I would like to quickly just remind everyone of this ahead
of time so as to hopefully avoid any drama down the line.
Tyran is a freeform RPG.
What does that mean exactly?
Well the story is driven and created by the players and what
one person does, does not have to affect another person.
It is not structured.
True some events may be but the game as a whole is created
for everyone to have fun.
Why do I bring this up?
Well you may have tuned into chat and noticed a plot to send
basically release an ancient on the land.
I want to make sure people know ahead of time that they do
not have to participate or acknowledge this happening if they do not wish to.
If you do not wish to take part in this particular event that is fine. We want
everyone here to have fun. If this is not your idea of fun rp with some others
in Tyran that may not want to participate as well. These sort of events aren’t
for everybody.
At the same point that I say this I would also like to
remind people that events are a great catalyst for character growth and that is
why the various staff choose to host them. It gives a greater idea of some
story for those that may wish to seek that out, and provides the opportunity to
explore something with your character that you may not have before. If you are
noticing a sort of lol or plateau with your character, this may be a great opportunity
for you.
