Hroo had made their way back around to Western Tyran and
made their way to the outer gate of Night Haven staring up at the Wrought iron
which had been overran by many unique plants not native to Tyran. Hroo's eyes
gazed over each of them before he stepped forward to see one of the Neko guards
and he couldn't help but chuckle. "this is what they have guarding this
supposed sanctuary for creatures unknown? A tiny kitten with a stick? Excuse me
kitty but when you are done playing could you take me to your village's leader
I have a message for them."
the neko in black frowns at Hroo "Strange puppy."
she leans the glowing spear against the gate it is obviously enchanted to stun
with a touch, she tilts her head "So can you behave if you are allowed
entry?"
Asha had been out hunting and so returned to Night Haven with
a few squirrels slung over her shoulder.
She had worked had to hunt them down and
while their small size wasn't really worth it, it had been good
practice. She blinked a bit as she saw a
stranger at the gate talking to a neko guard "is everything ok here?"
she asked as she got closer. The girl dressing in just a simple black outfit
used for hunting.
Hroo looked the neko up and down then his eyes fell on the
glowing spear. Perhaps there was more to this place than met the eyes, that was
when a young one came up with squirrels over their shoulder and asked if
everything was alright. "I will behave for the price of one of those
squirrels." he said licking his lips though he knew he would have had to
have behaved anyway otherwise Tyr would have his head on a platter.
the neko smiles "If you will behave you may enter. This
is a place of sanctuary to those of the dark as well as the light."
Asha flicked her fox ears and twitched her nine tails.
"these are my squirrels. I hunted for then" sh huffed a bit and then
pet the Neko with her free hand "good neko" she smiled. "well
I'm going in.. are you coming? I might have some other food you could have
inside" she said, not wanting to deny him food if he as hungry.
Hroo followed Asha in and looked the neko over once again
wanting to make a comment but left the cat thing be only to be greeted by many
upon entrance into the town. "What is this place some cat sanctuary?"
these neko seem less with it than the one at the gate
"Puppy!" and swarm around Hroo and Asha "Asha bring puppy? Is he
nice puppy? Puppy want fishies?”
Asha giggled and pt as many neko
as she could, tossing some fish for them to go chase after. "kind of....
Aunty Gwen an Hotaru brought the Neko to be safe so in a way." she
shrugged and lead the boy through the streets to a place where he could get
some food and she could drop off her kill and clean up. "So why are you
here?" she asked him
"I am here to see the leaders
of this fair venue." hroo looked at
the fish and gave a low growl that he was no pet before accepting the fish. He
reminded himself he must be calm, he was here for the god he must be calm and
do his task.
the nekos run off with their haul
of fish, expect for the one that had fed Hroo who bows "Goddess bless you
puppy." and then runs off as well
Ahsa lofted a brow at the
puppy. "I am the leader" she
lied, but more because she was curious
to see why he was here and what he might say to her parents.
Hroo shook his head and arched a
brow at the neko that said goddess bless him. He didn;t need the blessing of
any goddess, especially Sinead, though he didn't know the neko was talking
about Gwen, though it still would not have pleased him. He then looked to Asha
as she lied and didn;t even waste a second of breath "You lie child.
Leader."
Asha pouted "ohhhh.. but how
do you know I'm not the leader?" she asked him, letting one of her tails
tickle his face a bit as she now would head to her parents home. The sound of babies either crying or laughing
could be heard as they got closer.
"You are too young, you could
not have had you hand in this city, it has been here since before you could
have been born child, what are you nine?" Hroo sneezed at the brushing of
the tail against his face
She growled at him "I'm Ahsa!
the most powerful of all the shadow walkers!" she told him and turned to
pounce on him and tickle him. "I'm the ruler here so tell me why you
come" she demanded.
Hroo growled back and would soon
break free "I am the messenger of evil, I come to be respected in this
land and to give a message to the leader at the command of my god."
Asha pulled herself off of the puppy now a bit scared. She had only
heard stories of that temple and fear rushed through her. "oh.. why didn't
you say" she said nervously and quickly took the boy to her parents. sune
was busy tending to the babies as always, the babies growing quickly as they
tend to do at first.
Hroo saw the fear rush through
Asha and it gave him a bit of a rush. He was soon brought to a woman who was
child caring at the time and he made his way forward to sniff at Sune's legs
"You the leader of this place?"
Sune had smiled when Asha came in
and given the girl a hug from here she sat feeding Ankh in a rocking chair. She
wore just a simple white outfit and blinked as the puppy came in and sniffed at
her legs, picking up on Sune's fox scent
and the smell of metal about her right leg. "I am one of them.. yes.. how
can I help you?" she asked.
"I come to give a message
from the god of evil. He wants to pay this place a little visit." Hroo
looked about the room and the babies that Sune held then looked to Asha.
"I think he will be most curious about this place."
Sune would listen but unlike Asha
she didn't suddenly scare at the mention of evil. "Oh.. and what would he
like to do while he is here? Does he expect us to hold a banquet in his
honour?" she asked in very serious tone. "or is he just dropping in
to say hi?" she went on, trying to find out what the god of evil would
want with visiting here as it held no evil.
"My guess is he wishes to see
where everyone stands and why. It seemed when I left that he wanted quite the
welcome when he arrives. But no banquets unless that is what you want. He wants
routine. He wants to see the truth of it all." Hroo said looking sune up
and down this one would have done anything it seemed to please the deities.
Maybe that was what came about when you lived with the one that held Temple
Appreciation. "Normality is what we want, just be prepared for his
visit."
"The truth you say.."
and Sune's fox ears cam into view along with many tails since sune now had more
than just nine. Her yes turned silver and the room got suddenly darker with
Sune looking quite scary at the moment. "Very well.. let him visit."
she agreed in a tone that suggested that if anything bad happened during this
'visit' Sune would be less than kind.
"make sure your citizens
know. Now if you do not mind I have other places to visit. Thank you for the
fish. Miss hostess... tickler." Hroo showed no other signs before he ran
from Night Haven to go to his next stop.
Sune would nod and growl a bit but
it didn't seem to phase the boy who soon left. She sighed and things went back
to normal. "I best go find Wulv and let them, Gwen and Hotaru know."
she sighed and got up to put the baby to bed before wandering off to go find
wulv
