The day ended. She had food ready for them as it had been simmering all day. She awoke slowly but then joined Tosh and Devin up at the roof. Helping to shingle and prepare the roof for the oncoming storms.

Between all three the roof would only take them till noon.
Next they would move on with that barn.following tosh and how he would make the barn dwarven style.
Knowing it would be large enough. To hold the entire farm if they wanted too .

Tosh smiled when they finished and took them to the barn. "ok now listen up i have long pieces of wood that we need to put like this." he said showing them how it would be built by placing the wood horizontally all the way up leaving no spacing it was alot of wood but it would be super sturdy"we need to do all of it like i just did then we will move on to the big pieces of steel i have" he said showing them a great dwarven build.
They would build half of it and most likely stop for dinner time due to the sheer enormous size of it.

Wasn't a dwarf by far. It took her a little extra work as the men were not human like she was. But she did her best and soon half of it was done. "Oi, come get yer dinner..." she tapped the pot with her ladle. Making an improvised bell. It was a hearty meal of left over stew from the night prior and some venison for more protein. They were going to need it. She would serve the men first. Doting upon her husband as she usually has done. When they were satisfied, she would eat her food.

Would flow toshes exact instructions .. on how he wanted the dwarven barn to built .
And it was looking like it would be a barn for ages . She whistled as just half of it was done. " She is gonna be pretty . " He told tosh " and big enough it will fit all the animals which is good because they will be arriving in three days from now "
Because he was part owner of the brothel. He got some of the profits from that . Besides she owed him quite a few favors .
He thanked his wife for the food. " Ahh love of my life ..your meal is spectacular as always "
He would eat quickly though letting his food digest and then back to work on the.barn with tosh .

Tosh smiled as he ate then went back to work on the barn when they finished he would look to devin "okay now comes the hard part we will be using iron nails to pound through the holes in the steel i have alread put to keep it all togther and working," he said showing him how to nail it to the boards and let the steel work with the wood. it wouldd cover a whole wall of the barn. this would take them the rest of the night and maybe early in the morn

Worked for a while after dinner was done. But it was obvious that she was tiring. But she would not let them see that. As Tosh explained she took a moment to gather her breath. "I can try ta do that but yew boys have more strength than I." she laughed

He laughed and kissed his wife . " You are a very hard worker my love... Always have been and I do not think if ya any less if you need a break "
Tiana was right them being magical.creatures they could work harder faster quicker , they tired out less .. and tosh being dwarf meant that not only did he do his worked he picked up the slack for them
He would watch the way tosh would use his dwarven steel and how he would hammer ..and he would copy him . Devin would work all day till he could not work any more .. and then took a well deserved good night's sleep.

Tosh worked as much as he could longer than them both but he still got a good nights sleep he got up with them this time and went out to the barn and began working with them laying the wood down first then the steel and then the roofing this would take them until 2pm.
when they finished he stopped and looked to devin "now we need to make some wells on the property. i think you should make one by the barn and i can make it so it dellivers right to the animals and i will put one in the middle of the property between our houses so we both can get to it pretty easily." he said looking to him

Returned the kiss as she tended to her husband. "Aye I know." She would clean up what mess they had made. Cleaning up the dishes.
The next morning, she awoke very sore. She was moving slower. Hiding her feelings as she worked. She would strive to help them the best she can. She listened to Tosh and nodded.

Devin would notice his wife was rather sore and tired .. he would think a moment ..." The animals should be coming in anytime now .. why don't you watch on the road and lead them in ..and show them to.the barn ..and help them into the stalls .. there should be 5 milk cows a heard of sheep.. 4 pigs.. two draft horses. And two donkeys .. as well as a cart full of chickens.."
he then looked to tosh " we shouldn't have to dig to deep for water...maybe 30.feet before we hit an underground aquifer ...

Tosh nodded and walked in the middle of where there houses would be and began digging. he would dig for quite awhile before finally getting into the water once he did that he would make a chain pump.
A chain pump was a device used for transporting water uphill,The pump consisted of a long loop of chain, mounted over two wheels at the top and bottom. As the looped chain was cranked around, either by hand or by animal-power, the upward-moving section of chain passed through a pipe and drew water up with it, which then flowed out at the top of the pump.

nodded softly. "Aye..." she would go to wait for the animals. It wouldn't take long for the animals to come. She would take them to their appointed spots. Feeding them. Making sure they had plenty of food and water.

Devin would work on the second well by the barn using the same method. Dig dig dig ..then line ..
the make the pulky system .. he would use lumber to make sluice type device.
The water would slide down the sluice and into the wooden water trough to make watering the animals easier and more effciant in the barn
The next project would be the individual shelters for the loads of chickens . And the pigs
The fences would made from wattle.. and it would just be simple . Rounded design
Since they were surrounded by oaks ..which gave way the name Black oak the pigs would have open shelter that allowed the to wander in and out of the forest and eat the acorns and forage for other natural.food ..
The chickens also could wander around as they offered free insect controll and management .

Tosh smiled and walke back to the barn "devin i need some help with my home it will be under a large hill." he said as he saw him and smiled he would grab some tools and head for the hill "we will need a few things for my house so we can make mead as well. and a few hives for bees for honey." he said looking to him with a smile

After the animals were settled. She began to make an area for the garden. Beginning to till the ground and ready for planting. there was enough to grow plenty of crops.

He watched his wife work making a family garden . It would probably a couple acres .and the during fall they could harvest can and store . For both Devin and tosh .
As all things would be split up evenly and plenty for each family .
Devin would nod and follow tosh they had been working easily over several weeks and still they were not done . Devin could feel.the strain ..but tosh house must be built and the feulds to be plowed .

Tosh and devin would dig over several days and put wood and dwarven steel in again the house had five rooms and two bathrooms and there was a room that went underground so the food and water would not spoil as fast it had big steel doors for the entrance and a large door knocker it had many beautiful windows throughout it. and lastly was the room to make Mead.

It was hard work, working on the fields. She felt shaky around mid day and had to stop for a rest. She sat against the wheel barrow and drank some water. closing her eyes as she took a breather. The garden was nearly done.
She wanted to add a place to store the food. A cellar. She knew a good place. A small hill nearby on the property. She would dig into the earth creating a small cave like area. Inside she lined with brick to keep it cool during the summer.

His wife was such a worker in providing a food garden for the families . She took on her roll as wife so well and Devin knew he made a goo choice in his first wife , because she likes hard labor. A wife to work by his side . Narcilla he knew would be good for home labor and helping tend to the orcahrds and helping Tiana to preserve the food
All he needed was a third wife to organize it all and she was going to have to have extra ordinary organizing skills
The last thing they would do is prepping the feilds they would have six crops for wheat barley beans peas oats and rye . Which would be rotated from feild to feild each year

Devin during his free time would work on building bee hives. For the farms personal use and fir tosh's Mead the would also pollinate the crops and and small orchard for personal use .
It would have apples and pears cherry and quince and nut trees .
Devin would also plant fruit bushes around the homes
Herb gardens all this would add a beauty to the farm .
He would also work on personal feild for tobacco.
