Maggie had never quite gotten rid of the image of the queen in that dress at the ball. She had never fully realized. The queen was a woman . Untill that dress.
And it only added to her infatuation when she captured reg and the queen was bent over putting on her seargents pin .
She could see deep into those heavy eyes of blue
Feel her warm breath in her face .
See the way the soft silly strands of her hair moved in her braid . Smell the kind of soap she used .
All of it intoxicating to Maggie.
It was not uncommon for people to send gifts to the queen and Maggie offten volunteered to take this fan mail up to the queen after it had been properly sifted through . Only so that it would give her a moment or two to be next to Laelia
Once out of site maggie woukd slide in with it a music box with a poem she had written for her .. no name at the bottom of the poem or artists mark upon the box
The box would be made of wood and sanded down till it was smoothed then a lovely design envraved on top of it. Nlothing in particular just common decorative designs of the time. The polished to give it a shiney appearance .
Maggie went to great lengths to keep her anonymity .
Once the box was opened it would chime a haunting Melody that was meant to get stuck in the head .
And peice of paper in which to Maggie handwrote her poem in scrolly letter work .
I am broken by the woman
I will never touch
By the lips that I will never kiss.
I'm high on emotion
there is space between us
I can not reach you
I wish it could be the real me and the
The gentle curve of your breast with
The gentle slide of your hip
I have to hold the breath in my lungs
The world leaves a sour taste in my mouth
With you I taste honey.
If you were to hold me I would unfold before you,
I would tell you that I want to bury my soul in your embrace.
How long will I crave you?
as long as your eyes look to the stars ,
as long as there magic in you,
As long as there magic in me,
As long as there are seasons.
Until my hunger can be sated
my dreams will fade into you.
