Baracus:
After dealing with the arrogance of another god, it was too late for Baracus to head back to Dravidian manor...no it wasnt that, he just needed a drink and time to think about all that was going on. As he left the ToL and left Sinead enraged he shimmered to Wendy's tavern. He held no affiliation to either side so he wouldn't nor should not be harassed by the town guard. Stepping inside he wasn't feeling himself but ordered his usual and sat at the table far from the bar. With a drink in one hand, air in the other and a mind full of jumbled facts he wondered who was right. Sorsha and her help Tyran, Sinead and her Help only the light, or Tyr ignore the threat get Mordred.
Amika:
came down from the upper rooms. She was dressed in her usual attire. Circles under her eyes as she ordred something from the barkeep. She leaned against the counter, holding her head as she waited for her drink.
Baracus:
Sitting on the far back side it was hard to not see Amika or feel her presence as she walked into the room. She had appeared to not see him and his eyes looked to the door on the other side of the room. He had not wanted to see her this early the anger he possessed would surely get him removed from Wendy's He would stand and make his way for the door hoping she was hungover and wouldn't see him.
Amika:
the movement of him getting up, caused her head to turn in that direction. "Barry...." she breathed out. Her eyes held no emotion
Baracus:
Oh, if she could read his thoughts it would sound like a Samuel L Jackson sound bite...several words that would not be appropriate. Seeing the door close he moved on towards it. "No." He was not ToE so he wasnt bound to attempt her death, He did not have Dawn so didnt need to pretend that he cared. Besides Wendy's wasnt the place for their discussion, too many ears and too many eyes. He would move on to the door and exit.
Amika:
sighed softly as she held her head. "No...." she repeated his words as she held her head in her hands for a moment. "Fine...." it hurt her. He would know this, but she showed little emotion outside her form. "Cancel that..." she looked to the tender before she moved towards him as he left. "What the hell is your problem? Can't even stand being in the same room as me?" she held no emotion in her voice. Her eyes were hollow
Baracus:
He stopped just as they exited the tavern hearing her. He clenched his fist but tried to calm himself. "My problem?" He turned slowly to square off with her. "My problem is I have poor choice in women. I know what you did with him Amika."How or why would be irrelevant except to her possibly. "While I was at the temple doing YOUR job, as MY son laid on the alter repairing himself. You were off, no cares for me, none for my son, and certainly none for our daughter." He held back a lot, but just under his skin a fire burned so fiercely.
Amika:
blinked softly "You know what I did? I drank Absinthe. Nothing more." She winced softly as her head ached her. "You have no clue about me do you?! I do care for our daughter." She rose her voice as she spoke to him. Her eyes were so different then the last he saw her after their walk in the wood.
Baracus:
Now she lied, on top of betrayal..he may reveal too much information but anger had him now and the guards may be summoned to break up the two. "Kissing, pawing all over each other, all while laying beside his sister. Is that what you call drinking and nothing more? How far would it have gone if HE did not end it Amika!? I watched as he told you if he wanted you he would have you and we both know he was right." By this point with such accurate info he may as well been right there in the room with them. She was a bright woman she could do this math. "I cannot and will not speak for Tyr and his temple, but you have burned the last bridge with Dawn and I."
Amika:
blinked. How the hell did he get this information? "So what if we kissed. He kissed me first. He touched ME first!" she shouted. "You watched? You weren't in the....." she trailed off and held the bridge of her nose. "Monet came to you didnt she?" She shook her head. Another time. "Burned the last bridge with you and Dawn. She is my DAUGHTER Baracus. I have every Right to see her!" She clenched her fists. She didn't say anything about Tyr. She knew Tyr was pissed. He had every right. There was a sense of darkness within her. A darkness even Baracus could feel. Something that was not like her at all.
Baracus:
He laughed as she claimed to be Dawns mother. "Where the hell have you been the last few days Amika? If you cared about YOUR daughter where the F*CK have you been? Trying to see her? Trying to fight off Mordred's advances with your tail wrapping around his leg?" Yeah DING round 1..."Are you surprised they betrayed you? Really? You knew what he was like when you sent him to hell, You knew what he was like when he returned. If anything at least Monet was being honest. He may have initiated it by why do you think that is? You think he loves you? You think he would ever put you anywhere other than on the couch like the dog he called you? I built us a home, I built us a life...and you did the one thing for him that I asked you to do...leave Tyr. No...you may have given birth to Dawn, but you are not her mother. Go find another mans bed to sleep in. He and I have one thing in common. We both reject you for another, Im just doing it for a red haired toddler."
Amika:
eyes widdened. "You think I love him?! He is my friend! You KNEW how I cared about him when we first got together. Besides. You have no room to talk. You were messing around with me when you were still with Travine!" score 1 point. "Where have I been?! Trying to survive. I've been trying not to die and to figure out the next step. I spent days at the Temple of Light until I got a room here. My house is destroyed! Which isn't the first time....." she shook her head. "Besides you broke it off with me. You dont have the right to say who I can't do what with. We are both Adults here, Baracus and I remember long ago we were fine with going to other people...." Her tail swayed softly "So you're going to keep her from me huh?" She curled her lip. "He was right about you......you are nothing but a coward." she turned her back, moving to head back in. She had enough.
Baracus:
He stood there listening to her as she crescendoed upto her big walk out. "Yes, I chose you over her, and you think that gives you a pass to hurt your family? You could have come to me before running off to Mordred. We spent that day with Dawn and you said nothing but he gave you 24 hours to decide. What kind of a friend does that Amika? Pick me or him or I will kill you. If thats the friend you chose over us then why do you care now about Dawn? Or me for that matter?" He stepped to the side of the steps letting others go by. "Yes, I broke off the engagement to not interfere with your duties as priestess. And perhaps he was right. But who put you in this predicament? You ran away from your family to him." Baracus wanted to stop her but she was right the two of them were probably better off. "I hope your HAPPY, with your decision of being a whore." Score 1 point.
Amika:
paused by the door before she went in. "Yes but you knew of my reputation long before. I tried everything but you should know that just because I was a priestess didn't mean our marriage would have been in the way.....I hope you're happy with being an asshole...." she slammed the door behind her and was gone
