At this point Angle had not woken up. She was in a clearing with a hunter who had got a fire going and had her bundled to keep her warm. Gwen had joined them, having found the child and returned to find her with the hunter. She had discovered through the use of her magic that the child's spirit was wandering. Orin had left to go get help and was on his way back with Hotaru and Wulv to see what more help he could give to his friend. SW_W_SM@gwencat@angelique@darla |

Wulv made their way through the woods with Orin to go find this angel, though they still did not have a full grasp of the situation. For one thing they didn't realize angel was a name and not a description; though to be fair coming from Orin it might have been either. Wulv only sort of half understood the boy as it was anyway, but seemed to have a greater tolerance for him than some people. Orin was different but he was trying and that was what Wulv admired, the boy at least tried to socialize and understand. But life was not easy.
"So how long as this angel been out? and How much longer till we reach the destination?" Wulv asked.

Hotaru murmurs as her tails swirl about "I think she might be with Gwen, at least gwen seems to have found a child." she sounds just a bit on edge "Shouldn't be too much further."
Gwen meanwhile is muttering to herself as she sorts through the plants she had returned with "Roots, shoots, and blooms..."

Orin stayed with Wulv, getting a piggy back ride on the mans back as Hotaru led them to where Angel was still fast asleep. when thy got there he jumped down from Wulv's back and went over to Gwen "Didi you figure out what's wrong with Angel?" he asked her. Looking and seeing the other child was gone and frowning a bit. "I guess Appolyn went home" he frowned as he had hoped they could all have fun together. Angelique |

Was trapped within a world of echos and purple smoke. She had tried to escape but went no where. A blank canvas and no paint. She was unaware of what was happening in the waking world. She knew nothing of the dreaming. She was scared. Alone. Lost... "Momma..."She whimpered as she curled into a ball. "They....dont want me..." She spoke, blinking "Yes they do....they will find me..." Was she talking to herself? The flower she tried to pick in innocent, was a Dream Flower. Beautiful but deadly. It poison pulls away the conscious, sending their body into a coma that they will never seem to wake up from. The plant, had long been thought to be extinct. But apparently that wasn't the case anymore |

Wulv came up to the scene and looked the child over, certainly not an angel, at least not in the form Wulv would have thought. Of course in a way all children were angels... well not all children... well not even close to all children.
Wulv knelt by the child "Angel, can you hear me?" Their gaze turned to Gwen who had apparently been keeping a close eye on the child.
"Any idea what illness or spell has befallen this lass?" Though they were almost certain that if Gwen knew the child would have been cured by now.
"Hotaru Orin any ideas what happened or what has taken hold of her?" They asked them as well as Hotaru's magic was of a special nature and might have been able to have picked up on the energies and Orin may have witnessed something, though who knew for certain.
"Perhaps Orin you should find this Apollyn, maybe she knows something."

Gwen looks up at Wulv momentary confusion spreading across her currently much more adult features before they settle into a frown of concern "I think she was poisoned, her finger had a prick on it and there are a variety of poisons that can accomplish something similar to this." (Though gwen could normally tell the poison/plant because of her skills and abilities don't want to assume she can if Angel wants it to be mysterious) She continues after a long pause focusing on Orin "Her spirit seems to have wandered from her body, which presents the usual problems in retrieval. She would wish to return to you would she not?"
Hotaru watches Gwen with a strange look on her face, a mixture of uncertainty and discomfort.

Orin looked to Wulv at his question about the other girl Apollyn. "no She was with me at the time and we both found her like this. This flower was next to her if that helps any?" He said, giving Gwen the dream flower to look at. H looked to Gwen next and shrugged at her question of angel wanting to return to him. "I don't know if she would. " He admitted. "I will try to call for her" he suggested and then would start to call to the sleeping girl "Angel!!! Angel!! Wake up!" he would say to the sleeping girl, not sure if it would work. Angelique |

The voice.....its sounded distant...."Angel!!! Angel!! Wake up!" . Her head in the dream lifted off her knees. "Orin?!" she called out in her dream. Her voice echoed. His voice...sounded so far away. "Wake up?" she whimpered "I...I can't....I..." she began to cry. "ORIN Get me out of here!?" she didn't know if he would hear her, possibly not.
Her body in the real world stayed still. Not even a movement from her eyes as her body just laid there.

Wulv looked at the flower then back to Gwen. "Roses," they muttered to themselves under their breath. It was related thought and yet would probably baffle most. They gave Orin a pat "Keep at it."
Wulv then moved to Gwen "If I bring you some ingredients do you think you can create a potion to help her out? Of course you can. Do you know the spectral roses well?" Wulv asked, it was one of three rose types they had worked on cultivating in the land.
Wulv then looked to Hotaru. "Should you or I go gather her things though. Your magic is powerful and may aid here should something go awry."

Gwen looks down at the flower and sniffs it softly a moment considering the question "Yes I believe I can make something to help if you could bring me a few things. That plus what I have gathered ought to do the trick."
Hotaru frowns softly "I should go and gather things I think, I will be more useful away."

Orni nodded as Wulv told them to continue calling to the girl and while he felt weird just calling her name what else could he do? So He would shout louder "ANGEL! IT"S ORIN! WAKE UP ANGEL!" he shouted as loud as he could.

She heard everything Orin said. Only Orin's words got through. "ORIN!" she cried out as loud as she could. Standing up in the purple mist. "Where are you?!" She began to run, trying to find him. His voice was everywhere. It was hard to tell where it came from.
Her form laid as it had in the real world. A tear ran down from her left eye and down her cheek.

Wulv watched the body and the tear fall acknowledging Hotaru before she left and Gwen.
"I knew you could." They turned back to Angel and Orin and bent down gazing at the tear. "How odd. Perhaps if the first potion doesn't work to aid, maybe you can create an antidote from the plant that did poison her. But I have a feeling we may need to enter the dream state."
Wulv took a deep breath beginning to focus their energies just in case it came to it.

Wulv offered a soft smile to Orin to hopefully ease the boy's worry and pain.
"She may have slipped into an unconscious world that she needs guidance from. If that is the case she will need a familiar face to save her. But I want the potion in her first to hopefully either reverse the affects of the poison of the flower or slow it enough to where I think it safe to do so."

Gwen settles back to sit beside angel as she waits for her mate to return. Picking up the collected herbs one at a time she seems to be singing to them, using her fae magic to enhance the properties of each. The first couple flash brightly and continue glowing long after as she grimaces and mutters "Too much, no need to use so much."

Voices. She could hear voices. "Orin?! Momma?!" She looked up to the sky which now had stars. "Thats new...." she blinked softly in the dream. Grass appeared beneath her, but the purple smokey haze lingered. She could vaguely hear them all. They seemed far away. She heard Gwen's song. "Where...is that music coming from." she wondered as she got up. As she walked, a small village appeared. It was empty besides her. "I...I know this place..." she spoke softly to herself. "But where..."

Wulv stroked Gwen and gave her a gentle warming touch. "It is alright Gwen, a little at a time." After a moment they strolled back over to Angel and placed a gentle touch on the child whispering to the child. "Hurry on home child, hurry home Angel, you have many here who miss you and long for you to come home."

Gwen continues singing to her herbs making them glow briefly and pulls out a small alcohol burner filling it from a flask and settling a kettle atop it. She pulls out a mortar and pestle and sets to work grinding herbs up and adding them to a series of small metal cups.

The singing grew louder. She heard it clearly. What she saw rippled as it distorted "Momma?!" She called out as she felt herself being lifted. Up and out. In the waking world he gasped. Eyes opening up as she looked about in confusion. She saw Orin there, calling to her. Gwen was singing and Wulv was doing something. She didn't know...
"O...Orin?" she panted. "What...What happened?" she looked about them. She had woken up finally. Whatever they did worked.

WUlv smiled finishing stroking Angel's hair. "There child, there, calm yourself, Gwen will have a potion for you soon enough to help you regain more of your strength. You ahd your friend worried there for a bit." They gave a pat to Orin.
"I owe you as many rats as you can carry when we get back to Night Haven, if you want them that is."

Gwen looks surprised when the child wakes and speaks having been so caught up in her work "Oh yes, potion for you child." a soft smile and she rapidly combines the enhanced herbs before handing over the vessel

Orin smiled as Angle finally woke up and hugged his friend “oh Angle! I was so scared.” he breathed. “you fell asleep and wouldn’t wake up. It was all the fault of the flowers” he told her, then looked to Wulv as they offered them rats “really?” he asked with excitement, even though he did not feed on rats anymore he still seems to want them. “thank you wulv and Hot for helping me an my friend” he smiled.”Come on Angel lets go get you something to eat” he said, helping her up and walking off with his friend.
With that we end this story.
