The nice thing was the boat ride was fairly short between tyran and Ashousau and the capital city of Isparia it was only short a few days of a month. Which compares to some places would be a dream.
The queen and her party would get the highest level of security from both her military here and the kingdoms own military. While several meetings would take place with king and queen and their family of Ashousau. The queen laelia and her party would have time to rest and relax from their journey, spend time with her generals getting updated, and maybe even time to explore a little on her own before the formalities of this very different royal court.
As the queen and Ehren and party traveled through or over the city( if the queen chooses to fly ), this is what they would see.
When first getting into the docks it would be like running into complete and total chaos. This was a well-developed country, who had started trading with other countries of the continent, but for the first time, they were willing to the treaty with another country and allow a small military presence. This was because Tyran was ruled by Laelia who valued knowledge and education. Any influence even a small beginning meant education, commerce, and a better life for her people. The presence of trade, and now the established trade routes would mean trust, and trust meant the military presence could be enlarged. Most importantly a certain amount of safety could be established.
The native people themselves would have bronzed skin, dark eyes, dark hair and wore their hair a bit differently. The culture of greetings would be different because boundaries were different. Such as Children mostly ran around naked or barely clothed until puberty. There would be a variety of humanoid creatures just like Tyran. Of course the same but different species
The place was hot- very hot. Armour would almost be impossible to wear unless one wished to bake themselves in a metal oven, though for a short time would be okay.
The capital Isparia and heart of the country sat at the edge of the sea where the sea fed a river that flowed deep into the country providing water. It then branches off into river streams and in some place pooling up to make freshwater ponds, fresh drinking water, bathhouses, and thick vegetation would be.
The markets which were set just beside the docks and along the river (some in river boats) were busy, loud, chaotic, and colorful; each selling different items. The populations boosted into the thousands. The smell was different too. The main docks smelled as you would expect them, fishy, human sweat, salty. As you would get deeper into the market the smell of the countries spices garlic, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, fennel, a variety of thyme- even juniper.
Around the capital of Isparia was fairly green river crops and fruit trees such as the date, fig, and pomegranate grew naturally. They had wheat too but a different variety called emmer. There was a variety of beans and root crops, not that much different, just the species and the look was different then compared with tyran.
The architecture would mostly be stone or mud bricks since trees and wood, in general, were not available. The designs and art would be the most impressive and exquisite one has ever seen. Towering temples made of stone, and most of the art and architecture would flow around the religion and veneration of the gods. Towering Godhead figures and temples that were colossal sized. Sometimes towering 90 feet in height. ( higher than a 7 story building )
Beyond the grassy plains of the river, the horizon held large swathes of dunes and sand. A large desert separating the mountain range which separated the country from the rest of the continent. The mountains were mined for precious metals.
Just Outside the capital, not too far away. Would be the military base, fully established. Local craftsman were working on housing outside the base for military, and merchant families who wished to make their stay in the country a little more permanent.
Everyone was educated on local customs and greetings. This little suburb would help retain their own culture.
The queen and Ehren, would be set up inside the military base, having been well educated on customs before arrival including language. Several interpreters would also be available one of them Maggie. She has shown quite the skill to learn languages quickly.
