Sinead Vargo: The goddess of light stood in the tower, watching the shard of light. She managed to split her soul not only for her knight, but also for herself. However, the recent events with her family had Sinead doubting herself. "Light.... guide me... what am I to do? Something feels wrong with me remaining here.... I think... I think I serve you better in other ways. Help me."
Hroo/Denn: Izanth had heard Sinead calling but somewhere far across the land in his little corner ofNight Haven another being had heard Sinead's call. His eyes popped open and he gave a yawn and a huge stretch showing his many fangs as he twisted his well toned furred muscles about. He hit his ear and head a few times as if trying to clear out the voices he heard but it was odd. He stood and growled a bit "And I was looking forward to some sleep today."
He got dressed and began to make his way to where he heard the voice.
Meanwhile Izanth came up beside Sinead placing her arms on the goddess.
"Sinead... what... I feel you are going through some of the issues I felt recnt. What is wrong? Can I be of help?"
Sinead vargo: Sinead allowed her priestess to come forward towards her, taking her hand. "The light is slowly expelling me.... I've allowed my mortal feelings to get too far involved. I'm needed by my family and for the first time in my life I think I should put them before my faith." She wasn't really sad, for Sinead knew that she could do more for her family and Tyran by working at her sister's side as demi-goddess.... focus on the city of light. However, she did feel lost.
"It's calling for someone... oddly enough, it's tired of my line. The Vargo's have changed... it's time for fresh blood"
Hroo/Denn: Izanth blinked and embraced Sinead "I am here for you no matter your decisions. But perhaps it is best that those of us with the raw emotions not be given such powers and instead support those around us." Izanth couldn;t admit that she wasn't sad though, she had grown very fond of Sinead.
Meanwhile Our hero knight of old made hsi way to the temple of light and hit at his tiger ear again as he felt the oices and the ringing as it began to seem to consume and overwhelm. He blinked a few times and looked left and right.
"Here? Maybe Izanth needs my help." He shrugged and began to make his way inside.
Sinead Vargo: "I will still remain loyal to my temple." She placed a hand over her heart. "This is my home, above all else. And Abigail as well as the rest of you will still need help- help I want to do. At first, I had hoped to step back so that my bias did not take over, but now I understand my bias can never leave. I've been a goddess for a very long time, twice for the light and once for creation. I've put my whole life into faith and I doubt that will stop anytime soon, but I think it's time for a change." She leaned forward to kiss Izanth's temple. "And if you ever need me, I will be here.... but this," she gestured to the light shard. "Is not my place anymore."
Sinead felt her heart flutter. "I think I can feel the light calling for someone."
Hroo/Denn: Izanth would embrace the soon to be former goddess and held her in her arms "I understand and i will continue to be here for you if you need my help or aid in anything. especially accustomizing to the life of the normal." She smiled and winked at Sinead just as Dennizen opene dthe doors to the temple and felt the rush of voices leading him to where Izanth and Sinead were.
"I heard voices. I heard them almost singing and crying out for me. Is there someway I can be of assistance?"
Sinead vargo: "Thank you, Izanth..." She smiled, glancing over to the doors. "Voices?" before she could say anymore, the shard of light pulled itself from Sinead's soul and shot forward to Den's. The light found it's perfect host. The old god line played its part and lead everyone up to the moment where Dawnstar's line would no longer rule the faith. Den's reaction to the light would be his own, but when he came to, he would find new powers and a new purpose.
Denn was taken aback as the shard of light shot into him and he felt himself drift into an odd sleep like state not having time for any reaction but that moment of surprise as he fell to the powers that would grow within him.
Izanth covered her mouth briefly seeing all this and moved to Denn and then looked back at Sinead "We should get him set up in here as he rests. As..." Izanth even though having never known how it happened or seeing it knew that her father had just become the new god. "I mean what is he going through, do you know?"
Sinead vargo: Sinead placed a protection spell around the three of them- no one would be able to enter until the new god awoke. "It's different for everyone, I think... Some forget that we were all born mortal before taking up this role." She glanced down at her own hands, powers weakening slowly. "However I know he will be in pure bliss when he does awake."
