Above being a priestess and dabbling in politics. And being a healer .The only healer she knew of that had built a hospital . And a rejuvenation center That not only served as a hospital but also a training and school. She focused on all parts of a person's body-mind included. Being half elf also gave Access to be able to heal using nutrition as well. Plus her many years of experience she learned that food was vital to health. Of course most people knew this , the better the food the higher the quality of water the better health you were in .
Which brings us to Abigail's second love , alchemy, science , Abigail had several unique talents that served her well in her chosen paths . One she could taste dirt . Though few knew this and she rarely did it front of anyone . But the reason Abigail's garden prospered so much was just by taking a small.amount of dirt and tasting it she could tell what plants would grow best in what conditions and what the soil needed for other things . Of course this translated into other things. She could taste the nutritional value of foods as well . Of water . Her palette was very sophisticated
Now if Abigail we're a farmer she probably would grow the best crops , but she wasn't she actually abhorred manual labor . Now working knee deep in a plague or a war she could work for days , but it would be a cold day in hell before Abigail worked behind a plow .
Instead she used her talents to help the farmer to produce more with less work .
She often loaned money to people who came to her with ideas ..perhaps changing the shape of a plow or making a new type of of what kind of equipment farmers used , like we said Abigail doesn't labor .
She had several greenhouses upon her residence and also separate gardens because these were her experimental plants. Today in her one of experimental gardens she had someone plant several potatoes along with beans corn and cabbage . She had been modifying each one to produce more per plant so less space was needed. Her goal was that not one person in tyran would hunger .
