((((OOC NOTE-
People are welcome to join this SL as random Humans and half Elves from in the town or as tutors from outside the town come by to train Coby how to be a lady. However you much ask either Sune or Coby if it is ok to join in first and come to them with your ideas.
The town you are in is a very small town, with just one of each a general store, church, school, clothing store, blacksmith, stables, tavern/inn and a single town hall.
the house Coby is in is just outside of town on top of a hill and looks like this from the outside:

No god moding
When posting in chat please stay in post order.
Do not ignore each others post no mater the size of post.
If you must leave then do your best to end the scene or have your character remove themselves.
When going afk or away for a short time please let others know in the OOC room.

[Lynn] a slender girl scampers from wall to wall as she makes her way to the house, looking about furtively with green alert eyes as if avoiding someone or something. Her face has angular features more at home on elf than human, but the twist of untidy red hair at the nape of her neck is a color almost never seen on any full-blooded elf, and the ears lack the more extreme point her mother must have had. She whispers to herself "The great thief lynx has almost avoided the great dragon's guards. All she has to do is drop of the secret potion with the benefactor and she can slip away, rich beyond her wildest dreams." another dash takes her to the door of the house and she raises the knocker before thudding it three times, then twice, then three more in a pattern only known to her as part of her little game.
there was a knock at the door and she used her crutches to hop over to it, opening it up. She saw a girl on the other side and smiled. "Hi"
[Lynn] smiles back and waves a moment forgetting her game in the face of a another girl then she looks serious "Is anyone watching from the street? Is it safe?" she is clutching a small satchel in her other hand knuckles white from the force as she hasn't dared relax her grip on it
shook her head no, "No one is watching" those soft brown eyes moved to the satchel then back to the girls face, She moved out of the way, "Would you like to come in?"
[Lynn] nods and darts into the room and then holds out the satchel "You for...umm." she darts her eyes around "I got the potion from the great dragon's tower."
blinks a couple of times as she hears the girl then catches on that the girl was playing a game. "Oh thank you so much. I don't think I ever would have gotten past that dragon and I desperately needed this potion"
[Lynn] flashes a bright excited smile at Coby "You are welcome." then she clears her throat "Umm I mean of course, you hired me after all. And the great thief Lynx always delivers."

She had left the new mistress to her own devices as she left to go clean the house, dusting the various rooms. She did hear the knock on the door but ignored it as that was Ken's department to worry about. She was just here to keep things clean and keep them all fed. Hearing voices bellow though she got a bit worried and went to look for the man. She herself was a tall woman at 6'6" but also large in size. She had long black hair don up in a bun to help keep it clean and out of the way. She wore black head to foot with a white cap to cover her hair. Brown eyes searching for the man she worked with "ken...KEN!" she hollered.
"I got it, I go-" Ken started to grumble as he rounded the corner, adjusting his monocle and brushing his suit down to catch any wrinkles along his belly before he got the door. However as he entered the lobby it would seem the door was already answered by Coby. He gave Coby a stern look as he approached the girl, his green eyes darting between the two girls. "Ahem." He cleared his throat, announcing his presence in the room as he darted towards the new girl across from Coby. "May I help you?" He asked, doing his best to cross his arms behind his back, causing his black suit to stretch across his belly.
looked to Ken like oh shyt, she didn't want to get thrown into the dungeon. She looked down then over to the girl, "I think she has my medicine"
[Lynn] looks at the man a bit afraid too, in fact she flinches as if expecting a blow and holds the satchel out to Ken now "Y-yes I brought this, it was left at the tavern. I was asked to, and told I would..." her voice gets very small and quiet "get a coin for the delivery."
She heard Ken calling out and smiled to herself, humming as she went back to doing the dusting and now humming a little ditty to herself. Being employed by a vampire was turning out to not be that bad of a position.
Ken sniffed, twitching his moustache as he assessed the situation as he looked over the girl. He reached forward, taking the satchel from the girl and looking to Coby before back at the delivery girl. His expression was unchanged and his eyes stayed on the girl as he poped open the satchel, looking down after a moment to eyeball the contents of the bag.

Ken would indeed find vials of blue potions, labeled as pain killers. Coby looks to Ken, almost in tears now. Her eyes look to the satchel then down to her broken ankle. She uses the crutches to back away some.
[Lynn] fidgets a bit feeling more than a bit scruffy in the presence of the proper little man, in a way that the girl's open friendliness had not triggered in her. She inches her hand out palm up not wanting to cause a blow from the man, but also not wanting to leave without payment.
Finished dusting she sett about tidying the beds and making sure each was nice and neat before going to grab a broom and starting to sweep. She swept her way into the lobby and saw the man with the two girls "oh my!" she exclaimed "is that a friend of yours Coby?" she asked the child, looking to Ken and trying to assessing his mood.
Ken looked over the vials of pain killers, raising a brow before closing the satchel as Jill entered the room. He turned his head slightly, acknowledging Jill had entered the room before looking back to the girl in the lobby as he spoke. "She is delivering a package for the young miss." He said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out not one but two shiny coins, placing them into her palm. His expression turned from the stern look it had been to a warmer smile. "Thank you for your services." He said, looking back to Coby. "Does your friend intend to stay long miss Coby?" He asked, crossing his arms behind his back once again, the satchel hanging from his hand behind him.

[Lynn] beams at the payment and slips the coins into an inner pocket of her clothing "Oh I cannot stay sir. I gotta get home or my papa will thrash me for being late. But I can come back tomorrow maybe?" she sound s very hopeful on that last note
head turns towards Jill as she hears her question. She looks to Jill, then to Ken, then back to the girl. She gulped and said, "Its the girl from the Tavern, she was supposed to bring me my medicine." she lifted her crutch to point towards the satchel Ken was holding
Ken listened to Coby explaining who the girl was and then turned back to the girl in the lobby with a smile when she asked if she could come by tomorrow. "I don't see why not young lady. It would be a welcome change for this empty house." He said with a smile, catching the door as the girl left. He closed the door behind her before crossing his arms behind hims back once again and turned to Coby. He approached Coby, once again revealing the satchel in his hand from behind his back and pulling out one of the vials.
He held it up and adjusted his monocle, examining it and rereading the label before looking down to Coby, handing her the vial in his hand. "It seems to be all in order." He said, his origional stern facade had all but melted away into a kinder man as he smiled warmly to Coby.
The woman nodded and came down to take the satchel from Ken "Very well " she said. "you can come back and visit at lunch time tomorrow." she told Lynn and waved as the girl turned to take off again. "I will be putting this in a safe place and coming to give it to you during meals" she said and turned to walk off
frowned as Jill took the satchel away, what if she ended up in pain when it wasn't meal time? she reached for the vial that Ken held out to her She took her pain medicine and handed him back the vial. "Thank you" she looked around and gripped the handle of the bag she was holding tighter. She looked back to Ken, "So. Um, where is my room?" she wondered

Ken smiled to Coby and gave her a nod. "Yes of course. I will show you to your room young miss." He said, walking past her and towards the staircase. He stood off to the side, pointing up the stairs with his arm outstretched while his other arm stayed behind his back. "This way young miss. Your room will be on the third floor." He said, waiting for Coby to walk up the stairs first before he followed.
She took the satchel and locked it up in the kitchen, keeping the key safe on a chain about her neck “there now safe and sound” she said to herself going to get the broom again and returning to sweeping the house and singing.
placed her crutches out in front of her then hopped towards them, she did that all the way to the stairs. When they got to the stairs, he told her that her room was on the third floor and she looked to all the stairs and let out a sigh while nodding her head she could go about this one of two ways. She took both her crutches and placed them on the first step. Using the railing and her crutches, she managed to hop up the stairs.
Ken placed his hand gently on Coby's back for a moment to reassure her he was there as they walked up the stairs slowly. It took them a while but they finally reached the third floor, Ken waiting for her to catch her footing before he moved ahead of her and lead her down the hall to a side room.
He opened the door, revealing a decent sized room. The room was bare save for a dresser, a desk with a mirror and a small bed in the corner. She had one window in her room that looked out towards the town, the branches of a old tree loomed across the bedroom window like crooked outstretched arms. The shadows of the tree branches could make for some decent nightmare fuel.
"This will be your room Miss Coby. Feel free to fill the room if you have any belongings you might get during your stay. Nothing permanent mind you. If you have any pictures you wish to hang you can call for me and I will hang them for you. I will give you some time to get accommodated with your new room. He said, standing at the door as if to block her in once she had entered.
made it to the top finally and she became exhausted. Her head turned and she looked to ken, "thank you" she simply said. She headed down the hall with a yawn. A little ways down, they made it to the room she was to stay in. She entered inside of it then turned around to see Ken blocking the room some how for no reason. She looked confused. she thought she could come and go as she pleased. Not wanting to anger anyone, she moved to the bed and laid down on it
Ken smiled to her and nodded his head. "Well I will leave you to it then." He said, closing the door gently behind him to kiss the door frame but not all the way. With that he brushed down his jacket and walked down the hallways, off to take care of some other business as Coby got comfortable in her new room. He smiled as he reached the staircase, taking out a coin from his breast pocket and flipped it in the air before looking over it, he adjusted his monocle before slipping the coin back in his pocket with a good tap, descending down the stairs once more.

OOC NOTE 2:
At this point I would like to welcome people to join in if they like and have gotten permission from either Coby or I. You can Join in either as a random member of the town Coby now finds herself in which would make you either a human or a half elf. Or you can make up your own character and play as someone just passing through.
If you want to play in room that is fine, I just ask that at least one person from the group post to this thread with the logs so I know what's going on or at the very least a small summary of the play that took place.
you do not have to become a permanent fixture if you only have time for a few posts before you go then do what you can and have fun, just be sure to follow the rules mentioned in the first post of this thread.
If you are interested in being more active on the forums then you can use the tag #TML in your subject line to start your own thread.
Some suggestions for rolls include tutors for Coby in the various areas such as fighting, cooking, dancing, sining and all other things required to be a lady.
Please feel free to approach us with any question you might have o SL ideas you want to add in.
