Abigail awoke at dawn as she usually did and participated in her morning prayers and meditaions to the light . She then would get dressed have breakfast in her room and join her family for their breakfast with her own tea.
Today she was specfically working with Daisy on what would be expected of her as a Woman. All of her girls had theoretical knowledge , of how buisness was run , which was basically what a Manor was . Today was all about ledgers . Expenitures , balancing .. paying debts and collecting rents ,and dealing with any issues that might arise . Amoung the domestic staff and her farm workers .
Daisy sat listening to her mother but was absolutely bored to tears by all this stuff. Who cared about money when there were adventures to go on, worlds to be explored. Still she sat listening to her mother knowing the consequences if she didn't. But she honestly thought one of her sisters would be better suited to the finances.

She understood daisies boredom but Abigail knew this was going to be important to her all around education. When she saw Daisy drift off she would tap her hand " Daisy , I know I raised you with the want to life life beyond the manor , but you can travel an explore forever , and when I see and you receive your inhertiance it will be important that you know how to use it ....now , I these are our fees that need paid out , these are the rents , this is my income . " This was also preparing her daughter's for the fact that it was becoming imperative they find sources of their own income soon .
"You never know mother I might could explore for a very long time, and then settle down in far off lands with riches beyond my wildest imagination." Daisy retorted politely of course. "Why ar eyou showing me your expenses anyway, shouldn't that be somethin that is kept private?"

She smiles at Daisy she found her retort amusing she gently squeezed her arm " just like your father " she said it in a very affectionate way and looked at Daisy in the affectionate and loving ways when ever they said something amusing ." Because this is the only way I can teach you ..unless you would rather me send you to another noble house to learn " she winked at her ." Plus while Fred and I are on our honey moon you and your sisters will be responsible for the running of this house and land , I also might be going on journey with Gwen soon to find a rare and not yet cataloged or observed plant .. and will need you and your sisters to.run this house "
Daisy nodded as she listened for a bit then sighed and quickly caught herself. "Sorry mother. I just wish I could go with you. You will have such a grand time I am certain. But I understand this is important." Daisy frowned slightly then presented a smile. "I am not sure I am cut out for this."

She smiled at her and patted her hand " it matter not of your were cut out for it or not , these are things you must know , eventually I will set all you girls out on your own and you will have to fund all your adventures , just like I did before I married your father and before I had sponsers like the house of light. And even if you do have sponsers or investors for your travels , you may only get a certain amount money or they may deny you certain funds . "
"Yes mother." Daisy sat listening to abi after squeezing her hand in return and patiently went over the funds hoping maybe to marry rich one day so as not tp have to fret over any of this again.

She smiled at Daisy ..even if Daisy were to marry rich this was actually part of ladies duty. To her husband . Was to over see the finances . Which she would find out in time even if she married rich . As Daisy studied more of the books she would also begin to understand how much money they actually had . Abigail also during this time made Daisy aware of the amount if monetary inheritance she would receive as well as her dowery amount. " Have you thought diasy about what you would like to do .. do you fancy your self an explorer or treasure seeker like your father...honestly ?
"Daisy looked back at her mother and began to think "three months."

She kissed her daughter's cheek and shook her hand .. " now , how about .. " shwed her the ledger colomens again " you balanace this ledger .."
Daisy took the ledger and began to balance it the way she was taught now that she had some incentive to be invested in it that she felt legitimately affected her.

She smiled at her and watched .. Abigail worked along with her well one couldn't know it all in one go answered any questions . When they were done she winked at her " congratulations on taking the first step for towards your own independence " and she gave Daisy her personall allowence for the month .
