Before Tyr rose as God of Evil long before The McArthers left, Pendragon created a business in the capital, selling his creations to the common people. This included Bathtubs, sinks, showers, cold boxes and many other various household items, all made feasible through the use of Runic magics inscribed into them at key places.
He included other things, Potions, enchanted weapons and armors, Charms, and books of all sorts. His goal was to make a store where you could go to get anything magical you needed. After some deliberation he came up with the perfect name for it as well, The McArther Goods, Items and Commodities Store, or in short The M.A.G.I.C. Store.
The building looked fairly simple, a standard shop in the front with a slightly larger building behind it. The larger building though was a factory using runes to make the space more compact. It looked no bigger than a standard house outside, but inside there were hundreds of workstations, runic craftsmen, alchemists and enchanters working on filling out orders not only for the shop in front but for any orders received across Tyran.
In the center sat Pendragons office, where he would go to keep things in order and give instructions to the craftsmen on new enchantments and potions he had created. All were protected under a finely written contract, if broken not only would the craftsman be cursed into death but sop would whoever he revealed the information too.
If someone tried to recreate the runes on the household merchandise they would find difficulty as many protections had gone into their creation. From requiring a specific type of ink handcrafted by Pen, to the timed placement of runes. For example, some runes were actually three separate runes laid over each other, and if not placed correctly could lead to explosive results. A final precaution was the workstation themselves had enchantments over them which were required for creation of certain products, without which would cause the crafter to be cursed, or blown up as previously mentioned.
When the McArthers left, Pen placed Jason Brood as the new CEO of The MAGIC Store. Brood watches over things carefully and follows Pendragons instructions of how the proceeds are to be divided. When a crafstmen is caught trying to sell company secrets, having found any loophole in their contract, Brood rewrites the contracts to close said loophole and the craftsman in question winds up as somethings dinner. The workers are treated very well otherwise, only the truly greedy ones are the ones that cause trouble.
Prices are kept as low as they can to still turn a decent profit and Brood has set up a fund for the truly needy to be able to get life saving products, such as potions to heal those who will die without them. There is a test though for people that apply to the fund, to keep moochers and con artists away.
The interior of the store is small with all the products in it but big enough people can move about without much issue. It can only hold at most 10 customers at a time, but it was planned that way to increase customers without having to increase numbers of cashiers. In this way the store rarely is not full and people have come for the reputation of it being a matter of timing to get into it. Brood plans to expand the store a bit but thinks for the time being it will be fine.
