haydeh let out a sigh of relief, her shoulders relaxing a fraction.
She tipped her face upwards, peering through the blue ward to the raging sandstorm. "It will last until you have atoned to the spirits. You will have to make an offering to the Oasis." She gave him a somber, expectant look.
Judge - Today at 1:06 PM
he looked at her dumbfounded for a moment "What is enough?" his eyes wandered down over her breast but not pervertedly the Scarab he seemed to miss it already and he wondered why he had connected to it but not her, lips pursed and let out a deep breath he stood up though leaving the helmet near her and looked at the pool of water "What is it you want from me, a Soul that once lingered with you all on another plane?" He hated his power sometimes but he tilted his head he awaited there awnser should it come a price he clearly had to pay for his own stupidity.
Haydeh - Today at 1:17 PM
Haydeh grunted as she pushed herself to her feet and walked over to stand slightly behind his right shoulder. The return of the beetle seemed to revive her a little, although she lacked much of the vibrancy of before. "What would you want from someone who had accidently blundered into your most precious secret? What would you demand of someone who unwittingly stirred your heart?" she asked him softly, her expression strangely sympathetic as her eyes gazed into the clear spring water.
"What will you do if you left here, Blind One? Would you bring more outsiders? Would you plunder the Oasis' riches? You now know a secret only a rare few have ever laid eyes on."
Judge - Today at 1:23 PM
stared at he water a moment his own reflection his eyes half lidded over like something in his brain had clicked and he was having a dream a daydream it was fuzzy but he saw a man he wheezed a bit "You are Judgement Fafnir" he spoke "This is your purpose a Judge of the Living, you could condemn people to die, offer them Salvation, Give them Freedom but you, yourself will never be given a happiness that is your purpose, To walk Judge and live a life in Eternal Purgatory" He leaned forward taking a deep breath his eyes opened Wide "Are you bound to this Oasis?"
Haydeh - Today at 1:29 PM
A small smile curved her lips as he gave his truth to the waters. She bowed her head at him in approval and then retreated, retaking her seat on the grassy shore. She curled her legs up beneath the nearly-sheer loinskirt and drew the weight of her hair to one side, letting the inky strands pool on the ground.
"I am not bound as the beetle you favor is bound to me. I am bound by choice, I serve the Oasis and in return it serves me. But we are both our own masters. Are you bound to more than just your curse of judgement?"
Judge - Today at 1:35 PM
fiddled with his hands "I don't know why or who still, but I remember that it was my choice to become what I was, and I'm bound by that Oath some very Deep way not just magically but spiritually something tethers me" He paused looking out into the storm "That Tether is what won't let me die, I might seem Larger then life but I have come close to Death and I have seen her with these blind eyes and she mocks me, whatever or whoever did this has a way with Death herself and she refuses to let me cross over, this land of the Living will be my purgatory until I can find out who did this" As he spoke the truth from his very soul his eyes which had started white began to fill in like and Artist drawing in the lines his eyes filled with color and his sight returned it was fuzzy at first but it sharpened "I made a deal for my soul and this is my price". He turned his eyes to look at her and she would see his Cold Icey blue frigid.
Haydeh - Today at 1:49 PM
She nodded slowly, respecting the gravity of his words. She studied his eyes as one studies a painting, searching for the hidden meanings, finding the unspoken truths kept secret from the shallow masses.
"The Oasis appreciates your offering, Judge." As she spoke the storm outside the wards began to die down. "Like you, the Oasis is neither good nor evil. But it is wild, and has no desire to be tamed or harnessed. Do not speak of what you have found here, or the sands will find you again."
The wind settled and the mystic barrier dropped, revealing the remains of numerous creatures who had not made it within the pentagon before the sands raged. Snakes, lizards, rodents, and more lay scattered around the Oasis' edge.
Judge - Today at 1:52 PM
turned to look over the Bones "I might visit again that's it, should come with however" He turned to look at her studying her truly for the first time, his eyes showed a hurt a great hurt something that hurt him in ways he would never recover the kind that scarred the soul deeply "My guess is the Oasis has way's of Hiding itself to protect itself".
Haydeh - Today at 1:58 PM
Exotic was the best word to describe her appearance. She rose with fluid grace, her broad, feminine curves silhouetted against the setting sun. Her hair and skirt fluttered around her legs and high cheekbones lifted with a small smile. "You would have me leave the Oasis?" She arched a brow and looked beyond him to the seemingly unending expanse of rounded dunes. "You are right, the Oasis can exist without me and vice versa. But I know of no reason why either of us must." She looked back to him. "Do you?"
Judge - Today at 2:03 PM
he almost smiled like a crack in his features or a statue finally changing it's features "Because everyone Even you should Experience the world". He looked back at the Water "Promise to bring her back someday, but you ought to let her grow some too" He was speaking to the Spirits "Never know what she might come back with" He turned to look at her "But its not my choice to make, He waved his hand a Horse Rose from the sand like it had broken from a Grave, All Along he could have just ridden across the Desert on his Etheral Steed of which he climbed onto and he turned to look at her "You called to me After all".
Haydeh - Today at 2:10 PM
She laughed softly, strangely pleased to discover she hadn't had the upper hand all along. Her steps carried her to the ghostly horse's side and she tipped her head up to speak to him.
"Perhaps I wanted to see how I would be judged."
She reached out and took his hand, gently turning it up before dropping a few grains of sand into his palm. "You are persuasive. I will be watching you, Judge. And you may call to me at any time using a single grain of sand. But caution," she warned, closing his fingers over the grains. "Guard those grains of sand as I guard the Oasis, for when the last one is gone no more will follow. Those are meant only for you, I will be as upset as the spirits if I should answer and find you have given guardianship to someone else."
Judge - Today at 2:17 PM
he smirked his helmet flew from it's spot in the sand on it's own and covered his features he gripped the grains of sand and when he had opened his hand they were gone his cape fluttered "And if the Oasis ever need's Defending he'd reach down unbuckling one of his two Swords he dropped it the Sword hovered for a moment then flew planting it with the confines of the Oasis "Pull it from its Resting and Speak the name Hrotti" The Sword Froze itself in place cool unending Ice in the middle of the Desert however it did not freeze the Pool of water. He steered the horse away from the Oasis it's hooves left no mark and he rode off another object left behind was the Satchel he had been carrying in it was a creature she had never seen before an Owlkitten like her scarab it would keep her strong.
Haydeh - Today at 2:22 PM
She watched him gallop off with a broad smile, absolutely certain she would be seeing the Judge again. A bundle wiggled within the satchel and she chuckled as she walked over to let the strange creature free. The sword of ice lay like a glistening center piece in the middle of the spring, and occasionally he would sense her touch upon the blade, just a brush of the metal like a faint greeting in the back of his mind.
(OOC: Haydeh acquires owl kitten familiar and Judge's sword - sword summons/notifies Judge when withdrawn in tandem with the incantation "Hrotti.")
