Rose stirred under Axel's wing.So Axel lifted his wing up to check on his rider.He softly nodded to himself as he put his wing back down to cover her again.He then looked back at the entrance of the cave and he spoke into Sonic's mind once again"As I said do what you want for it is your war,not ours.You have promised a lot of things to my rider and have yet to deliver. Always consider her feeling when you make decisions. An please ask for her advice on things and do not always make the decision on your own. You and her are a pair not one and one.She loves you and cares about you deeply remember that the most." He then left Sonic's mind and sealed off his own mind to others except for his rider who was still curled up against his side which was always toasty warm because of his dragon fire within him.

sonic sighs and gives the order to advance the Psionic division. the ensuing battle was swift, in hours 10 of thousands were dead yet not a one was of the Psionic division. he looks to Dreedroar and says " I leave the clean up to you. The end of this war brings but a fleeting peace to our lands. " he then teleports away appearing outside Axel's lair the glare of the dawns sun shining around him darkening him to a silhouette, yet a warmths of gentleness flows from him.

Rose was still fast asleep under Axel's wing. She pulled the blanket it a bit more closer around her and she softly sneezed a bit. Axel lifted up his wing to check on her and he noticed that she was still asleep and he softy nodded as he then turned his attention to the entrance of his cave for he sensed that someone was there.

Rose slowly woke up as she rubbed her eyes a bit and stumbled a little bit as she walked out from under Axel's wing with the blanket still wrapped around her for it was early and the sun was still rising from the horizon.She heard a familiar voice but could not see who it was because her eyes were still blurry.She pulled the blanket closer around her was she took a step forward and tripped on the edge of a rock that stuck up a bit higher and started to fall forwards.

Sonic teleports next to her and catches her. he smiles and says " Watch that first step." he picks her up and says to Axel, " I'll take her for now, we will meet you back at the forest home. " he then flies up holding her, if she looked down she would see a shattered Tyran, new rivers and island where once their was a single land mass. he smiles to her and playfully says " did ya miss me? "

Rose had looked down and saw what Tyran looked like now.She then turned her gaze up at him as she could not believe that he was here with her right now.She softly spoke"I missed you deeply my darling."She soon started to cry as she laid her head on his chest and listened to the sound of his heart beat.Her long silver hair softly shimmered like pure silver in the sunlight.As for Axel,he went back to sleep for he did not sleep very well since his rider was so stressed.what ever she felt or thought,he could feel and hear his riders thoughts.

Rose let out a sigh as she quivered in his arms.She kept her head on his chest as she closed her eyes and listened to the sound of his heart beat.She felt a very large load of stress just disappear.She did not know how long they had been in the air and it seemed to her that this moment that time had stopped.

If Rose looks down she would see time around them had indeed seemed to come to a near complete stop. he smiles and says " young Rita is not the only one that can control Time. " he then frowns and points to where the forest that once housed their home was but was now a twisted and broken mess. " The Quake wiped out hundreds of acres of forest. If our home is still standing its in that mess. " he gives her a kiss on the head " we will find it. "

Rose softly smiled up at him.She then looked back down at the ground and when she saw what the forest looked like a few tears rolled down her cheeks.She was raised by the elves her mothers people so she had a very special connection to the forest because it was enhanced when she became a rider.She hoped that there house was still standing.If it was destroyed then sonic,her and Axel would all have to move someplace else.She would even have to go into town and buy all brand new things.but at least certain things she owned were safe for Axel was protecting them.

Rose softly nodded as she listened to him.She then softly spoke"she would let you use that power if we werebacm in our homeland but since we are not we have to obey and follow the rules of this land,though made i can use my magic to heal the forest,since elven magic is apart of nature itself. Though it might take lot of my energy to do it."she laid herhead back down on his chest and closed her eyes.Her right hand that was gripping his shirt so tight that her nuckles were white,now held losely on to his shirt for she had fallen asleep in his arms.

Rose buried her face into his shirt a bit as she slept. Her grip would tigthen and losen ever so often while she slept. A huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders sinve sonic came back to her. She never took off the pendant that he had left for her after he left the second time. In her dreams she hoped to get to spend more time with sonic. She knew that sonic and deadroar could handle greedy nobles and politians. Though she did not know what she was going to do while she waited for sonic when he and deadroar were dealing with the politians. She hoped no danger would come to her or force her to go into crystal sleep.

Rose stired in her sleep.She softly spoke" I love you,sonic. Please don't leave me so alone again."she felt at ease and very relaxed in sonic's arms.though she did not know how far away they were from there homeland.sonic would notice that her energy level was very low. She really needed some r and r,but she was also exhusted. She wondered what sonic had planed for her was she slept in his arms.

Rose was feeling a bit better.She was no longer trembling due to the cold.She could smell the soothing scent of lavender and smell all the different flowers and herbs.She opened her eyes and and looked about and she softly spoke"darling,are we home,Are we in the palace in room?"

After he had set her down on her feet,the blanket she had wrapped around her had fallen to the floor and she slowly made her way to their bed. Her boots made no sound as she walked. She soon sat down on the bed and took off her boots. She then laid down on the bed and as soon as her head rested on the pillow,she had fallen asleep. Sonic would be able to see how exhaust,worn out and tirex she was plus it did not help while he was gone,she was stressing out a bit. Now that he was back that stress had disappeared,but it had taken its toll on her.

Rose had woken up and carefully had gotten out of bed for she did not want to wake sonic up from his slumber. She made her way to the bathroom and took a quick bath.she felt refreshed after bath.she then came back into the bedroom wearing a dark burgendy velvet gown with long bell sleeves. She made her way over to the window and was looking out at the horizon and her vision started to blur and her knees gave way a bit and she grabbed ahold of the table near her which caused the glass vase to tip over and fall to the floor shattering it. She dropped to the floor shaking a bit before blacking out due to having a high fever from having caught a cold.
