Fawn had had quite enough of the farm life with Devin and his two wives. And shebhad quite enough of Devin. She also didn't like that dark elf there either constantly threatening her husband. Dwarves were obviously better, and heartier
She had been writing to her father's about the issues with and was half tempted to take tosh and and go back to home.on one of the more recent letters. Her father had spoken of a long ago abandoned dwarven keep called Val Warhien. The story goes that after one of the many wars the gods. The dwarves grew weary of having to survive wars that had nothing to do with them so they left. And you know when dwarf leaves they are fed up. Past fed up.
On such an evening after tosh had come in. After removing his boots. She had his pipe packed and ready and greeted with warm sliced cider and his favorite book beside his chair.
She was making dough for more bread as winter was coming and stocking up was becoming nesscary . There was thick stew warming over the fire. The table set all ready for meal time .
" Tosh my love how attached are you to farming. This place especially ? " you could tell fawn wanted to to discuss something serious because she was being kind and not nagging him .

Tosh had grown tired of doing all the work on the farm so he was not in a happy mood when he walked back home and the chickens were out "God damn devin and his bullshit." he said grumbling as he rounded the chickens back up and fixed the fence as he finished he looked back at home longing for his pipe and books. But before he could he had to take all the supplies and put them away, which he did as quickly as he could.
When he got home and kicked his shoes off outside and walked inside he moved to his chair and sat down. he got comfortable he lit his pipe and picked up his book and began reading it. "well i do love farming but i do miss home and working in the mines. i love this place but i will give it up i cant work alone and we are about to have our own kids and i dont want them to know that we let people take advantage of us. because i don't i think we have to find our own place some place safe but more our kind." he said as he looked to her with a smile

As she worked the bread dough her hands. Rolling back and the towards herself. She put it in large bowl and covered it with a cloth and put it on table near the stove to rest And raise. She smiles as she listened to him rant and the things he had to do .
She took her the lot of porkstew from the fire to the table " foods ready dear " she waited till he sat she served him and then herself. Poured his ale and her own. " I am glad you do not like it here, I have been writing my father "
She sliced off bread and buttered it for him
" there is rumoured to.be an old abandoned dwarven hall. In the mountains. They grew tired of the wars between the gods and left for more peaceful territory. We could try to see if we could find it. "
She looked at him to.see what thought about this.

Tosh read his book and listened to fawn cook as he puffed on his pipe he got up when she spoke of food and sat at the table bringing his pipe with him as he puffed on it. "good im glad food is ready im starving." he said as he looked to her "oh you have have you? what does he say?" he asked as he began to eat setting his pipe down for now. He took the bread and looked to her
Tosh sighed as she told him of the dwarven hall "hmm that sounds good oh so good. i will be fine living in a place like that and we could always take the hall and began work there. get some people to mine with me so we have a steady source of income and i can always work in the forge for another income." he said looking to her "i think if we go looking for it we better tell devin we are done and leaving." he said looking to her with a grin "ill tell him that way i can kick his ass if he gets out of hand." he said

She smiles at him " if we take that hall we will be the king and queen , unless you would prefer we do it more as a commune , we can select strong men and women who join us, to form an council. " she refills her ale " that doesn't sound to bad."
She picks her spoon up for a moment tapping it one the side of her bowl as he talks about leaving now . " no let's wait till spring . To leave . It's coming upon winter and things are hibernating. We have no idea the state of it or even what is living in it now, could be orcs or worse yet goblins. We can travel there and check it out though .. And get married along the way we will be traveling past he house of light. It would be a winter honey moon camping along the way . Travelling and adventuring along the way. "her pale blue eyes seeing his reaction . " honestly if it is over run by orcs ..I'd rather not bother.. Nd start carving out a mountain myself .. goblins we could just simply smoke out through the upper vents . ..anywaybim.getting ahead of myself ..." She dipped her bread I to her soup " what do you say marriage and honey moon ..adventuring "

Tosh continued to eat and drink some of his mead "why yes that could be a good idea but ruling sounds pretty good too we have a long time to think about it though." he said smiling to her as he finished his food and now sat with his pipe and ale. he took a drink and pondered his thoughts "you know though both come with responsibilities far more than this farm we will sit at the head of the council i will hear no more than i want to. and the vote will come down to it being the one in favor none of that unanimous shit." he said as he drank some ale.
Tosh nodded "very well we shall wait for spring. im sure we could take the hibernating things though.yes very true we can go check it out and get married along the way i like the idea of that." he said looking to her "but if it is overrun by orcs i am clearing it out even if i have to do it myself i hate orcs they took my familys halls and i will not let that happen again." he said looking to her

Fawn would let a light little.laugh fall form her lips " well a council would mean there would be no clear leader..but I do agree that highest vote gets the win . " she she pats his hand " good I am glad you agree.. Fter the last harvest we pack up .. under the pretenses of marriage and honey moon .. " I'll make a quick trip into town and get our wedding clothes " she reaches over and pulls his beard out of his soup "
" such a strong dwarf with a thick handsome beard .. how did I get to lucky " she was being very nice. And she had not nagged him once in fact she had been rather loving. She smiled she picked up a damp towel and wiped out his beard gave him a kiss upon the cheek refilled his soup and mead
" well soon I will.be fawn carved .wife to the greatest miner or forger the dwarven race has ever seen and odes will be written about the manliness of your beard "
She let's another little giggle " in one week we leave that should be the rest of the squasg squash harvested and we will be done for.the year "

Tosh sighed and puffed on his pipes as she spoke and cleaned his beard then got some more food for him all the while she talked and boy could she talk. "Yes no clear leader but i think maybe that we have a few elders on the council or atleast have a council of their own." he said as he looked to her "Alright that is fine with me after the last harvest we do that" he said smiling as he began to eat his soup and drink his mead.
"I do not know how you got so lucky to be with me. and you will indeed be Fawn carver wife to the greatest dwarf all around." he said chuckling as he stood and kissed her before sitting back down and finishing his soup " Very well that will give me time to do all that i need to here and tell devin to get some more help or else his farm will fail." he said as he drank his mead then lit his pipe and began puffing on it again "and i swear to god fawn if your father comes and tells me how to do my job im going to freak out." he said smiling to her

She sat on his lap and bags in to braid the sides if his beard. In a such a way , that showed he was man if importance to further build her husband up " oh you mean like how to put chickens away , how to barter , how you should plow a field, how you should make a fence " she giggled at all the things they had fought about in the past " I wasn't planning on telling Devin at all .. I say we should just leave. " she smiles " unless you think months right thing to do .. I don't think he deserves that "
Yes gain could take she lists ed as the fire still crackles and would through the night" she kissed him again and got up off his lap and started to puttiing you supper away setting the the harder liquor on the table for him . With a glass . " do you want coffee tonight ?
She looked out the window as th fall winds blew around the farm " it sounds like banchies .. soon there will be snow "

Tosh chuckled as she hopped up on his lap and began braiding his beard "yes he needs to learn all that and how to do many other things. he may be a bastard and out of control but he deserves to know that we are leaving." he said as she worked "yes well he is a troubled man and it will take a few days to teach him and he will have to practice for a long time but he doesnt deserve someone to just desert him without telling him and showing him how to do work." he said shrugging. He smacked her ass as she got up off his laugh "ooh now thats a tight ass." he chuckled as he poured a glass of hard liquor when she brought it.
Tosh smiled as he dranks some hard liquor and thought about things "no i would not like coffee tonight, but in the morning i would like some." he said smiling to her as he took another drink. he was nowhere near drunk he had such a high tolerance now. he grabbed his book and opened it and began to read as he lit his pipe once again "yes i agree there will be snow soon but we should get to harvesting before there is my love otherwise it will be a cold winter and many things will be ruined." he said as he finished a chapter and set the book down "come my love sit on my lap and kiss me."

She would just now and let him decide how to deal with Devin. She shook her head at him and just sighed . He head such a peculiar dwarf . Not knowing the ways or understandings if his kind . He worked hard though and she could turn his head to look in the direction she wanted and like most dwarven women that was good enough . She finished cleaning up supper and got the coffee ready for the next morning .
She let out a little squeal as he loved patted her bottom . " yes well the onkybthing we have left is the squash we can do it this week . Even the small ones . "
She watched him sit back into his favorite chair and open his book " he knows how to work I've seen him do it he just doesn't put in half the work we do .. And I believe it because he knows we will do if all .. but then again he a faye and we dwarves and no one will ever work as hard as we do "
She grins at him " now how are you supposed to read your book , if I sit in your lap and kiss you tosh carver " she teased him a little bit

Tosh looked to her and smiled as she worked and talked "yes the squash is the main thing we need to do hopefully it has grown well." he said as he looked to his closed book and read the title "Macken and the halls of Valhalla" he chuckled at it. it was quite an interesting read. "well this book here is pretty interesting all about one man dying and going to the halls of valhalla and coming back." he said chuckling
Tosh sighed "oh i know he knows how to do some of it and he knows that he can do it but hes too busy knocking up his whores to do it. and i dont care what anybody says thats too many kids hes gonna lose control one day." he said as he puffed on his pipes a few times "he could relax with us here we do all the work as dwarves should but hard times will be coming for all of us." he said smiling to her
Tosh looked up to her when he finished "i dont need to read right now i want love from my wife and thats that. i can read another time but love from my wife only comes when we both want it." he said making a smoochy face at her "now come and kiss me or i shall pick you up and take you to bed." he sad as he set his pipe down now that it was empty.

She listen to him as he agreed with her. And she listen to him about his book that he was reading " why would he come back from Valhalla " she asked and then kind made a long sigh about devin" no one should have that many kids .. though I don't know they the like Devin really mind there kids once they are past the age of babies. So it probably matters not to him unfortunately. At least it got us started anyway . We put some money back and while things might be tight and we will be poor dwarven hall for a time." She winked at him " but. dwarves are never poor for long ."
" kiss you .. Or defy Nd get taken back the bed room , such hard choices ?" She acted like she was gonna think for a moment . She reaches behind her and untied her dress " o think I just might defy you " she walked back to the bedroom closed the door when he followed her.

Tosh chuckled "yes indeed i do not know why he came back from valhalla but he did perhaps just to write the story either way he came back to write this or told a wizard maybe." he said chuckling as he looked to her "yes once they are past the age of babies he dont care when he should he needs to take care of them like they would to him in old age or they will be spread to the ends of the earth." he said "yeah we will not be poor long that is true but we will still be poor for a little while." he said nodding
Tosh smiled "oh really your going to defy me young lady why i outta." he said threateningly as he watched her untie her dress and walk into the bedroom. He smiled wickedly and got up from his chair and began throwing his clothes on the ground until he was buck naked and ran to the bedroom opening the door and then closing it again "i love you dear."

She give a behind the closed door. As morning came and they were wrapped around each other and In the blankets her hair a mess .. And smile.on her face " good morning love " she ran her fingers over his braided.beard " it's nearly 4 am .. Time for.breakfast and work " She then kissed him and pulled her self a Way and untangled her self from the blankets. And put house dress on a house dress she brought his boots inside just by the door so they would Be warm for his feet it was. Cold and rainy day ..So she also made she to get his warm clothes out for him . As well as woolen socks and put hay in his shoes to keep his feet dry . As she made a hearty breakfast for him.
She had it all laid out for him by the time he awakened. Then while he was dressing and eating she would dress and join him for breakfast" I'll help you in fields since we both know Devin doesn't get up till 8 or 9 "
She smiled " then we can start preparing for or wedding trip and honey moon "

Tosh smiled looking to her he was a mess as well and looked to her as he awoke "good morning dear yes i mean we had a good day last night. its time to work oh fun." he said looking to her as he got up and got dressed in his work clothes "thank you for the warm boots my dear." he said as he washed his beard and face in the basin then moved to put his socks and shoes on. He moved to the table moving to his food.
Tosh looked to her smiling "okay that will be fine it shouldnt be too long." he said as he began to eat his food."well im sure he will eventually get up to help the lazy bastard." he said as he looked out to the fields "and yes we definetely need to do that. and that will take some planning." he said chuckling as he looked to her with a smile "i want it to be perfect for you my love." he said

Fawn got up from her breakfast as he agreed. Preparing herself for the day of harvesting. She walked out first leaving the door open for him. Going to the barn to help with the animals, getting fresh water and all that. Cleaning up what needs cleaning up. She looked over to the second house seeing an extra carriage " They have company wonder who it is?" She didn't give it much thought to it after that she the turned to her husband assuming he followed her " Are you cutting and I am carrying the squash to the wagon or am I cutting?"
Like any dwarf, they just simply got to work. As she brought out the small dwarven horse so that it could attach to the cart they would use.

Tosh went outside after fawn helping her in the barn with fresh food and hay and cleaning out the stalls, he noticed the extra carriage and shook his head "i dont know but they need to put that up before someone gets hurt. thats the whole point of staying you put stuff up." he said as he shook his head and finished up the whole barn and brought the animals in "okay barn is done now lets get to the squash." he said as he moved to the fields "you will cut i will take them to the wagon." he said
Tosh went out to the fields with fawn and as she cut he began to take the squash and carry it to the wagon he did this for a long time before looking to fawn "okay lets switch." he said as he began to cut "so what do you think we should tell devin and his family. that we are just leaving or what?" he asked as he walked up to her and kissing her cheek

She smiled as he kissed her cheek always so loving towards her. He was a good man "tosh you have no memory. We are just going to go check it out for now if it's not too decrepit or has been taken over by some swarming beasts then it's not worth it. We just happen to be getting married along the way and will use our honeymoon as a time to get there. We also don't know where it is. My father sent what he thought was the correct map. So, for now, we simply get married and travel for our honeymoon. " she shook her head at his forgetfulness muttering under breath how you could die from such a man.

Tosh chuckled and looked to her "i dont have a memory your right" he said as he began cutting "im telling you if its taken over by beasts im clearing it out alone it will be fun." he said "even if you dont like it ill clear it out for some other dwarven family." he said smiling to her as he cut and cut. "well im hoping that its good we need a nice dwarven home it will be so much fun." he said as he worked he began to pick up speed and left her behind for a short while.
Tosh smiled when she caught back up to us "yes it will be a good wedding and a amazing honeymoon i just hope there is a good place to stay here and there i bet there are many towns we can stay at that might know the way." he said as he rested for a second "so did you end up getting the clothes for the wedding?" he asked curiously as he ran his hands through his beard.

She shook her head again. Slapping him behind the head " tosh carver we have discussed almost all of this last night. And just a few moments before. I just said, my father, sent a map. And we leave to get the clothes tomorrow then head to the temple. What do you just automatically block my voice the moment it opens? " she then climbs aboard and takes off the wagon to dump the produce in storage and then comes back." Well, go on start the next field!"
" I am sure there will be many a fine place we can stay " finally responding to the rest if her question "you're going to kill me one of these days tosh carver. "

Tosh laughed and took the slap "i forgot half of what we spoke of and im sticking to my guns if its overrun im clearing it out." he said looking to her "and yes i know he sent the map we have to look it over." he said "and tomorrow okay we leave tomorrow ill remember that." he said as he looked to fawn smilng "yes i block the voice sometimes because usually its just nagging." he said as he smacked her butt as she left.
Tosh smiled looking to her as she came back "im going to kill you yeah right your going to kill me and literally." he said as he worked and worked hard "yes well this will be fun i say bring blankets when we go out just in case we want to stay in the wagon one night." he said as he would stop talking and keep working "you know what i cant believe devins ass isnt out here doing the work for his freaking farm." he said as he kept cutting

The final harvest had been made. Before the winter and fawn had started oacking the carriage first they would visit the Tol and get married. And then they would fly off to there adventure to see this abonded dwarf hall. It would be nice to see the culture of dwarves being brought back into tyran. " tosh not that iron pan the other one. No no the other one " she sighs and mumbles under her breath

Tosh sighed and looked to her "well they are all iron freaking pans why dont you want this one. is it too good not good enough what is it." he said looking to her annoyed "fine then we can take this one." he said holding up the other pan." he said looking to her and handing it to her "well should we tell him we left or just leave him be." he asked looking to her as he moved from the cupboard and stood up "i mean it will only be decent to do." he said as he walked to the door and looked outside to all the farm he was leaving.

She hopes down off the wagon " this pan is made for traveling. This pan is made for inside the house...dont you know the difference. Well you can tell him were going to get married and go on our honey moon if you like but the hall to yourself.. Like we discussed for the 12 millionth tosh carver " she takes scarf and dramatically wraps it around her head mumbling " you coukd die from such a man " as she went back inside to gather the last few bits of things.

Tosh sighed and walked outside moving slowly as he looked over the land he had four of the horses a few chickens in cages and a whole lot of other stuff in his cart. he walked to devins house slowly stopping by to see the animals and say bye to them and talking to the barn and such. he was a man who liked to say goodbye to everything. he finally made his way to devins house to knock on the door.
"Knock Knock Devin time to come out and say goodbye." he said as he waited at the door they had done so much here to build this life it was all too hard to say goodbye "hurry up i have to go get married and have my own damn honey moon." he said waiting for him to answer he was awfully slow today.

Devin came to the door a grin on his face a bottle of whiskey " yes I heard you screaming from across the farm.. Go have a good wedding and honeymoon " and with that he closed the door he was obviously busy with two wives..and with one in heat..well that was all tosh was gonna get out if Devin.
Fawn would go back to finish packing throwing a tarp over the things in back shaking her head.

Tosh sighed "really thats all im getting you crooked son of a bitch i deserved a conversation maybe it is good im leaving." he said as he moved from his house he decided to leave a big suck it message to devin as he moved with the mud and made a giant middle finger pointing at his house as he left. "well you will get that later." he said chuckling as he walked away and washed his hands
Tosh made his way back to the wagon and began organizing stuff so everything would fit. "my love how many more things do you need to bring we will run out of room soon." he said as he moved things around so atleast a few more boxes could fit "okay so i wonder who will marry us? i wonder if they know dwarves." he said shrugging looking to the home they had he hopped off the wagon and walked into his home for the last time

Tosh sighed as he looked to her "well the asshole just said have a good wedding and honeymoon nothing else and went back inside i made a mud effigy to show him how i feel about that and just left son of a bitch has no time for me when i worked on his farm making it what it is he can kiss my ass." he said as he looked to the wagon "whatever if he wants to be a ass then let him be." he said as he took what he could and put it in the wagon returning for whatever was left and proceeded to put it all up in the wagon then looked to fawn "well this is it he said as he moved to the and stood in the doorway "goodbye my home." he said as he patted it then moved to fawn "here come here and ill help you into the wagon." he said as he helped her into the wagon then jumped up himself "lets get out of here." he said
