Here is easy reference to the next part of the coronation event, which was posted in that thread. Since its buried a bit, I also wanted to put it here for you to read easier. THIS post will be closed. Please put your reply in the same event thread we've already been using. Thank you!
"Thank you, and congratulations to you both-" she was saying to Wulv when there was a sudden explosion sound in the court which made her rise to her feet quickly and look around for the source. ---Part 2 Continues--- -The Game- Everyone that had remained to enjoy the ball would also hear the explosion, and yet it seemed as if nothing had broken or blown up. It was almost like a loud crack of thunder, yet it wasn't. "Quickly, go see what that was!" she said to the guards around her, one remaining by her side for her own protection despite her orders. "Excuse me," she said to her guests at the table as she rushed away to investigate things herself. "We're locked in!!" someone yelled from the top of the stares at the main entrance. "Over here is locked too..." yelled someone from the opposite end as a servant had tried to get through the doors Protea used earlier to change into her gown. It seemed everyone present was now trapped inside the ballroom. "What is the meaning of this Queen Protea?" another suddenly said to her, wondering if this was her doing. ~Great, just what I need right now~ she thought to herself. "What is wrong with my magic?" a man near the door asked. Apparently as he described it, he was doing what he could to try to teleport out and something had blocked him. "Mine too", "Oh my goodness!", "I'm scared!" People were starting to panic. "Everyone, please remain calm while we try to figure out what is going on!" Just then, Protea appeared to glow a bright blue, her coral eyes also lighting up and she raised off the ground. "Your majesty!!" the servants below yelled in fear up at her. A voice not her own emitted from her now, booming and loud enough for all to hear. "It seems that I was not invited to this little party of yours, Queen Protea. So, I decided to join you on my own instead. It seems not everyone here understands you, some possibly even wanting your head. Lets play a game..." a magical wave shout out from Protea's body and the entire room began to glow. "Here are the rules of my game. None of you may leave, not until I've had my fun. You'll be given three chances to go, and we've only just begun. Make the right choice, and you'll be able to go free. Make the wrong choice, and you'll be staying here with me..." the man's voice chuckled a bit. "Hint number one, as we begin our fun:"
There are three, but only one grants you safety. If you wish to be safe, choose the right door. If you wish to die, choose the wrong one. One choice, one direction, one color, one door. If you find the clue in my words, you will make it to the next room. Choose wisely. The key to safety is in your hands. A loud laughter was heard before Protea was suddenly dropped from high with no care for her safety. Luckily someone below caught the Queen however, but she was now unconscious. Her body was glowing, just like the room, but it seemed that noone could wake her. -Round 1- Three of the doors in the room suddenly changed color and a 'click' sound could be heard, indicating these doors were now unlocked. Choice 1: The blue door to the south of the room was the entrance/exit of the ballroom, where everyone had made their entrances from the outside. It sizzled and cracked with what seemed to be a kind of lightning type magic, humming dangerously loud whenever someone got too close. Choice 2: The red door to the north of the room was the one that the Queen had used earlier to leave and return during the coronation, so it seemed that room connected somehow to the Queen's chambers. It was glowing red and orange and seemed like if you touched it, flames out lick out and burn you. Choice 3: The silver door to the east of the room was over by the stage where the bards had been playing. It seemed to be a servants entrance, where the servants and guards had come from to refresh the food, drink, and supplies at the party. It looked like liquid, as if it could swallow and drown you whole if you tried to go through it. --You're free to RP things out, but each of you must also choose which door to go through at the end of your post. There are vague hints in the riddle, but as I said earlier, nothing is quite what it seems. Work together, work alone... its all up to you. Once everyone has chosen a door, I will announce who if anyone got it right, and we will do the next part. Those who get it wrong will get a second chance to survive, but if you fail again... well, you'll find out!-- --Rules/Guide-- - No one's magic is working. It doesn't seem to be cut off, just restrained. So teleporting, shadow walking, healing, etc. is not working. This includes magical items.
- Attempts to destroy the building to escape are futile. A magic barrier is protecting everything but the glowing doors.
Don't rely on Monet for hints... I've decided to leave her fate in the hands of the majority. She'll follow the largest group into whatever door they choose. That way I have her involved, but she wont be making decisions on her own, since I already know the answers.
There is also a hidden key somewhere within these challenges that will grant everyone safety if someone figures out what to do with it.
The next part begins when everyone has made their choice, or by Aug 5th with those having not posted losing their chance and being grouped with the ones who made the 'wrong' decision. NPC's will be making the same choice as their played character... no separating them, for simplicity's sake. The event is now closed to new entries as well, sorry!

It seemed that everyone decided to make the same choice and have the same fate. The creature watched in secret as some went to the silver door without hesitation, while others analyzed the riddle and doors further before also deciding that silver was the proper choice for them. When the room was empty, there was nothing but silence for a moment. Suddenly... Everyone safely appeared in the next room. "Well done, well done... of course we all know the first part of games are the easiest. You know, to encourage you and give you confidence. None of you used the key however." There was a hissing laugh from the shadows. The voice no longer came from Protea who was still unconscious. "I think I went too easy on you all before. So now... we're going to play a new game." The room still had the barrier along the walls and everyone's magic was still repressed (not gone, just restricted) so that they could not use their magic to escape. This time there were no doors however, or windows. It could cause some to feel a bit claustrophobic with so many people in a room with no way out. The silver door behind them had vanished, so turning back was also not an option. "Ladies and gentleman, I present you with some more choices. This time, you get to know the outcome however... your fate is in your own hands now." As he said that, a long table appeared with several chalices filled with liquid. They were in three separate groups, and were bronze, silver, and gold. "No trick this time my lovelies... this will be just what I tell you it is." Another chuckle. "Here are the rules of this game. The first four cups of bronze, hold a liquid that will allow those who drink it to escape from here safely. I assure you its no lie. I may have given you a riddle before, but my words were still true. The second group of four cups, gold, hold a liquid poison that must be drank or the potion that allows the others to escape will not work. The rest of the cups in the middle, in silver, are potions that will allow you to carry on to the next and final game safely. I leave it up to all of you to decide who shall drink which cup... good luck." With that the room went silent again. Game Rules Simple rule: Everyone must drink one cup. If someone chooses not to drink... everyone will be trapped in this room with no escape. Extra Details: -If someone chooses to force someone to drink a cup and they resist, you will both need to come to me and roll the dice in the event room. Roll d10, whoever rolls higher succeeds. Tie is reroll. This also applies to anyone stealing a cup from another person. -If someone empties a cup without drinking it, it will magically just refill with the emptied contents vanishing. Only when the fluid in that cup is drank will it remain empty. -If one person tries to drink more than one cup, the liquid will vanish upon trying to drink any after the first. Thus, one person cannot drink more than one. -The person with safety will feel a magical ability to teleport out when they are ready. (Thus, you can drink it and still RP a while before leaving if you choose.) -I will reveal about the poison after they are consumed and we're moving onto the next game. -One or more people may 'guard' the cups until everyone has made their decision, if they choose to. If this is the case, those people will then have to hand out the cups after everyone has decided. -For this game, I'll allow the NPC's mentioned up to this point IF they are actual played characters (Zephyr for example) to count separately. Please don't include NPC's though that are not actual characters you play yourself. Thank you.4 are potions of safety (no trick), 4 are potions of poison, and the rest are potions of transportation which will let people go to the next room (they will see a door appear for them after drinking it, that only they can see and walk through.) Note: Anyone who completes these games to the end without consequence (no poison for example) will earn the MVP badge. Anyone who leaves early (taking the safety potion) grants them safety but they wont be eligible for the badge. If the key is used, everyone gets safety, and only the person who figured out the key gets the MVP badge.

3 Gold/Poison Left, held by Cairo, Isaac, and Rita if people don't fight them on it. 3 Bronze/Safety Left, one forced down the Queen's throat by Vici. The other three being suggested for Wulv, Sune and Ellina for their pregnancies. Will anyone contest it? Once those are gone, everyone else will be stuck with the silver.

The voice snickered and chuckled from the void at the people, mocking their plight. "Time is ticking..." he hissed in glee. "Do you sacrifice some for the rest? Or do you risk all while you try to figure out the key. Since you all have been such an enjoyment in this game for me, I'll give you one last hint. The key to safety is still in your hands, but now only held by one." If anyone was looking at the table, they would have seen for a moment an intangible figure (think Dobby from Harry Potter, mixed with a Goblin from World of Warcraft) sitting on the table with a wicked grin, laughing with his hands on his stomach before he faded away again.

Before anyone knew what happened, there was another loud explosion sound like when this whole thing started. The glow of the room vanished and they were standing in the servant chambers of the Blackthorn castle, and all the goblets were empty of their liquid. Raelle had felt a lot of gnawing pain in her gut for a brief moment and then... it was gone, and she was perfectly fine.
The goblin roared with laughter at them unseen somewhere in the above space of the room. "Thank you for playing folks. Sadly you figured out the key and won my game... so I keep my word, you are all safe. I promise you though, I will be seeing you all again in the future. Oh, and that "poison" you were all clambering to martyr yourselves for? It was just a potion that would have turned you into the opposite gender and teleported you out of here like the safe potion. It was fun to see you agonize over the idea that it might kill you though. I never did say that poison would cause death... hehehehe!" with the giggles fading, the creature was gone. Noone knew who or what it was, or where it had gone.
Protea suddenly stirred, and her eyes opened and blinked a few times as she looked around in utter confusion. "What the- what's going on?" she asked a bit weakly, but she could actually feel strength returning to her slowly. It seems that she was unconscious due to the suppression of magic. Being a magical creature, it had made her too weak to even stay conscious once the magic was nearly gone.
She noticed her crown smashed on the ground over by the General, and Raelle looking very unhappy. Monet was in the corner with some man, Sune and Wulv were huddled together holding cups. Why were there so many cups around? "Please, someone explain to me what just happened here??"
-Event Success-Congratulations everyone, you all made it through the event alive. The key was the crown, and as long as it was intact and in the vicinity... it would continue to keep you trapped. Ways it could have been solved were killing the Queen and breaking the magic connection to the crown, making the Queen escape WITH the crown by the potion thus breaking the connection of the castle and the crown, or... breaking the crown.
If the Queen had been left in the first room, you would have lost access to the key.
More details of the event to be posted for those that were curious. Good job, and thank you for participating!
You can continue the storyline here or in chat if you wish, but you are no longer trapped and no one died from the poison.

Coronation Event Details and Conclusion (SPOILERS! If you want to read through the entire event before knowing the answers/details, don't read this until you are ready!!) Thanks for playing guys! First off I'd like to say, this was my first real DM/GM leading type event here. I was a bit nervous to do it, but I'm really glad several of you had been telling me that you were enjoying it as it went on. I know at some points it got slow or frustrating, but I appreciate that you hung in there and kept doing. I had a TON of fun doing this, which means... I definitely don't mind running some more in the future. I learned a lot from this one too, so that things can go a little smoother next time! Now to give you a bit of insight and some answers into different parts of this event. At the start, the "unknown creature" who will remain unknown for now since he's still alive because he might show up again in the future, had cast a spell out of spite and jealousy on Queen Protea for not being directly invited to the coronation event. The initial thunder sound was when he triggered the spell and connected it to the Queen and crown. As a creature of chaos and havoc, he decided he wanted to play a game with the Queen's people as a way to punish them all for her mistake of not including him. The barrier, the same color as the glow on Queen Protea, was what had restrained the magic throughout the castle. Anyone on the outside wouldn't have been able to get in, and no one on the inside could get out. On an OOC note, the reason I reduced/restrained the magic instead of remove it was because I didn't want to kill the magic creatures present... which included Protea and Vici. IF someone had thrown the crown at the blue wall by the way... it would have exploded and broke the spell. Any other objects as some found out though would just bounce off unharmed (because they weren't glowing/tied to the spell.) And yes, if you threw the Queen against the wall... same result, LOL. So Raelle was onto something when she initially thought to kill the Queen. Though it wasn't the Queen's fault this was happening... lol. The doors... I admit that riddle was pulled from my ass. I literally sat down, wrote the first things that came to mind, and went with it. I didn't plan it out for days ahead of time or anything. So I apologize if any of it was unclear, haha. I did have to kind of edit and adjust along the way to keep things as they should be, but I based it all off that riddle and the spell.
So 'there are three but only one grants you safety' ... the 3 doors. 'if you wish to be safe, choose the right door' ... blatant clue about going "right" aka east. 'one color' wasn't actually an intended clue, but I like that some of you picked up on the fact one of the doors was more than one color and ruled it out. And finally... 'they key to safety is in your hands' followed up by Protea being caught as she fell, which the creature knew would happen. From the start, that was the clue to the key... Protea and the crown was in your guys's hands the whole time. If Laelia (or anyone else) hadn't brought the Queen along, you would have lost access to the key. Those who didn't post in time (Jacob and Krixia) were going to get punishment the same as choosing the wrong door. Jacob posted on the 5th, but since everyone had chosen silver, I gave him a break and let him follow the rest and continue on. Krixia however, if the key hadn't been used, would have been punished. So what was the punishment of the wrong door? Picking either wrong door, was going to transmute you into a random animal (rolled by my dice) and teleport you into the lake by the tavern. It would have lasted minimum 2 days, but I would have let you continue the RP further if you wished to (because it might be fun to have to play as a random animal for a while.) The next room, the poison as I explained, was not really "poison" at all. It was a potion of chaos. Now honestly, OOC I hadn't made up my mind yet if that poison would just change your gender, or if I was going to give you pink bunny ears, green tenticle beards, and hooves. Again it would have only lasted a couple days. Then you would have been teleported after the transition, out of the castle and teleport to safety with the other "safe" people just outside the gate of the castle. So those who drank the silver cup would have to continue on alone. And yes... I genuinely left Protea and Monet's fate in your hands. Monet could have been forced to drink the poison, and she also would have followed the 'majority' of people into the wrong door. Since you figured out the key, you didn't have to go to the third room/game. In the next room, you would have faced off against the "creature" that started all this. He wasn't going to fight you... but I suspect some of you may have tried to attack him, so I was prepared for that too. He was going to explain a little of his reasoning behind this game, and then force you to guess his name in order to escape. (Think Rumpelstiltskin kind of.) Or you could kill him and it would have broke the spell too. His name, race, and origin would have been revealed in the third room. However... as I said, since you guys didn't get in there, I'm going to hold him for another day in the future So hold onto that hate! I also never intended to actually kill anyone in this event because you guys got surprised by it. In the future, you'll have forewarning that an event could be dangerous, so that you can enter your characters with the knowledge of the risk. But yes, since you had this one sprung on you unexpectedly, no one would have died. Thanks again for participating. I hope everyone had fun and that these details help explain a few things for you. If you have more questions feel free to ask me when you see me. I'll use what I learned from this experience to smooth out the next event for even more fun and less frustration. Sorry for any mistakes you might have noticed in this one
