When Navaeh and Sedah returned to the People's Palace after their schooling, they would each find a note written in delicate script addressed to them and sitting on a table in their rooms.
Dear Navaeh and Sedah,
I do hope you've managed to recover somewhat after your harrowing ordeal with my son Victor in the Dark Wood. As Victor promised to you, I have arranged and outfitted an apartment for you in the city in a location convenient to both the Magisterium and the Rekkenmark Academy so that you both may continue your education.
Please come to see me after dinner. I would love to show you both your new home.

Sedah would enter his room after a long days training, every muscle aching as he nearly struggled to lift the sword off his back to lean against the wall where he usually had it. He wanted to just fall asleep for an age, thinking he might get a couple winks before dinner. It was when he flopped on the bed and looked up that he saw the note sitting on the table. he would blink, sitting up and scratching his head through shaggy blonde hair before standing up again with a grunt. He walked over to the table, picking up the note and reading it carefully. His eyes would widen in surprise as he read the words, speaking for him to meet Rosewyn with his sister after dinner. He smirked as he placed the note down, deciding to relax in a bath instead before dinner was served. Once Sedah was out and dressed he would relax on his bed before going for dinner, walking into the dinning hall to greet his sister and whomever else would join them for dinner.

After class, she had come into the room. As she went to put her school books on the table, there was a note there for her. Carefully she placed the books down as she read over the note. Their own apartment. Her dreams were coming true, as was everything that Trent had told her. First though, she had a date with Alky.
After their date, Alky would join her for dinner at the People's Palace. She walked into the dining hall hand in hand with him. A smile touching her lips as she saw her brother already inside. Hey Sedah, you remember Alky? She smirked slightly, thinking back to when they met the day before.

Alky would walk through the palace looking in amazement as he entered into the dining hall "hello Sedah its nice to see you again. Will others be joining or is it just us?" he asked curiously as he looked around on edge a bit he didn't really fit in here he wasn't even wearing decent clothing for this. He would look around at the dining hall "so do you eat every meal here?" he asked a bit jealous

Sedah looked around the dining hall, he was the first one there it would seem and he shrugged, walking towards the table. Before he could even think to sit down however he saw Navaeh walk in hand in hand with Alky. His first reaction was a smile, waving to her before his expression fell at the sight of Alky. Sedah would smile more however, saving face for the expression they both probably saw.
"Hey Navaeh..." He said as she greeted him, looking to Alky with a nod. "Alky." He reached his hand out to shake Alky's again, this time no strength test, just a normal hand shake. "Sorry, I wasn't expecting you to be bringing a guest. Do the Kaliba know?" He asked Navaeh, not sure if he should be worried that she invited a guest to dinner in the palace. He shook his head to Alky, addressing his question as well. "So far we are the only three on the dining hall. I don't know who else will be joining us if any. For all I know everyone else has had a separate dinner and eaten already." He joked with a chuckle, trying terribly not to make things awkward between the three of them.

Smiled to her brother as he said hi to her and Alky and shook Alky's hand. Sedah then asked her if the Kaliba knew that she invited a guest for dinner. Navaeh's eyes widened and she bit her lower lip. "Uhh... it slipped my mind to ask. We were having so much fun that I didn't want our date to end. Do you think they'll be upset with me?" she looked to him kind of worried. "Plus I wanted him to meet everybody and what a better way than over dinner?" she sighed deeply looking down. "I guess I have an apolgy to make when we meet with Lady Rosewynn after. I hope she isn't too upset with me and think I'm taking advantage of her hospitality."
Navaeh's look became a solemn one as her eyes began to water over. Since their time in the Dark Wood, her self confidence had started to grow in such a short time to the point where she began to think that not everything needed questioning. On this one thing though, perhaps she had overstepped. She knew Victor, though the torch she held for him burned strong, he was a Prince and Raylinn was a Princess so they would probably end up together, especially with how they acted towards one another. Alky, though he was not a Prince, he made Navaeh feel as if she were a Princess, therefore she wished his company as much as she could have it.

Alky had indeed caught the look and sighed as for it seemed that Sedah did not like him at all. However he shook his hand anyway "I'm sure the Kaliba won't mind and if they do I will leave. It is not as if I haven't dealt with this before." he said as he looked over to Navaeh "do not worry I'm sure it will be fine you didn't take advantage had they met me I am sure they would have liked me."
Alky had saw her eyes began to water and moved over to her putting his arm around her "it is okay I promise if anyone yells ill talk to them and calm them down." Alky was however concerned even though he didn't show it. he was afraid that if anyone confronted him in a aggressive manner he would have no course but to react aggressively. there was a flash of concern over his face

It wasn't until after dinner that Lady Rosewyn made her way into the hall. She had a private dinner with Victor and Verity every evening. Though they were all very busy, it was the one family event Rosewyn insisted upon every day. If her children were in the People's Palace, they would join their mother for dinner. That wasn't to say that the hall was empty. Many others filtered into the hall to eat and converse.
Not long after the trio had finished, a well-dressed woman with regal bearing swept into the hall. Blonde hair was pulled away from her face and styled fashionably. Sapphire clips held her hair in place. A gown of pale dove gray was accented by a mantle of deep royal blue which only seemed to make the colour of her eyes more vivid. Her eyes were warm and they settled upon each person that stood from their table to offer a bow. She greeted each one who addressed her, sparing a moment for them as if, even for a moment, they were the most important person in the room to her.
However, eventually her eyes searched until they found the brother and sister, along with their guest. A smile graced the Kaliba matriarch's face as she approached them Navaeh, Sedah and Alky. "Good evening." She said, gazing at the youth before her, though she looked no older than her late twenties or early thirties herself. To Rosewyn, they were children of similar age to her own youngest. It was difficult to see them as anything else.
"I am Rosewyn Kaliba." She said, introducing herself. "I apologize for not greeting you sooner. I have been recovering from poor health, I'm afraid. But I hope to rectify that now."

Sedah's expression would fall as she watched Navaeh's reaction to his question. It was not his intention to upset her, thinking the question itself was arbitrary in nature. He simply was curious about Alky's presence. He would frown to her, moving to console her however he was caught too late as Alky stepped in and left him standing there awkward and alienated. He would look about a moment before trying to usher the two to the table. "Well let's not worry about that okay? How about we sit down and get ready for dinner." He suggested in his attempt to change the subject.
Once everything moved along and the dinner had come and gone they would find themselves mingling again, perhaps talking about one thing or another or maybe Sedah would find himself standing awkwardly alone beside his sister and her boyfriend as Rosewyn approached them. Sedah watched as the nobles reacted to her, realizing quickly that she was important and coming to the conclusion that she was in fact Rosewyn as she moved to approached them specifically. His suspicions were only confirmed once she had introduced herself to the party.
As Rosewyn approached Sedah would turn and give her a bow, mostly to copy the noble's he had seen doing it before her approach. He would smile to her as he bowed, looking up and straightening his stance once he was finished. "It is a pleasure to meet you lady Rosewyn, I am Sedah." He would introduce himself before looking to his sister and her boyfriend for their introductions.

Alky wrapped an arm around her to comfort her. His words brought a smile to her lips. She sat to eat with Sedah and Alky then after dinner they would talk about different subjects. Mainly about school and training.
Lady Roeswyn appeared. She was stunning and beautiful. Navaeh watched how the nobles reacted, and when she approached and introduced herself, Navaeh would curtsy to her and await for her brother to introduce himself. After he was finished, Navaeh spoke, "Is it truely a pleasure to finally meet you. Thank you for everything you and your family have done for me and Sedah, if there is anything we could do to ever repay your family, please let us know." she then looked over at Alky then back to Lady Rosewyn, "I hope you don't mind, I was spending time with my boyfriend after school and I didn't want our time to end so quick, so I invited him for dinner. I hope that was alright. This is Alky" She bit her lower lip looking to Lady Rosewyn. The nervousness that she was feeling, apparent on her facial expressions.

Alky would smile and sit down as they began dinner talking about what he had done in school and his work as a blacksmith trainee. How much he had done in such little time. he spoke of his teachers and how proud they were of them.
When Rosewyn walked in he stood at attention and looked towards her as if he was in a army he made eye contact with her and bowed "lady Rosewyn it is a pleasure to meet you. though I do not wish to impede. If you insist I will go." he said after navaeh introduced him "I am sorry to hear of your health. I wish you good health and I shall pray for you" he said smiling moving closer to navaeh Not sure if Rosewyn was the type of woman who believed in that.
