Borta took the pipe and took a draw on it passing it back to them "it would be a good thing to test the spirit for to test that is to test the heart. i had mine challanged when i had to place my father and brothers out of their misery when sickness came to our village" he said knowing that that was one of the hardest things he had to do was kill his family for their own good

They listens to him " we heard rumors of what happened . But then nothing else .... We we're glad to see at least one of your villiage survived ...did all die ..? As they would ask borta questions, he would notice that his legs felt extremely heavy ..the top of his head would begin to tickle .. and the smoke from the pipe would begin to take shape...but he would also feel a sense of calm . This would be a vision of the spiritual world. And perhaps a vision of his future or at least what could become of his future .

he nodded shaking himself some to try and shake the odd feeling so he could answer "yes . the whole village is gone those that would have lived became ill after those that got sick went mad. they seemed to become sick when bit or scratched by the striken. and i fear the sickness is still around. before we came here one of the orcs i buy from brought slaves to the farm. they had one among them that had a mark much like those that had gotten sick after they helped tend those that ate the meat from the one our village found in the snow. they where still alive but they had the look that the sickness would take them soon. i told them to get away from my land so that i did not have to face that sickness again"

They listened to him about the sickness one elder seemed to know of which sickness he spoke of and assured him it had not been here .
Very soon borta would feel his mind go lost and he would see the sun setting and giant teeth eating his old villiage . Then he would see the house on the hill he, the darkness was there but there was mother figure looking over him as he slept . Then 7 presented him with a gift a basket full of Cherry's ...
Then the sun rose and we would see himself planting the cherry seeds ..one tree as soon as he planted would spring forth ..the second seed bore two trees from the same seed . Then in the vision borta would look down and see more seeds in his hand . At least 12.
As the sun set again borta would see himself as an old man. Andhis cherry orchard would flourish and grow . He would be alive to see many of the second and third generation of trees being planted . And unlike the beginning of if the dream his villiage was large and prospering when the sun set again .
When borta awaoke the elders we're still there and on was fanning him with sage smoke using feathers.

borta would find when he came out of the elders hut , that he had spent nearly the eintire day there . And he would still feel the effects from the smoke , And the vision. The sun seemed brighter then usual , but it would wear off after a good night's sleep and he would find himself refreshed in the morning . The baby would be sleeping peacefully. Cherry was brushing and braiding the hair on what would be bortas warrior wife , then she maids a tight braid going down her back . Cherry preferred her hair be free ..
She smiled at Borta as she walked in . Much like the last baby she would show signs early of being pregnant . Because of the massive size of the babies . Though now through the magick of the midwife Gwen she would be able to carry them like normal children.
Cherry would not bug him about what was said but did point to his place where she had. Kept his dinner warm. " Hello my husband . " As soon as she tied his 2nd wife's hair at the bottom she would great him with a loving forhead to forhead bump . She would give him a kiss . " Did you get an answer of the women warriors ?"

Borta nodded some bumping his head to hers "yes the elders say that they are to be trained by those that passed the rights and have been marked this includes me aswell. should they fail they and those that trained them are subject to shame." he said as he moved to sit down carefully it was seen that he was feeling with his hand first before sitting his eyes still dailated to a degree from the vision inducing herbs. he sat carefully making sure not to make a sound as to not wake the sleeping child "they also let me do something that caused me to see something that shook me a good deal" he said "at any rate the men will be trained by others of the village that have passed but i am to take the women that are asking for the trails."

That morning cherry went to check on her brother .
Williard was getting better but slowly . Where there was frost bite on his hand feet huge blisters had formed .. but it looked like he was going to live .. most he just drank broth and water for now but cherry through much encouragement git to eat solid food at least once a day however because of his blisters he would have to have help with everything in I'd . He was in very extreme pain . The healers would have to help him with everything or cherry . She came out if the hut and looked at borta " he is awake , he will survive . " She smiled and took the baby from him " he can answer questions now "

Williard was pretty small for for being 10 years old . Only because his growth would have been stunted slightly from lack of food her needed to grow but he had time . He was looking healthier by the day . Even though the healers would to there best to ease his pain by having injest various teas and herbs . You could tell his pain was great . He tried to put on a brave face but he was 10 and so it would show . And you could tell he had just been worked on when cherry was in the hut because tears strained his cheeks still. He nodded to him ..not sure if living was worth the pain he was in right now . .

He didn't think anything right now could be worse then what he was feeling right now , but soon it would be over though he might be more sensitive to the cold from now on. And would probably have to do his trials I'm the summer " the healers say the pain is because I burned from the cold . And the liqued is protection while new skin forms underneath " he spoke in a pained voice . " My sister says you are a good man and will let me stay here with her ..and be a good uncle "
