JoshuaToday at 01:12 Joshua had finished final preparations for the burial ceremony of Mordred and Monet had seen to it that clear passage was offered to anyone who wanted to attend, of course any who said even a single word of disrespect would be automatically removed from the Carrion lands he sent a mental message to his sister. ~ Lyf it is time~ he then made his way to the altar set in front of the large bone coffin that was adorned with various gems and laced with gold throughout, on Monets chest was the mask that her son Zephyr had given her and on her face was her favourite mask the one that Lyf had shown him.
Mordred however was simply buried with his favourite bottle of absinthe, that was all he had asked for and Joshua saw no need to place anything else in the coffin with him all except the sword that had been made for Monet containing one of the six soul shards Joshua was now comprised of along with one still imbedded in Mordreds skull, and so with all preparations completed and the Carrion lands open to those who wished to attend he simply waited for people to arrive and take their seats.
LyfToday at 01:18
Lyf has used her magic to make the bodies as lifelike as possible and adding arrangements of flowers fitting for the burial of the sisters and brother dark red and black roses in full bloom along with deep purples adorned the viewing area. Lyf had also set up a shrine so that if anyone wished to leave something special they could and it would not move. She had made sure the servants would offer food and drink to those arriving. This would be the first time she could remember the carrion lands and their home being open to the public. Lyf would be adorned in purple and black with a veil over her face. While the manors various servants helped and directed people. All other room woukd be locked and off limits. And various hexes were put into place to thwart stealing and snooping.
BaracusToday at 01:20
As he shimmered into the Carrion Lands he forced back a grin, remembering why he was there, he wouldn't disrespect Monet with ill thoughts of her brother. He had left his axe and armor at the manor as this was not the sort of occasion to be well armed and armored, and thus anyone causing trouble would be met with magics. As each foot stepped towards the front entrance he could feel the wards active but not set. Just more reason to play nice for the next few hours.
He looked over to the woman accompanying him and spoke gently. "Your looking formal." He wouldn't say much of anything else as his better half had insisted he forgo the dusty leathers and metal in lieu of an actual suit, and tie. Formal clothes for a formal occasion and he was not enthusiastic about the style. Black slacks, ending in black boots, a white tunic, adorned by a black jacket. He had ditched the tie shortly after leaving Sorsha's sight.

There was a subtle spark followed by the flames of the very underworld, blue flashes hifting red and amber, silent it ignighted and out stepped the golden demi goddess of the darkness. Bedecked in formal silks of deep greys and midnight hue artfully draped over the feminine figure and trailing behind her,she moved with the otherworldly grace befitting her blood, down familair halls to the place he would be on display. Eyes of mercury, cold metallic shift would move over the surrounds, taking in this place for what she was certain was the last time.... she calling to mind the last time she had been here and the conversation they held... the events.... the hounds and the game. She smiled then, rare and somber it adorned her exqusite features, she offering but a nod to her Uncle and her Mother though she did not stop to speak to them, rather she moved to the coffin of Mordred and placed a hand upon its edge looking down upon it for a long moment as if a converation might be happening and yet no words were given that could be heard by anyone close at hand
Angeliques's hand moved to press to the center of his chest for just an instant and then fell away back to her side before she took a step back from the coffin then turning to move further to find a place to settle across the room from her mother and her uncle

A mother and son arrived in a solemn mood. The woman the twins had referred to as their Queen, as their Sun, was clad in black attire of mourning. A half dress with trousers and a blouse embroidered with silver thread, adorned with brushed platinum buckles. Platinum tresses were plaited in a crown of braids about her head. A silver bracelet clasped her left wrist, and circling her throat was a necklace recently given to her by Mordred during their last meeting only about a week ago. She had dozed off in her chair and awakened with a blanket and pillow, and the necklace sporting a black diamond engraved with the first initial of their son.
At her arm was Zephyr, standing tall and stoic at his mother's side. Black trousers, doublet and jerkin. He pulled his pale hair back from his face, clasping it at the nape of his neck with a black ribbon, yet somehow the pesky lavender strand always came free. He wasn't sure how he was meant to feel. His father had come into his life after having been absent for 18 years. He'd just become used to the idea of being family. Of learning from the man who behaved so differently for he and his mother than he did for the rest of the world. They laughed and jested and enjoyed each other's company. And then there was Monet. Zephyr regretted not meeting her.
They approached the casket the twins shared. It was fitting, Laelia knew. They would have wanted this. To be put to rest together so that perhaps they could know the oneness in death they had sought together in life. Reaching into her pocket, Laelia pulled forth a single griffon feather. White tipped with gold. It represented Laelia better than anything else she could have imagined. And she placed it in the casket, tucking it within their joined hands. For a moment her face screwed and her lips pursed. Zephyr's hand squeezed her arm. With a deep breath Laelia schooled her expression and pulled away from the casket, allowing Zephyr to lead her to a seat.(edited)

Shelzi arrived, surprisingly alone, but remained in the background, a slender, silent figure appropriately dressed in black. She gazed at two of Rayelina's children, laid out and gone the way of tragedy just like the rest of that line so far. She was shielding hard, the distance as much out of respect as it was personal protection. Funerals were terrible, horrible things for empaths.
JoshuaToday at 01:39 Joshua watched as people began to fill the room, the first to arrive was Baracus he once considered the man family but those days were long and dead, a woman entered shortly afterwards he did not know the woman and he simply watched her go to the casket and then find a seat, next up was the queen herself flanked by who he assumed was Zephyr he had met the other brother a few days prior to the funeral and he smirked to himself as the last time he's seen the queen she'd taken one of his arms, after her another woman entered and again he had no knowledge of who she was and a picture began to paint itself in his mind, there were many he did not know and that would need to change, he then bowed his head to Lyf and spoke. " When everyone has found a seat and settled we will begin "(edited)

*Sorshonna was dressed in a black formal gown that deeply v'ed at the neckline hugging her torso well before the skirting of the gown flared dramtically to the floor, her long firey tresses unbound to form abundant waves down to the small of her back, the dravidian circlet upon her head accented with deep blue sapphires and some other unknown stone of silvery appearance gleemed in the scant light. She stood at Baracus's side, her hand resting upon his forearm. "it is a formal occassion is it not, Love?" she responded to his words... "I see the tie lasted not so long"
LyfToday at 01:45
Lyf would greet her uncle and his guest she had hidden her face behind her thin veil to avoid the people seeing how horrid she looked after days of crying. She stood up by the caskets so as people made their rounds to view the bodies she could greet them and then have them directed. To their seats. Hugging or squeezing a hand as they did. She regarded laelia and her son Zephyr with care and put them in the front row with the immediate family. And doted on by the servants to attend to their needs as they wait for service. She knew Monet and Mordred would want it that way. She saw sheltzi in the back and understood her to need to keep a safe distance but would acknowledge her with a small wave.
JoshuaToday at 01:49 Joshua waited until everyone was properly seated and watched as Lyf had servants running around of the queen and her son but nobody else and couldn't help but laugh inside a little, he then stepped to the side of the altar and motioned for Lyf to step up so she could say a few words. " If everyone is seated Lyf here has a few words to say about our brother and sister "
Too Many KalibasToday at 01:51
"Thank you, Lyf." Zephyr said, mustering a bit of a smile at her and gave her a hug. "Come visit me at Blackthorn sometime, yeah?"
Laelia nodded her thanks to Lyf at being seated in a place of honour amongst the family and would squeeze her hand. She waved the servants away. The gesture was kind and thoughtful, but they weren't necessary at the moment.
Marnie RippleToday at 01:54
Shelzi managed a small smile and nod for Lyf. She'd raised that little girl like her own for years before the twins collected her. But always she'd kept watch, never as close as she wanted to be. It was sad. It was all so terribly sad.

Baracus his girlfriend and Angelique would also be stated on the family side as Baracus and monet had a special relationship even though amounts the chaos and Angelique was, of course, the mother of one of his sons. demonicus(edited)
BaracusToday at 02:01
He reached up and rubbed where the tie was. "It was too tight." He looked over as Angel passed by and then back. He could see the twins from where they stood and at some point would go pay his last respects to Monet. "As old as I am I never thought Id bury my sisters line before someone buried me." His eyes glanced back to her. "Such a waste losing her."(edited)
AmikaToday at 02:01
Amika appeared. She heard of Mordred's death, along side his sister, Monet. She wore a black dress with lace adorning the skirt and up the nape. Her long red hair in a french braid down her back, revealing her short horns upon her head. Her outfit was...Modest. She would opt to stay near the back. She knew she was outcasted from this family that wasn't even hers. Denying Mordred just a few days before his death...after their fight. Somehow...she found her way here....It would provide her closure.
JoshuaToday at 02:04 Joshua's eyes fixed on Amika and he looked to his sister and pointed the woman out. " You are not welcome here demon, but this is a funeral so you may stay till the end then you will never set foot in these lands ever again "
LyfToday at 02:04
Amika, however, would sit not a place of honor and would be directed to any normal seats. Meant for the common rabble she expected to show up simply because the grounds were open and wanted to see for themaelves the death.(edited)
AmikaToday at 02:05
(Amika) purple swirls looked to Joshua. "I dont plan to....came to see with my own eyes the truth..." she stated simply. She wouldn't sit, but she would be near the back. She wasn't going to be here long.
Aiden DelacroixToday at 02:08
Trent Kaliba arrived, a cape of deep black over suit of the same. He came not out of some sentimental obligation. But perhaps out of sympathy for his sister and her poor luck in associations. The grief of the crowd to him, was palpatable, regrettable. But the world had forgot the simple reality. Despite the crowing, the posturing-
"There is no such thing as the Boogeyman." He said in a moment's whisper as he fell in step beside Shelzi. It was a shame. Monet and Mordred both were on the list for his Cabal. A waste of potential. Of talent. Of pieces. He was glad he had went to Monet when he had... witnesseed the greatness robbed of the world, by Madness and Obsession. Whose?
it was no longer time to speculate.
JoshuaToday at 02:10 Joshua did however know the next man who entered, the one he had nicknamed Mr Winky who he simply flashed a grin and a wink as he took a place behind the other person hiding at the back. " Well I don't think any more guests will be arriving so lets get the ceremony going shall we? " the last part of his statement he said while looking too his sister.
LyfToday at 02:14
She nodded to trent and made sure he was seated close to his family and nephew. In the row behind them it was . It was then Lyf atood to the front.
She nodded to Trent and made sure he was seated close to his family and nephew. In the row behind them, it was. It was then Lyf stood to the front. And started to speak her voice waivers and cracked obvious that she had been crying for most of the day. (C)
To some, my brother and my sister are only remembered by their acts of evil and tragedy But to us and those gathered here, we remember them by their wholehearted devotion to the family. Their unrelenting love that everyone within there tiny circle remained protected. Today we remember their life and who they choose to be.
Mordred will always be remembered by me as a doting brother, a kind man who always put the needs of those under his care before his own and love he carried for his sons and grandchildren. (C)
Monet will always be remembered as a woman whose devotion was so strong that she followed her life and soulmate into death. She stood by those she loved and those she cared about and protected them just fiercely. She will be remembered as a mother to two so as well.
The Vargo slogan was unbound and unbroken and think this relates best now than ever. Let us not choose to be bound to tragedy any longer and let us not be broken by dead promises on dead lips but look to the to the present and the future and to live in what was the best of them. Loyal devoted and protective of what they loved. Thank you. (C)
Sje kept it short a sweet at her she knew Mordred and Monet woukd want as little fuss as possible. " my brother woukd like to say a few words and then we will open the floor to all those in attendance "(e)(edited)
AmikaToday at 02:23
didn't say anything. Just stayed quiet
JoshuaToday at 02:24 Joshua had only known the twins a few short weeks and in those weeks he had watched them change a lot and they also changed him, and as he thought about all the wasted opportunity as he made his walk to the altar he would let his gaze move from one attendant to the next and the first thing he did was laugh, his usual insane laugh before speaking. " Well isn't this a day of sorrow, I see many faces here today, some I know " he looked to Laelia and Baracus. " And some I don't " he looked to the rest. " I only know the twins a few short weeks, but in those weeks I saw two people connected in a way that most of us could never even begin the fathom, they lived for each other and died for each other, truly eternals indeed "(c)(edited)
He then looked to Laelia and Zephyr. " The queen, the lover of both Mordred and Monet, to many a rather strange and complicated relationship, some might even say one at cross purposes and yet my sister gained a son, one she regrets never being able to meet but who she had an undying love for " then his attention turned to Baracus. " The all father of old, the servant of evil, they say you shared a special bond with my sister, and a fierce rivalry with my brother, one that you will never have the chance to finish be it from it fear or stubbornness who knows but I know they would both appreciate you attendance here today "(c)
The next people in his sights were those at the back. " And to our guests hiding in the shadows, I don't have much to say about you as I know not your names or your reasons for being here, as for you Trent " he finally used the mans real name. " My sister was excited to train with you alas my brother had other ideas, how silly jealousy and pride are, perhaps had she have received your undoubtedly world class tutelage she may still be here with us but alas it was not meant to be " after addressing all the guests he turned to face the coffin and smiled. " You were both taken too soon by a petty, bitter, shrivelled up old hag of a demi god that finally got her wish to go live in peace, if such a thing truly exists, you will both be sorely missed " he turned his head to look back at the guests. " By some at least, others however are here to stroke their own egos or to pretend like they care, so now I hand the floor over to anyone who wishes to say a few words and present offering before the bodies are finally laid to rest " with that he stepped to the side and waited to see if anyone wished to say their final words.(e)(edited)

Sorshonna squeezed Baracus's arm and shook her head knowing he would want to say something regarding what was just said, she thought this not the time nor place
Aiden DelacroixToday at 02:37
Trent lifted up his hand to his mouth, stiffling a dry cough. Stirring. Riveting. He glanced to his sister, as Lyf had made sure he took a seat near his sister. His hand for a moment went against her shoulder, and he leaned in to whisper something in her ear.
LyfToday at 02:39
She looked her brother Joshua a look of shock on her face thinking she probably should have spoke last. And through her veil she offered anyone he unintentionally insulted an apologetic look.(edited)
BaracusToday at 02:46
With Sorsha's hand in his he listened as Lyf gave her well spoken, and well managed speech. He was hanging on every word, He nodded to the places when she looked at him and as he had told her earlier, he was there if she ever wanted to know the truth about him. Sweet, innocent, and full out decent he was enthralled by her words and moved by her words.
Then Joshua stepped up. And in true Joshua fashion as he knew, the fan and shyt was placed very close and people waited. First the news about the Queen, airing her private life so openly but did explain much as to her decision to close the church inside the city. Then he spoke of the twins and their bond, and it was something he had wished for Monet's sake was severed but alas it was not. Then he spoke of the title Baracus had garnered as the All Father and the bond between him and Monet. Nodding to the favorable connection he smiled. And even to that of the rivalry between Mordred and himself. After that he moved to those in the back, and it did not take a genius to know when he must have been speaking of Amika. Holding his opinions he looked to the Queen, she out ranked him and he would speak but in due time.
Too Many KalibasToday at 03:09
Laelia's eyes lifted and stared at Joshua, a deep seated rage flickering behind icy blue eyes. Her lips pursed and she glanced over at her brother as he leaned over to whisper in her ear. She inhaled sharply and rose to her feet. Joshua spreading blatant misinformation was irritating, but even moreso was his lackluster eulogy.
"I would like to say something in honour of Mordred and Monet Vargo." She said, her voice solemn but clearly projected and easily heard. "Though it has been many years" Laelia eyed Joshua sternly, "since we were involved, I have always maintained a deep love for them and I know them well."
"Mordred Vargo was not a good man. I don't think there is anyone in their right mind who could argue that. But he was a passionate man. An ambitious man. A proud man. And those are traits that, despite the often dire consequences, a person could respect and admire despite however one might feel about him otherwise. Mordred never let anything stand in the way of what he wanted. Not fear, not consequence. He fought and became a god. He fought and became a King. He won...and he also lost. He has truly done it all. A life fully lived."
"Monet was dark and beautiful. She had a love for knives. Her past was tragic, beginning as Anathema and blossoming into the work of art that was Monet. She was ridiculously forgiving." Laelia smiled ruefully. "And despite the horrors she committed, she was also capable of great kindness and compassion. She loved her family deeply and desperately wanted to have the connections with them that she lacked when she was younger. But that was nothing compared to what she felt for Mordred."
"Mordred and Monet were one soul born in two bodies. Two halves of one whole being. Separated at birth, they have spent their entire lives seeking one another and the wholeness that only being with the other could bring. It is my deepest wish that they find the oneness and completion they craved now that they are no longer bound by the physical trappings of life."
Finished, Laelia sat down to allow others to say their piece.
LyfToday at 03:15
She nodded to laelia she had said so much she coudn't say through her grief. It was wonderful speech after joshuas outburstb
AmikaToday at 03:18
listened to Laelia's words. They hit the nail on the head. She didn't go up to speak. She doubted that they would want to hear from her. It wasn't her place...not anymore
BaracusToday at 03:27
Listening to Laelia speak he had to admit she was far more truthful than he would like to admit. And with her setting the record differently than Joshua he knew it would be up to the audience which to put more credit into. As much as he wanted to believe Joshua's version, it was the Queens that came across more plausible and possible.
He would wait a moment before he would stand and move forward to the forefront of the room. His gaze fluttered over Mordred quickly and slowly over Monet. Turning he looked over the crowd and the memories of public speaking flooded back and he cleared his throat. "Thank You Your Majesty, Fine words, I hope I can follow them with due justice." He shifted nervously and glanced to Sorsha regaining his courage to speak. He could stare down legions of horrid creatures, but a room of fancy dressed stiffs and he stalls.
"Well, Id like to begin by stating the obvious. Anyone who knew Mordred and Myself knew I didn't care much for him. Wasn't always like that, but I didnt know him so I'm not going to venture into pretending I did."
"Monet on the other hand, was a doll. Probably one of the few from my sisters line who I ever got to know. I crafted her a dagger, we shared some difficult memories. But never once did I lump her in with her brother. I knew she had to have a special bond to stay with him but in the end, it was her demise. But as long as she lived a happy life, who am I to fault her for her hearts direction. She will truly be missed."
With than he would head back to his seat with Sorsha and allow the next person to speak.
Marnie RippleToday at 03:29
Shelzi bowed her head, praying although who knows to what or who. Without a word to anyone, she turned and took her leave. This was not the occasion to make her personal excuses for the way things had gone. Nor did the fault for it lie solely on her shoulders.
She'd failed in so many ways. It was a burden she'd carry the rest of her life.
EvangelineToday at 03:29
Angelique had been sitting there silent beginning to wonder if she had wandered into the wrong funeral or some alternate dimision when she heard Mordred being called a kind man. When Laelia spoke finally she was relieved by her words, taking them as confirmation that she was in fact in the proper place afterall
She understood why Lyf would want to remember him as a kind man who served his family above all but that was not the truth. He was neither kind nor generous and he served himself first and foremost and thought of his family as only his first afterthought, a first thought after his own desires were sated weather great or petty and usually began with an apology for his other half after such selfish persuits.... Monet, who knew what she might have been if she were not so forgiving, but to love the being at her side in that coffin and to be tied to him meant she had to bend until atlast he finally broke them both Was it love? Was it the mating and splitting of one souls in two or was it the ultimate form of vanity, for who could be better to love than yourself in a mirrors form.... anyone who had ever spoken to Mordred knew he had a deep rooted love for himself so was it true love or was it obsession?* *
Obsession... the word came to mind. He had always been obsessed with revenge for the wrongs he viewed to have suffered at the hands of the fearful of Caimen.... and She, Monet, had been obsessed with him and he in turn with her... that obsesion had led them to share the jeweled box in which they now lay. It had led to much loss, much pain, so many acts that in the end mattered not as this was where they laid(edited)
Her mind trailed back thru the years, thru the words and the deeds and the steps to a moment in a home filled with fresh death and unclaimed souls....that first moment and she smiled a somber smile. For all the truth to her thoughts, to all the faults and slights and to the act she had never been able to forgive him, he had once been something more than he was now and that was what she chose to remember. She could not put that into words, what words could be offered now that would hold that sentiment without also holding that slight and it was beyond that now. She remembered the first moments in a temple long ago and small hands and small feet, large eyes looking up expectantly. Her mind moved there and remained as her Uncle spoke(edited)
JoshuaToday at 03:46 Joshua watched as they all took their turns to say final words and share thoughts, he found the whole thing rather dull but he knew it had to be done, he stepped back to the altar and looked round the room. " Well I thank you all for sharing your memories and thought of Mordred and Monet, but now it's time to finally lay them to rest once and for all " he walked to the bone coffin and ran his hand across the sword in between the two and grinned. " Guard it well for me " he kissed Monet on the head then with a gesture of his hand and a dark spell large bone hands reached up and pulled the coffin down deep into the ground where they would find their final resting place next to their mother and father.
With that he turned to face the room. " And so it is the Twins laid to rest for eternity, and now you can all leave " he said nothing else for there was nothing else to say, there was no reason for any of them to stay, he was well aware none of them liked him or even knew anything about him, and he'd have it stay that way, the fool, the bastard, the idiot, the more they underestimated the more pleasure he would take in tormenting them.
AmikaToday at 03:46
with the funeral done, she took one last look at the coffins before she turned to leave.
LyfToday at 03:47
She stood uo " refreshments and foods will be served in the main room..for those who wish to stay a little longer " she gave Josh a look again(edited)
JoshuaToday at 03:50 Joshua shrugged and smirked. " Yes refreshments indeed, how rude of me " he then looked to Lyf. " Seeing as you have put in so much effort already Lyf how about you see to it that our guests leave when they've over stayed their welcome " he then walked over to Zephyr. " Follow me I have something for you, a parting gift from your mother ".(edited)

Zephyr frowned, glancing over at his mother. "I'll be right back." He stood and folded his arms over his chest, following Joshua.

Travine did not attend the funeral of the twins. If she would of, it would only have been as a support to Joshua as she had agreed to stand by his side through everything. This however was something that he would do without her, knowing that she did not really know the twins and that she would not want to see certain people who would possibly show for it. Instead Travine stayed within the tower, though she had been given free roam of the land by Mordred when they made their pact and buried the hatchet between them. Her back planted against the platform as her feet dangled over the edge above the very vortex in which strip people of emotions. Those onyx hues staring up at the large orb above(edited)
EvangelineToday at 03:59
Arose from her place and moved to kiss her mothers cheek, she did not speak to her or to her Uncle nor did she meet their gaze. Angelique simply made her way from the room and down a long corridor, the fires of the underworld alighting at her feet in midstep and she departing from view
LyfToday at 03:59
Did not say a word to josh as he left like he did. She just simoly watched him leave. And led those to the main room for drink and refreshments. This place had become a graveyard and lyf( pronounced life ) found it painful to live here.
JoshuaToday at 03:59 Joshua led him to a little side room full of various treasures and artefacts but what Joshua reached for was the blade known as Darkling and as he turned he held it out. " Your mother treasured this blade and wanted it to be passed on to you, so here I am passing it to you Zephyr may it serve you as well as it did her, now you may not think very highly of me and I don't expect you to, hell I only rejoined this family a few weeks ago myself but your mother loved you deeply and her biggest regret was not being able to connect with you "
EvangelineToday at 04:03
Sorshonna looked after her daughter and then met Baras gaze, leaning closer she spoke softly to him. "Im going to speak to her, I think she may need me for a change." She kissed his cheek and smiled softly before she moved after her daughter
Too Many KalibasToday at 04:04
Slowly Zephyr extended his hands to accept the slender sword. He handled it with reverence, testing the weight of the blade and feeling the essence of Monet mingled with the blade. "I...can feel her here. Mom had this blade made for her. To show her...she loved her." The sentiment wasn't lost on him. "Thank you. This means a lot to me."
JoshuaToday at 04:07 Joshua bowed his head and actually gave him a genuine smile. " If it helps her final thoughts were of you on your brother, speaking of which he was here a few days ago, to pay his last respects to Monet, he is having her armour to reforge for himself but he spoke of revenge, I have left the woman Abigail to live in peace as going after her at this point is now redundant, he'll not listen to me nor would I expect him to but perhaps he may listen to you or your mother? "
Too Many KalibasToday at 04:13
Zephyr rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "Revenge for what? Their death wasn't murder. A fairly fought battle that they both knew the potential consequences of. It's tragic. It's sad. But revenge? Naw." He tucked the lavender tendril behind his ear. "I've never met him. But if I do...I'll talk to him."
BaracusToday at 04:13
He would nod to Sorshonna, and release her arm, he would move to possibly get poisoned by the food. Hoping Joshua was not in charge of cooking.
LyfToday at 04:14
Lyf did her best to entertain everyone answering question about painting objects but nothing in the room belonged to her anymore. Mordred had left it to someone who never even honor their parent's bodies. The memories in this place. Nothing not even her mothers things belonged to lyf for they were all entrusted to the next heir and that heir was Joshua. Though this day she let nothing of that known to anyone. She smiked she laughed at the memories. She poured drinks she entertained, essentially they had left lyf with nothing. She would only stay for as long as needed in the mix of company.
JoshuaToday at 04:15 Joshua bowed his head and laughed. " Who knows why anyone seeks revenge, it's a foreign concept to me along with many others, as you could probably tell from my words in there, I haven't had much interaction with..... " People " but I thank you for coming and hope the blade serves you well Zephyr, you are their son and so these lands such as they are will always be open to you, go be with your mother she will need you now "
Aiden DelacroixToday at 04:16
Later. Moves to be made later. Laelia had never required much, so he offered little at this time. Better for him to take his leave. The world had seen enough tragedy for one day.
Too Many KalibasToday at 04:19
Zephyr smiled slightly in response. "Thank you. I uh...I guess you're my uncle, huh? Maybe we'll get along. Or maybe we won't." He shrugged. "But I'll give you a chance all the same, just like I did with my father. Time will tell. Be well, Uncle." He said and buckled the sword belt on his waist before exiting the room to move back out to attend to his mother.
"Hey Lyf." He moved up to hug his Aunt. "I think I should get mom out of here, you know? But I meant what I said. Come see me at Blackthorn, ok?"
JoshuaToday at 04:22 Joshua would join the others in the main room instead he took his leave and returned to his tower, there were plans to set in motion and he knew it wouldn't be long before somebody decided to either try killing him or removing him from the land inherited by him through his birth right.

(Dreanna) had been at the funeral, but had masked her presence. Only a few would feel the touch of a delicate hand on their shoulder in support, hello, or comfort. No words would need to be said by her at the funeral. Joshua and Lyf would feel a warm hug (wanted or not) by her after the coffin was lowered and the guests had left. Dreanna, matriarch of the family, would then later appear down in the room where three coffins rested. A single tear was all that needed be shed at the loss. There was a great deal of history between her and her grandchildren, good and bad. Never would she think ill of them though, and as she paid her final respects to them, she then walked over to her daughter Rayelina's coffin. "They're at peace now daughter. One less thing for your soul to be pained over. Rest easier, and continue to watch over the rest of the family from where you are, as I watch over them here." Then Dreanna was gone again, back to the place people could not find her and yet she could watch over them.

Sinead has spent her time recovering in Deerford with Avaraine, but the funeral was something that finally drew her out of hiding. She remained quiet and in the back, not too far from her mother who had similar ideas.
She did not make her presence known, but she did reach out to the grave of the twins, bowing her head in a prayer to the light. She had to wonder if the light could even have a grip on either of the twins souls, but she knew there was love inside them.
“I’m sorry I could not do more for you.” She whispered before turning her back on the crowd of people. Her gaze lingered on Joshua and Lyf, hoping that now she could do more for them.
