It has been some time, hasn't it? Krixia spent every waking moment split between taking care of people who came to her (that knew how to find her), with herbs and potions, aiding nature, aiding beasts, and visiting the Vargos that actually called her mother or at least friend. The youngest of Sinead's children had become so precious to her, as well, of course, as Rhemilya, her own daughter with Sinead. Then there was time with the few allies she had gained, and the 'friends' she had made, which she could truly count on the fingers of one hand.
Fortunately for her, she was aging considerably well. Whether it be due to what she was created from, or the spirits offering silent and contractual boon to her for her service, or perhaps a combination of both. Either way, it didn't mean she was ever really, truly rested. The few, rare times she could consider herself rested was when she would be allowed company with Sinead.
She'd mentioned this wariness to her heart's desire in the past, but found it more difficult to actually do anything about it than she imagined. Timing was the most crucial thing. Not only that, but it became more difficult to rest the longer she stayed away from other people, the beast inside of her body growing more to the forefront so often.
Knowing this, and knowing that it was time to see about enlisting aid, finally, Krixia found a sustainable resting spot for several hours. Not wasting time during those hours, at the risk of losing sleep.
This particular summoning really did not take anything more than what was already about her within nature, but it was a lengthy one. Walking barefoot up to the edge of a large, clear, pristine pond, the shifter smiled as she looked at what creatures inhabited the small body. Closing her eyes, she grounded herself and connected her vision and hearing to all the creatures and plants around her in a wide radius around herself, needing to know of potential interruptions.
Once she was comfortable with knowing she was sufficiently unbothered, both hands grabbed her gnarled wooden staff, holding it in front of her, resting it upon the ground. Concentrating, a line of green and white tendril like energy lifted up from the ground in a circle around her that started to raise in a wavy pattern, disappearing just as another one rose from the ground as well. The wind started to pick up slightly, ripples lightly expanded outward from her on the pond and the grass behind her and to her sides swayed outward from her focal point.
Though she never opened her mouth to speak, a voice most certainly reached many, many people across the lands that day. Anyone who had an affinity for nature. A love for nature. A protective feeling towards animals. A desire to commune with spirits for the benefit of the world they lived on. Anyone who would call themselves protectors of any aspect of nature, despite their alignment towards 'light' or 'darkness' would hear, if they were open to such, the following message:
"I call upon you. The Shaman asks you for aid. Have it in your spirit and your heart to serve nature. Serve the spirits. Should you wish to learn, seek me out. I am often found wherever I am needed amidst any forest. Simply wander until you feel you are no longer where you once were, and there I will be. Should you know or do this already, I would ask you, share meditations and spiritual awareness to those who have the want."
The message fades. Energy around her fades away. The connection to the nearby plants and animals is released. She did not even realize it, she was so tired, but a lone panther had made its way to her presence, sitting and waiting patiently. Sensing the presence now that she was focused again, she smiled widely. Eyes close and her head tilts back. She purrs loudly in her chest, a sign of the panther to step closer. Closer, it did. "Mmmm, you are fed. Good..."
Wanting something to, in all honestly, snuggle up to, and rest against in her now tired state, she lowered to her knees and put her staff beside her. When hands moved up to grab the panther by the head, the staff turned into a dark brown snake and writhed up her body until it coiled around her left forearm.
A growl came from her as she butted her head against the panthers and the two creatures nudged back and forth before Krixia moved to all fours. The panther drew close and half coiled around her form, to which she accepted gratefully as a makeshift bed, laying herself against her new friend as comfortably as she could without putting unwanted weight down. As her eyes closed, the two drifted off into a peaceful slumber, Krixia knowing it would only last her a short while before she would need to move once more.
