Rose let out a soft sigh as she reached out and grabbed her mug of water.She then took a couple of sips from her mug an soon set it back down on the table.She reached for a napkin but had to turn her head away for she started to sneeze alot.After she finished sneezing she turned her head back around and felt a few warm drops of something upon her right hand.She looked down an she softly gasped as she quickly reached for her napkin.Rose had gotten a bloody nose which was common when your with child.But in the process of getting her napkin,she had tipped over her mug of water which made a loud thud noise.

(Sonic) laughs a bit and then everything starts cleaning up the pitcher of water refills the mug, towels dry the table and a second towel wipes off her leg. A small handkerchief covers her nose and he says " what am I going to do with you? " in a joking manner.

Rose softly giggled a little bit as she stared at him with her deep emerald green eyes.She then very softly spoke"I have been pushing myself a bit to much while you were gone.I was very afraid that you would never come back and that i would have to raise our child alone.I have seen what sadness does to both humans and elves alike.I felt myself slowly slipping into the darkness and no matter what i tried to do i could not pull out of it myself."She soon started to tremble and tears started to roll down her cheeks an land softly upon her lap and on the wooden floor.He would be able to see that she had suffered a lot while he was gone and that she had countless nights were she did not sleep.Her long silver hair flowed around her in soft lose waves and her complexion was still a bit off even though she had eaten a bit of food and had something to drink.

(Sonic) smiles and says " you know I'm immortal, and honestly where would I go? I have a kingdom to run, a family to watch after and no reason to leave. " seeing her tears he knew not what to say or do, Emotion was something he lacked and his ability to emulate it was limited. a steep price that was paid for the power he was born with.

Rose softly smiled as they sat on the swing together.She laid her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes an sweetly spoke"Darling we could have easily got up from the table and walked outside to sit on the swing.You should learn not to use your power all the time.I feel like you are taking the easy way out instead of trying to do it with out magic.I am sorry if i sound harsh but i take great pride and trying to do things by not using magic all the time."she then placed her right hand into his hand.

Rose softly nodded as she closed her eyes and she laid her head upon his shoulder.She was slowly drifting off to sleep.She needed the rest for while he was gone,she did not get much sleep at all.The child she carried would soon be born into the world.For it would come any time now from what her midwife had told her.Rose did not now when or what day though.

Rose was in a lot of pain.She had called for her midwife and she came running.Behind locked doors there was a lot screaming and moaning then sound of her crying.She had lost the baby.the baby was still born.The baby was a male and how it died was it had the cord wrapped around its neck.The midwife cleaned rose up and left her alone as she wrapped the baby in a cloth and carried it out of the room and out of the house.Not to far away from the house was a grave site and the baby was placed in the grave and covered and and a beautiful grave stone rested upon the head of the grave.The midwife soon left Rose and went to seek work else where.Rose laid in bed as she cried and waited for Sonic to tell him what happened but she did not know if he would show up for he was gone for so long.

Sonic was in the War room of the palace discussing troupe movements with Dreedroar. this was the first time he had been back to the palace in months, the War with the Highlands people having drug out far longer than he had wished.
Sonic) " Dreedroar, If we move 2nd battalion to the eastern flank and move the 1st rider Division in from the south west maybe we can push them back into the Northern pass. "
Dreedroar) " indeed, I think that will work; However, I think the artillery division should " he pauses as He and Sonic look to each other. " Go find out what has happened. "
Sonic nods and teleports home to see his Wife in tear. " Tell me what has happened. "

Rose held on to Sonic as she cried.After a little while she had fallen asleep in his arms as tears still fell from her eyes.She was in a deep sleep but it was peaceful.Her long silver hair flowed over his arm and down onto the bed and she had tightly gripped his shirt in til her knuckles were white and she was not letting go anytime soon.She did however wonder what Sonic was thinking before she had fallen asleep.The blanket was pulled up to cover Sonic's arms as he held onto her as she slept.

Sonic scoops her up up and carries her to the bedroom, his mind was flooding with thoughts of how he was being a bad husband because he had to be a good king during war, of how he was going to explane wheres he been to rose, wondering why Luna'sera would take his child.

Rose was still in a deep sleep in sonic's arms as he carried her to the bedroom.Her grip on his shirt had loosen up a lot to the point that she was barely holding onto his shirt.Her long silver hair fell over his arm and floated behind her as he walked with her in his arms.She would stir in her sleep here and there and would kinda snuggle her face into his chest a bit as she slept.

Rose was still asleep as she pulled the blanket closer around her and she softly sneezed in her sleep.there on the chair not to far away from the window,all folded up nice and neat was a cloak that rose had made for Sonic.In between the fabric layers was a layer of dragon scales.She had hand made it for him to protect him.Around the collar of the cloak was rabbit fur trim.She snggled her face into the pillow a bit as she softly spoke out loud"I love you.Sonic.I miss you so much when your gone."She did not know if he was still near her or not.

Sonic would see the cloak and put it on, smiling he would say " I love you too. " before leaving his pendant on the chair, and flying out the window to regenerate in the moon light, the pendant being a sign that nomatter what he would always find a way to return.

Rose woke up in the middle of the night and found that she was alone again.She got out of bed and closed the window for she had caught a bit of a chill.She then turned her gaze to the chair after she had closed the window and saw that the cloak was gone and that there was a pendant on the chair.She walked over and picked up the pendant and looked towards the window and she softly spoke"Sonic."She then put the pendant on around her neck and turned around and crawled back into the very large bed and covered herself up in the blankets and sat in the dark room.She used her bond to her dragon Axel and spoke to him"Axel maybe i should go into crystal sleep while waiting for Sonic,What do you think?" Axel replied"Besides me,Lord Sonic would be able to awake you from your crystal sleep.If you chose to do so i will protect you in my cave until he comes back."She replied back to him"I will need a bit of time to think."Axel answered back"As you wish,my rider."

sonic would be flying when he was joined by Dreedroar. he sighs and asks " what do you do when both your options lead to the same end? " he laughs and says " I've asked my self that for many an eon, what is on your mind friend? " sonic looks to him and says " If I return to the front line and fight the war in a civil manner, it will strain my marriage, but it I end it with .. " Dreedroar cuts him off saying " She would never forgive you if you used that part of your self. she is in pain but she has known sense she was a girl that your life as king often keeps you away from home. It's a fact I'm sure she fully understood when she married you. Protect your kingdom, and indoing so Protect her, when this is over you will take a vacation and spend time with your wife. " sonic smiles and says " thank you friend. " he telepathically tell rose " I love you, I'll be home as soon as I can. "

Rose woke up so suddenly whens he received the telepathic message from Sonic.She softly smiled to herself as she then quickly answered him back"An i love you."She got out of bed and quickly changed into her gown and place a warm cloak on and she thought for a bit"who can i summon from our kingdom to deliver a message to the king. Dreedroar is with the king and is always busy because of him."She was very deep in thought, that she walked out of their home in Tyran and locked it up tight and went to Axel's cave which was not very far away from their home.

Rose softly sighed as she reached Axel's cave and she walked inside.She sneezed softly and looked around a bit.Near the back of the cave she saw Axel asleep and she softly smiled as she walked over to him and climbed up on him and soon fell asleep. Axel had opened one of his eyes and saw his rider asleep on him and he moved a little bit as his tail soon laid over her like a blanket to keep her warm. He also unfurled his wing and draped it over her to keep in the warmth from his body,for it was a bit of a cold night. Axel fell back to sleep know that his rider was safe and warm. Rose was sound asleep and she dreamed about Sonic. Sonic would feel a slight push in his mind as Axel was trying to speak to him"You know she misses you very much.It is not fair to her that you are gone all the time.She see so little of you and yet she feels that she is unwanted and is thinking about going into crystal sleep which only you or i can break if something bad happens.Do you want her to go into crystal sleep with a sad heart for you know if she goes into crystal sleep with a sad heart,her dark self will awaken and who knows what might happen,You may not be able to get the Rose you love now back ever again."

Rose was still fast asleep under Axel's wing as he stared out into the forest from his cave.He mind waved Sonic again"Do what you want.This is war has nothing to do with me or my rider,but you must consider her feeling as well.If she does go into crystal sleep only i or you can wake her from it.She would stay asleep in til you return from your war.If she goes to crystal sleep with a dark heart she will be changed forever and you will not get the Rose you know now ever again."
