Rose sat in her beautiful wood rocking chair staring out the window of her home.She wore a long deep blue velvet gown with long bell sleeves and her right hand softly rested upon her swollen belly.She was pregnant with Lord Sonic's child,but she has not seen or heard from him and a long time.Tears started to roll down her cheeks an would softly land upon her gown.Her long silver hair was pulled back into a single braid.Her appetite was normal but she did not sleep very well and sometimes she did not sleep at all.She now was all alone and sad an she could feel that her sadness was consuming her.

Ronnie Breteuil was traveling through the forest after fighting a series of battles against low lives, criminals, demons and other manners of creatures. His armor was chipped. He had a few blood stains on his armor. Ronnie’s hand was pressed against his stomach as he was hungry, but was not sure how far he was away from the nearest town. His eyes would gaze around for something to eat, but would spot a cabin in the distance. He would ponder why anyone would live out in the woods. His stomach didn’t apparently care as he could hear it saying, go and ask for some food. Ronnie didn’t know what to think, because if someone lives outside from civilization they probable didn’t like people. There was no time to ponder. Ronnie would walk to the cabin door and would begin to knock at the door. Ronnie was a dark brown skin 5’10 human. He was equipped with white armor with a B engraved on the right shoulder. There was two rings around the B as it was the emblem of his family clan. He was equipped with a claymore sword at his back. Equipped at the front was two daggers, in a cross shaped over his chest.

Rose turned her gaze away from the window as she heard a knock at the door.She then slowly got up and made her way towards the door.She opened the door a little bit and she stared at the man who was a bit taller then she was and she sweetly spoke"Hello there,may i help you?"She stared at his armor for a bit,for she had never seen armor like his and she was not familiar with emblem.Her long silver hair softly shimmered in the sun light and her deep emerald green eyes sparkled.She then moved away from the door as she opened it a bit wider and she spoke once more"Please come in.You must be tired and hungry for i can tell you have been traveling a long time."

Ronnie waited at the door as it was a fairly attractive woman opening the door. She had a very inviting personality, despite a perfect stranger was knocking at her door. He was very skeptical about meeting anyone. He would quickly look her over as if to see if she had any weapons on her. He would also be looking to see if she looked experience in combat. He wouldn’t over think things too much, mainly because he was hungry. He would nod his head as she offered him to come in. “Thank you milady, I didn’t interrupt your sleep did I. He asked because she looked a bit tired possible from lack of sleep. He would also gaze around her cabin to see if there was anything he could learn about her by gazing the contents of her content or lack thereof. Ronnie would face her again awaiting for her hospitality. He would take a moment to also to partially synchronize with the light energy in his sword, as it usually cause him to tingle if he came in the presence of demonic, werewolf, zombie, and/or vampiric creatures. Even while he was using his sword to detect such presence he was watching her with a slight friendly smile on his face happy to have found a place that may provide him something descent to eat.

Rose softly smiled at him as she closed the door.she then slowly made her way past him and headed towards the kitchen"I was not asleep,just trying to relax the mind mostly.There is no evil presence here.I can a sure you of that because most are afraid to come around here."She entered the kitchen and she pulled out a plate from the cupboard and then moved about an she place a slice of bread,some cheese,some salted fully cooked meat,some fresh fruit and veggies.She then went back into the cupboard and pulled out a cup and then pour some cold water into it. She then called out him"Sir,if you come into the kitchen,you can sit at the table and have something to eat."She had tucked some of her long silver hair behind her half elven ear and if he saw,he would know that she was half elven.But she was surprised he had yet to mention the glove on her right hand or about her baby that she was carrying.

Ronnie believed her words, but mainly because his sword was not responding. Even though he did feel a tiny bit suspicion because she mentioned that others were afraid to come around despite it not being dangerous. Perhaps the area just looked dangerous. He had more questions if that was the case, because if this place looks dangerous then why would she live here. She was also pregnant, so more questions would just form. He would decide to ask, “Hmm, why would people think this place be dangerous?” He watched her walk into the kitchen. He did not follow simply because he wasn’t invited as of yet into the kitchen. He would just stand around until she finally decided to call him into the kitchen. He took notice of the glove on her hand, “hmm, that’s an interesting glove on your hand.” Ronnie decided to make an assumption considering she was pregnant and would continue his game of 20 questions, “So, where is your husband or lover, surely you aren’t living here all by yourself?” He just figured the person had to be out, perhaps hunting or something. It was one of the reasons he didn’t decide attempting to court her. He would sit at the table and watch as food was prepared, “Hmm, you have a lot of good looking food here.”

She turned to stare at him with her deep emerald green eyes"My husband disappeared and i do even know if he is alive or dead."She then took the glove off and she how him the palm of her hand.There near the base of her right thumb was the symbol for a dragon rider.She then spoke again"The reason it it dangerous around here is because of my dragon.You see Sir,I am a dragon rider.I hope you do not plan on killing my dragon for he has not harm anyone and he only kills deer for food.he would never harm anyone unless they try to harm me."she then move to the cupboard and pulled out another cup and poured some cold water into it and took a few swigs.Rose then placed the glove back on and she looked out the window"I am scared to raise this child alone.I want my child to have a father even if there true father is gone."Some tears started to roll down her cheeks.

Ronnie did recall hearing roars in the distance around, but that could have been anything. He figured it must have been the dragon. Given he was never attacked by the dragon; he felt her words to be legitimate as Ronnie had not yet become a dragon rider at this point. Ronnie responded abruptly at the notion he would consider harming her dragon. “Oh no, I find dragons fascinating and I am in the process of becoming a dragon Rider, I was just on a journey to an elder dragon village to try and become one myself. I just apparently didn't pack enough food for the adventure that's all. He began to use whatever utensils were provided to eat the meat, while waiting for her to say something. He would eat some of the fruits next. He would then speak, "Hmm, that's strange why would he leave his beautiful pregnant wife all alone out here, well I guess you do have your dragon to keep you company." He spoke all his flattering words while idly checking her out.

Rose turned to look at him and she softly smiled"Well one day he just suddenly left and never came back.He did not even leave a note or say where he was going.There is a dragon rider school here in Tyran.For you see i am the Head Mistress of the school.We just got a new clutch of dragon eggs and its the dragon who chooses the rider not the other way around."she then turned as she fixed a small plate of fruit and bread and brought it to the table along with her cup of cold water and sat on the other side of him.She then took a sip of her water before she spoke again"My name is Serenity dragonsrose Lithren but please call me Rose and May i ask what your name is,Sir?"She quietly stared at him with her deep emerald green eyes.

Ronnie watches her at her circumstances. It was odd that someone would leave without saying a word, especially a husband. Even if he was unhappy with his life, surely he would have given a sign he was leaving or something. It was strange, but it was also not his problem. He continue to eat more fruit as he enjoyed the sweet succulent taste of most fruit, “That’s a very sad story, did you ever think about going to look for him to find answers or something?” He figured if she was a dragon rider she can cover a lot of ground on a dragon as opposed to traveling on land like he does. Ronnie smiled at the thought of their actually being a dragon rider school, “That sounds very tempting, but Lord Tempest has given me special permission to enter a land full of dragons to earn the right to be a dragon rider, it would be disrespectful of me not to see that path to the end. Perhaps after I become a dragon rider there, I can visit your school and learn how to be a better dragon rider.” He nods his head and recalls her introducing herself and asking for his name. Ronnie stands to his feet after cleaning his face off with a napkin, “My name is Ronnie Breteuil. My family specializes in ridding the world of the ugliness that is Vampires, Demons, Werewolves and of the like.” He then sits down and huffs, as his family have lost a lot of popularity over the years, to the point no one even remembers them. It could be due to dwindling numbers, it could be because his family has restricted themselves to a certain land. Heck he would probably have lived the lifestyle as well if he was not out for vengeance. He shakes his head as those thoughts were not interesting for the moment. He would watch her waiting for her to say those familiar words, “never heard of them.” It wouldn’t bother him at this point. He was also curious to what her reasons would be to stay confined to this region, when a mystery was afoot.

Rose smiled at him as she continued to stare at him with her deep emerald green eyes"i have heard rumors that the Breteuil family are a noble and loyal family but there numbers have gone down as of late.But to warn you there are vampires,demons and werewolves here but they will not cause you harm unless you provoke them in some way or form.I know Lord Tempest very well.He is a good friend of mine.Which i should visit him some time soon."She then got up and put her empty plate in a large wash bin with warm soapy water.She then looked back at Ronnie"Are you still hungry?"

Ronnie looked surprised as this was the first time someone even knew of his family. Her knowledge was apparently not complete, because if she had sufficient knowledge, she would know that they specialize in slaying those creatures, “Heh, I don’t think I am the one that should be worrying about harm being done to. For the time being there is one creature I want to slay all the others are insignificant by comparison.” He quickly changes the subject, “Oh, so you know Tempest, he is a pretty awesome.” Ronnie moves a hand over his stomach when she mentions something about him still being hungry. He couldn’t help but think in the back of his mind, maybe hungry for you hehehe. His mind wouldn’t make it to his words as he would keep it to himself. He wasn’t quite physically hungry, but he wasn’t full either, “I still have room for more food, I thank you for your hospitality, by the way how long before you are due?” He motions his hand towards her stomach.

( Lord Sonic Rurare ) would teleport into his home his silver hair and wings would now be brown hair and black wings from his ' evil form ' as he called it but he would not actually be in his evil form. he looks to the knight and says " it is not wise for a knight to have such thought of a queen. " he walks over to Serenity give her a kiss and says " Sorry to have worried you, but with the war going on in Tyran I suppose DreedRoar neglected to inform you of the happenings of late. you should not worry so dear, you know I will always come home. "

Ronnie would notice the sudden arrival of Sonic and hand would immediately move to his blade as his first instinct was enemy, but after seeing how the situation played out, he figured this man was rose husband. This was his cue to leave. He heard the words of Sonic and briefly wondered he was a mind reader. Regardless he would not even respond to the comment, “Well this is my cue to leave, I am sure you two have a lot of catching up. Ronnie grabs ahold of one more apple, “I need to be going anyway. Perhaps the next we meet I will have become a rider.” He would head for the exit and would continue onwards with his journey.

Rose was totally caught off guard.She gasped as she dropped to her knees and was staring up at Sonic.Tears rolled down her cheeks and her whole body trembled.She did not know if he was real or if she was seeing a ghost.No one had sent word to her if he was alive or dead.Her left hand went to her stomach which held their child with in.

Rose started to cry an she would rub her eyes as she cried"I thought you were dead.No one sent me word or told me anything.I was so scared that i would have to raise our child alone.I felt if my heart was breaking because i was so lonely."Her whole body was trembling an She moved with Sonic to sit on the couch together as leaned against him.He would notice that she hadn't been sleeping very well and that she was very frail and very emotional.

Dreedroar was ment to tell you everything was fine but I am guessing he got caught up in the evacuations of something. "

Rose stared at him with her deep emerald green eyes as she softly spoke"The day you left no one came to speak to me or tell me any news.I started not to sleep very well or hardly at all some days and i did not eat very much as well because i was so worried."She brushed some of her hair out of her face as she then looked down at the ground and blinked a couple of times before she slowly started to drift off to sleep but she was trying to fight it because she wanted to stay away for she was afraid that he would disappear again if she fell asleep.Many thoughts ran through her mind.He had promised her so many things and yet he had broken a lot of them and she did not know whether she should cry or be so angry with him an start putting distance between them because of him braking his word to her.She was raised by her mothers people and when Elves made promises it was like a vow and if was broken then bad things would happen or revenge would be bitter sweet upon them.

he would cast a sleeping spell on her putting her fast asleep, he picked her up and carried her up the stairs, as he did so he softly said " I may break promises, but I do so to protect you, just as I always have ... and always will. " he enters the bedroom and lays her down, he then lays next to her holding her so she will know he is not leaving.

As she laid fast asleep next to him her left hand had tightly gripped his shirt and her head laid upon his shoulder.Her long silver hair rested in waves behind her and she stirred in her sleep here and there.She softly mumbled in her sleep"Please don't leave."Then a single tear rolled down upon her check.This would been the first time she would be able to sleep normal instead of just sleeping for a few hours.

Rose was in a deep sleep and did not move very much while she slept.She would pull the blanket a bit more closer around her as she slept and would stir in her sleep here and there.The blanket would slip off her when she stirred in her sleep and she would get a cold chill that would make her shiver and her hands were freezing an some of her long silver hair would fall into her face as she slept.

Rose would slowly wake up and she soon sat up in bed stretching a bit.She then racked her fingers through her long silver hair and yawned a bit.Rose then proceeded to get out of bed and put on her long warm robe on over her night gown and slowly made her way down stairs towards the kitchen.
