As if all at once, a cloaked figure would appear from the shadows, approaching the notice boards in taverns and street corners throughout Tyran. With a single nail they would hammer in a notice, annoucing a tournament to be held at a undisclosed location:
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Tyran populi, It is my pleasure to announce the Grand Tournament of Succession! A bloody a ruthless tournament will find all who enter pitted against each other in brutal and unforgiving combat. Only the most ruthless, cold hearted and loyal of warriors and assassin's may apply. The winner(s) of the tournament will be offered a grand title and position within a rather exclusive and prestigious group! To those who would apply please sign up on the board in Wendy's Tavern. It would be well to also note that the heart of an enemy will be required as an entry fee... Applications will be accepted from now until the date of the tournament as posted below. We will be waiting egarly for you to join!

The note was not signed however at the bottom of the note was a time stamp that read the tournament would take place on the first of December and that the tournament would be celebrated through the day.

The tournament of Succession is a tournament being run and operated by the Temple of Evil with the intent to find a new Guardian of the Temple. For these purposes we advise anyone who is applying to fight in the tournament to be aware that they are ultimately fighting for the position of Guardian for the Temple of Evil. The Tournament will run on December 1st. The event will be scheduled to run all day to benefit those who may wish to enter but are restricted to specific time slots or may have difficulty being on the entire tournament. The tournament will be in tiers of one on one (player vs player) battles. It is important to note that the Finals battle will be to the death.
All participants of the tournament will be battling with ranks. This means that all participants are required to post their current forum rank when submitting an application. Please keep this under consideration when applying to participate in the tournament. All applications will be accepted from now to the time of the event as indicated above.
