Maggie : After finding out the bunny was just one her family .. she got her stuff together again and went off down more the beach . Making sure she could keep track of the time and where she was to make back in time for supper . As they were walking , the talked to shea .. all about her family . And the stone . " So did the alchemist really go mad ..or are there dark forces here , that made him go mad ?"
Shae jumps off her shoulder changing to human to land neatly on the beach next to Maggie "Not sure what mad is, there is a dark place though."
Maggie explains to shae what she meant by mad at least that is what her comanding officers called mad . " That say by the journals that he heard voices in his head telling him that villiages planned to kill him and so he made wine and poisened them all with it .. were the voices really from dark entities or did he just simply hear them" either way they were real . At least to him but if they weren't Maggie had to be in gaurd.
[Shae] nods "Oh, well the voices were real, but they never make any sense. They came from the dark place."
Maggie nodded to her " where was the dark place does it exist on this island ?"
[Shae] points off into the old vineyards "Under an old stump, there are rocks that hold up the soil and inside is all dark. The whispers come from there."
Maggie looked off towards the old vineyards which were fnow technically just wild grapes " is there a way to destroy them ..or if we just leave it alone will it not bother us " she new eventually they would harvest the grapes to eat or to make cheap wine for the journey back . " Can you read his journals . They are written in an anchient elven? " If so she might have to tell her commanding officer about shae and they might interrogate her or she would have to find a different way to find out about the stone " does he write about the dark place in his journals ? "

[Shae] tilts her head and then frowns "I'm not sure, the man went down into the darkness, then he got to be as he was." she nods a moment "I can read them, he wrote about the dark place in the later ones I think "
Maggie looks at shae very seriously in her eyes " you have been a very good friend to me ..if you can read the journals and keep us safe , we can reviel you to my commanding officer ..I can not say for sure if he will not keep you for s bit to make sure ..you are safe .. or interrogate you , on the other hand I can't knowingly let my fellow commrades fall to the darkness as well , I promised my feilty and commitment to the Queen to protect the life of her and my commrades , but I also could never live with myself if you were locked away for knowing to much .."
[Shae] tilts her head "I am your companion, I go with you." she looks confused "What is interrogate?"
Maggie explains to her what it is and what reviling could possibly mean for her . " Perhaps there is another way ..she thinks for a moment ..can you mind speak ? "
She thinks for a moment to her and then speaks to shae with out moving her mouth directly to Shae mind ,- cAn you hear me when I speak like this -
[Shae] nods "Yes I can, how do you do that?"

Maggie shrugs her shoulders " I am kind of like you .. a changing ..only my only form is a fairy " she takes off her shirt but keeps her bra on takes a deep breath and two large opal colored translucent wings come from her back . Her face gets slightly more impish and she sparkles a bit . Her voice gets slightly higher pitched and much more mischevious sounding " I am chaos fairy ,which means when things get choatic ..I can feed upon it and I grow stronger , I know what I did can be taught , but for me it comes as a natural ability ."
[Shae] reaches out to touch Maggie's wings lightly "Oh you never told me you could fly as well. We should fly together." she smiles at Maggie
Maggie smiles at her she let's shae touch her wings . She even flaps them about for her - we should practice to see if we can open up a communication this way .. and to see we can learn to see through each other eyes . , I have heard it is possible if we practice , try speaking to me just in your mind with out moving your lips - "
[Shae] nods and closes her mouth firmly then her eyes trying to think to Maggie how much she likes her
She couldn't help but smile Maggie could feel the emtion coming from her as she was attune to that especially in her fairy form . - I can feel your emtion ..now just say a sentence in your head ,like you are speaking to me , but don't move your mouth -" little did Maggie know this experience of bonding would also form a bond of their minds . Perhaps their souls .
[Shae] clenches her eyes trying to force the thoughts to make words ~ I will stay with you always ~
Maggie smiled brightly - I heard that !, Faintly but I heard it ! -

Magdalena .. when she not doing her ordered had been dining with her bird working in the connection so that they could mind speak .. today she was doing patrols on the island .
She was very alert .
She was most proficient in the bow . But she could handle herself with a sword. She had a sword to her side and she had her bow to her back. She was very careful looking at watching. One thing her seniors said . When there is nothing to be on guard about is when you must be on guard the most , to keep your senses keen . She listened because she didn't want to be the reason someone got hurt .
Savitar was on the prowl looking for food to eat. He had noticed people on his island but wasn't sure if they were poisoned like the last people were he was angry at the man who did it maybe these were his friends. He had caught a few animals already they hung around his home but he needed something big he saw a young girl alone in the woods and began stalking her slowly maybe for
food or maybe a companion. He wasn't sure yet
Maggie relied alot on intuition she also had her hawk as her guide. She heard it squeal out and she watched it gaze from the tree ahead .
Between them both she felt a warm feeling upon her back .
She was being watched .
She kept her step, acted like nothing was wrong, she knew they had large cats in the island she had seen a few. She also knew cats attacked from the back , but what if it wasn't a cat . What other predators had they seen . They had dogs that had turned wild . They hunted in packs and climbing a tree would be best. .
She waited to see if she heard more than one
Savitar smiled and watched her slowly. She would hear only one but she wouldn't be able to pinpoint his exact location as he kept moving from spot to spot sometimes he would be up in a tree other times he'd be on the ground. He smiled and spoke "are you scared little girl." A voice would come from somewhere around her
It was a cat , only one and it location changed , not a very stealthy cat .. as she could hear it moving from here to there and then scrambling up trees . ..Maggie didn't stop moving cats relied on movement yes, but large cats had better vision ...wait did it speak ..was she scared ? " No " she really wasn't scared . The more it talked the more she could pinpoint its location . And it wouldn't be long before the the second scout would come along .
[Shae] spreads her wings on her perch and lets out an alarm cry as if warning another goshawk of danger, her eyes following a shadow of a predator, if it moved closer to her companion it would lose its eyes to those wicked talons
Bludsnow :was close by too, walking along and chewing on a small lizard it had found.
Savitar was not being stealthy anymore he was playing with the girl he hopped up on a tree then jumped on the ground next to her "what do you and your kind want with my island." He said as he heard the hawk but if the hawk knew him at all it would know he was not easy to defeat
As soon as he was in the tree she had drawn her bow with an arrow in it as he landed on the ground he would find himself face to face with the point of it ..
she was not hesitating it had about 2 seconds before the arrow was sending off . She had no idea what it intended to do . And so better to kill then be dead .
[Shae] launches herself from the branch with a war cry, unlike most hawks she would have no issues going after even something she could not beat to protect her companion
Savitar laughed as the arrow was pointed at him "girl if I wanted you dead I would have killed you now put it away." He said as he reached up swatting at the hawk "and call off your damn hawk I just want to talk."
She was quick enough that that arrow of her bow was slammed into the ground next to him . She hawk however was little harder to stop .. though she tried to tell Shea to back off
the panther , though , had it tried to attack would also find Maggie was not so easy to kill . She only hesitated because it intelligent .. if it was not . Her arrow would have flown much sooner .
" Well there are million ways other to stalk someone to talk to them .. besides you were very noisy the entire time . Panthers are stealthy . Your intelligence has not brought you much wisdom , or you would have approached differently"
[Shae] easily avoids the swipe but does pull back from her attack circling around them screeching her warning cry still
She watched as her hawk flew up to a tree .and then looked back to the panther . Shea would know Maggie was pleased with her " She is my companion if she feels the need to protect me then so be it , if you want her called off don't be so threatening"
She put her bow away for now but kept hand close to the hilt of her sword
" If you want to know why we are on this island ,the information was not shared me with me .. I can lead you to my superior ?"
She watched his movements the way his mouth moved when he talked his action, his body language as she was sure he watching hers too.
[Shae] lands on a branch wings half spread, if the panther looks at all threatening she is likely to go for his eyes and not pull off a second time
Savitar was indeed watching her body language "perhaps that will be good but first I wish to talk to you right now. And I will have to take a non threatening form." He said as he stared at them "what is your name? I am savitar." He said looking at her
Maggie thought about this for a moment " okay we can talk but I have to keep doing my scout so let's walk .
She kept her guard up watching , this would eventually lead them back to the the camp where he indeed could speak with the proper officials on official business " so what did you want to talk about "
She gave shea the okay to settle down. . and held her arm out of she wanted walk with her ..if she wanted to fly in the trees tops that was okay too
[Shae] flies down to perch on Maggie's arm
Savitar smiles "I saw you searching the bodies and doing other things to them why?" He asked "and you never told me your name" He said looking to her
She kept walking " we buried the bones of the dead ..and burned the villages because it looked like a plague " she looked over him " you didn't introduce yourself self either but my name is Corporal MaCarther "
Savitar nodded "well met corporal macarthur I am savitar." He said as he looked to her "not a plague just make whole place hot. It not feel good." He said smiling to her "now what made you choose this island?"
She carries shae very carefully putting her on her shoulder which she padded just for this purpose " I already told you , I was not informed on why and so you would have to speak with my superior ...and if he feels like he wants to tell you then he can."
Savitar laughed "he will tell me it is my island if he wants to stay then he say why." He said looking to her it was clear common tongue was not his best language. "Are you looking for more companions for your journey?" He asked curiously
Maggie smiles " well if this is your island and you are so fond of it . I thought you would like to stay here, you are strange one savitar. You threaten out one side of your mouth., Then sound lonely out of the other side asking if we need more people . " She shakes her head " so which one is it .. are friend or are you foe" she knew her bird would probably stay quiet And listen.
Savitar laughed "I am friend as long as I can be. There is nothing to do on this island no one to play with." He said looking to her "it's no fun being alone here
Maggie just shook her head again . And they came to.tns mIn Basecamp ..where at first there was alarm over the panthed then the she worked with the chain of command until one of Maggie's superiors came forward to talk with savitar .. and basically told him the same thing Maggie did. That the reason they choose this island was to.furtber knowledge of cultures and trade routes for tyran . And he invited savitar into his tent to speak with him .
Savitar nods and enters into the tent with him

After he had talked with the panther the capitain went to record his finding in the captians long which through magical means would automatically recorded in another log that lealia could read .
The log before hand had stated all the things that happened in the days previous.
Everyday the the captians would journal would state what they had found.
All old inhabitants had died ..at first glance and study,they thought it was a plauge of some sort ..but upon finding an old alchemist shack theyfound journals , written in rare form of ancient elven ,and what they could just by their own means of translation the people of this island had been poisened by wine from the alchemist who had gone mad hearing voices and becoming paranoid
He wrote more then likely killed himself after he poisened his neighbors , but what isn't clear is if the voices were just a sign of madness or if there was indeed an evil that had corrupted him and he spoke of it in the journals
The Capitan wrote the journals we're being copied via a crystal into another journal at the appropriate military office as they were quite old and chances of them making the journey back to the capital were against the odds . It was almost as if the alchemist had made it so his journals would deteriorate faster over time . And since they were still studying the plant Flora and fauna the upmost care was needed taken in case the pages themselves were poisened .
The other part of the report stated the the ground here was fertile and upon report back of the findings of the journal ..That island would be perfect to start colonizing. And expanding trade as go between with even more distant lands and exotic locations.
The third part the capitain wrote that island seemed to have various magical creatures that inhabited the island . And wrote that he had met a panther named Savitar guided in by Corporal McAurther and that she also had made friends with a hawk thatcould have been the alchemists old compainion, but thus far did not seem Magical in anyway. But he was watching them closely.

In a couple days the translations would return to them the translations that were most pertinent. Indeed he did talk about a source of the evil just as Shea had told Maggie. Inside the hole amoung the wild grape feilds.
Armed with appropriate weapons and armour to fight evil as well as the appropriate mind set a group would find the hole and move down in it......
And to find it was empty devoid of any evil spirit or thing .. perhaps the alchemist had just been mad luniatic ..maybe he had even dug the hole it was hard to say . But needless to say nothing was there .. not even accourding to the specialized weapons they used . The hole was just that a hole... Held up by stones .
And after a time of finding nothing they all climbed out and began to dismantle.the hole in the ground filling it back up with dirt .
Maggie felt a strange though . She had never had a gut feeling before. She knew there had to be more to it. So on her own time she would go back to the Alchemist house and search around.

Maggie whenever she had free time would go to this house .. this mad man's house ..she knew Shea wouldn't lie , they were becoming a bonding pair. Armed mostly with just a 15 years old curisoity and obsession. She didn't know what she was looking for , she just knew there had to be something .
On about the 5th day Maggie was a little clumsey and she knocked over a shelf the liqued went tumbling over with the self she jumped out the way because while she was Sure most of liqued was harmless one could never tell.
She sighed this was gonna get her in a little bit of trouble as they had not finished categorizing all the bottles and liqueds this mysterious alchemist had in his home

Her first thought was to runaway, and have them find the broken shelf. That would actually not be uncommen a animal could have gotten in, but damn it, she was an honest kid. She was about to turn and face her punishment when her eyes zoomed in to something it was a branding in the wood
it was breaking wheel with a broken man on it .. she was young. She couldn't have any recollection or even knowledege of symbolism , fact of the matter is , she had just learned how to read not that long ago. But this she just knew was going to be something of importance and it might save her from harsher punishment from sticking her nose in where it didn't belong .
The symbol would be traced into the log for Lealia.

They had been on the island for several months now . Things had been properly planted and scavenged and recorded and the island was marked on the map for colonization . It would make a great place to set small military town and port for further trade. With countries yet to be discovered by tyran.tents were being torn down . And things we're being packed back up.on the ship for the journey home .
Maggie was packing up her stuff she had even gone out of her way to do extra hunting for Shea and savitar so they would have their own food rations
It was the only way the captain agreed to her animal companions come back home with her . She had to take care of them. The other reason is they had proved usefull .
Maggie had made a little stand on which to hold Shea. But had kept her changing a secret . And had trained savitar to sleep in a hammock .
By morning the ship would be making the journey back to tyran.
<Savitar> slept inside the hammock he did not like the sea it swayed so much he hadnt changed yet and wasnt about to let anyone know he could until he trusted them more. the only person he trusted was maggie and it was going to stay that way until he got to the new land. he looked up out of the hammock "hey maggie when do we leave?" he asked curiously
[Shae] stands on her stand as hawks are apt to do and watches Savitar carefully, the hawk still not quite certain about him

She looked down to Savitar " we leave as soon as light breaks in the morning .. then it's the long journey home .then you both get to meet my family and my beau .. Sampson who lives in the same house as me , well actually I have two houses , no i taken that back I have my family's house and room at night haven . " she wondered if Sampson ever found this man Drake Pheonix.
She strummed her gitturn. She sighed maybe they would discover a civilized place and Maggie could learn an entirely new instrument .
She certainly had not forgotton her love of music . It was still there loud and clear litterly . She looked over at shae " sing us a hawk song Shea " she smiled at her .. her bunk mates giving her a dirty look for encourged the hawk to screech and shrill .
<Savitar> nodded "very well then. yes shea sing us a song of our homeland." he said as he listened and waited
[Shae] tilts her head pausing in the middle of grooming a talon with her beak and begins to set up an unholy screeching that is the goshawk's version of singing

Maggie actually somehow some way made the music of her gitturn to compliment the unholy screeching.
Maggie had grown close to shipmates and so she had learned how to tease them and how not too .
And everything was going as planned untill a commanding officer came down and threatned to make Maggie sleep above deck for the rest of the journey and so she stopped the song and patted little Shea's head gently that " they just don't appreciate your voice Shae , but I think it's lovely " she assured her
<Savitar> chuckled "well that was close one i would rather not stay on the surface of the boat i would slid off." he said chuckling "That or ruin the deck." he said as he looked to them both "maggie what is your home like?" he asked curiously
[Shae] makes a soft noise and rubs her head against Maggie then gives her a gentle nibble with her beak to show her affection for the woman

Maggie smiled at shae and continued to pet her and stroke her feathers . She thought for a moment to savitars question " it is large .. lands that go way beyond eye can see . It hold plains and forests , frozen waste lands and the people are just as diverse , it hold two temples. And capital where the general who is also the queen lives . "
<Savitar> nodded "sounds like a lovely place i hope there are big places to roam and a forest that will be good." he said looking to her "i will be king of the forest or atleast try." he said looking to her
[Shae] leans into the strokes and seems to be happy, or that is what she projects to Maggie at the moment

She smiles leans over giving mShea a kiss goodnight and Pat to Savitar . Before she snuggles up under blanket and let's sleep take her into the dream world.. she had so much to tell. Every one when. She returned especially her dad mom and Sampson and ginger .. if ginger hadn't completely gone mental ..
