Shortly after arriving in the capital of this new foreign land Darren quickly made himself comfortable by renting a room from the Tavern-Inn establishment known as ‘Wendy's Tavern’.
It was directly in the center of the capital and that was very convenient for him. His rented room was quickly filled with trunks upon trunks of luggage and a assortment of furniture, he did not seem to be a light traveler.
Darren spent the night downstairs in the dining area instead of his room, his booth was crammed with old dusty books and pages, some of the books seemed new. A few even bared his name under the title.
Among the war of books and pages were scattered forgotten cups of cold coffee.
Darren appeared to be young but old all at the same time. He held dark rings under his eyes from lack of sleep. His thick curly hair untamed and free to do as it pleased upon his head.
He was slender and very pale, proof he was not one to spend his time outside.
his eyes shown his Asian heritage, they were dark but yet very soft pools to gaze into. For a man in his twenties he was well dressed. He worn a tailored black and white suit that fit him like a glove. Upon his delicate face he wore a pair of dark framed glasses that he would often fidget with when he became frustrated. From the outside view he did not seem to mind the barmaids that were staring at him and watching him . But in reality the girls made it hard for him to concentrate on his task at hand.
~why must they stare at me!!~ he thought quietly to himself.
